Country waffles closed forever!!! Loved this place, so we were crushed when we saw this traditional packed breakfast spot closed. I heard they want to tear it down and build something big soo the landlord super jacked the rent:(sad, this spot was very much part of the community.

Great country kitchen with good food and awesome prices. Staff is friendly and fast. I brought my five year old son along with me. He loved it. An up side for kids, they get a whole cup of different color crayons to color with while they are waiting.

We stopped in for breakfast and I was immediately attracted to the Apple Cinnamon Waffle and I’m sure it would have been a great choice. But I was happy to see a healthy choice because even though I would have totally eaten the waffle with a smile, I really try to eat for health. So I chose the Garden omelette. Good choice but I suspect that most of their menu is really good. Really good American breakfast spot.

Bacon and Butter was an hour wait and this place did not have a wait during the hours which would be considered«Sunday brunch» so this was the place to go. There was parking literally all around the restaurant so there shouldn’t be any problems finding any if you decide to come here. Upon entering, my girlfriend and I weren’t necessarily«greeted». There was a guy who just stared at us and quickly asked«for two?» and he briskly walked over to our table and dropped the menus on the table. For some, this may in a way be considered rude, but for some reason my girlfriend and I thought it was quite hilarious how awkward it kind of was. He seemed like he was in a hurry; like he was supposed to be off 10 minutes ago but he had to quickly refill everyone’s waters before he left or he was supposed to be on lunch break but the restaurant was too packed for him to be on break. This place is almost exactly the same as Denny’s. The service, the food, the way you have to pay for your meal, everything was the same as Denny’s. Honestly, we should have just went there instead. We were the youngest people there. If you looked around, everyone seemed to be at least 55 years or older. You could tell that a few were regulars there. Mostly because I over heard a server say to an older gentlemen who slowly strolled into his seat, «Hey there, Brandon! Nice seeing you again, the usual water and coffee?» With all of the senior citizens being there, they had a senior citizen section on the back of the menu. This also made me feel like I was in a cafeteria of the local senior living home. My theory is that all these older adults come here instead of Denny’s is because they don’t have to deal with the obnoxious, hungover, and sometimes still drunk college students. We ordered the peanut butter, banana and whip cream waffle, a couple pieces of bacon, two eggs, and the hillbilly benedict with hash browns. The hillbilly benedict was your choice of eggs(I had poached) on a biscuit and sausages that was covered in gravy. To start off, the waffle itself wasn’t bad but I felt like everything else on top was kind of, just lazy. There was about half a jar of crunchy peanut butter in the middle of the waffle and surrounding it were slices of banana and little mountains of whipped cream. The hillbilly benedict was pretty bland. I felt like since 93% of their customers are older and their taste palate is all worn down, they can get away with this. The biscuit kept falling apart and was hard to eat with a fork. Tobasco was my savior of the meal. Good ‘ol tobasco. The spicy, vinegary taste that enhances the bland and saves the meal who need a burst of flavor in just one drop… or 45 drops. Next time, I’m just going to Denny’s.

Very nice place, its comfortable. The waitresses have always been nice the four times I’ve been here. My waitress today, Brittany, was very attentative and kept my coffee full. I think their waffles are awesome and I know I’ll be back sooner rather than later.

I come here often for sunday brunch or breakfast. The food is good, and so cheap. The service is good, I mean, you cannot expect more for what you pay. The place has usually family and retired couple. The service is fast and there is enough parking outside. Nothing much to say, good spot for hangover day or family breakfast.

Typical dive. If you want grease and just hungry for mediocrity, stop by. Same customers who have been coming here forever.

Good food, good hospitality, great service! The portions were big and ran about $ 10 per person including fresh squeezed orange juice! Definitely found a hidden gem!

Great little place. I love it’s old school feel. Very nice staff clean fast and fun. It gets busy if you wait too long so get there early and enjoy. The apple sausage scramble or omelets are my favorite with a side of pancakes, but you only need one cause they are big and fluffy. When my friends come in from out of town-this is my recommendation. No one has been unhappy about that! Oh. Did I forget to mention the best country style potatoes? Hasgbrowns? Three egg omelets? My bad. You know what –stay away from Eggies, that way I’m always assured to get a seat!

I usually go here as much as I can! I love their weekly coupons they send through your email(write your email in the email sign up sheet next to the register). Their service is consistent, fast and always attentive. Food wise I’ve never had any complaints here. This is always my go to spot for brunch! Try their plain waffle it’s bomb! May I add that they do cool hot chocolate designs!!!

Cons: –They forgot to give me my biscuit/gravy in my to-go order. –Their eggs benedict had american cheese on it, I think(gross) and it was a bit too salty. Pros: –The waffle was good. If you get it to-go like I did, take the whole waffle out of the container right away, otherwise, whatever part you leave in the box will get soggy. I might go back again, but I’ll be sure to check all the boxes in my order next time.

Disappointed When you goto a place that has waffle in there name you expect to see a full page if waffle options not 5 or 6. Hash browns — were good so I gave them 2 stars for that Bacon — thin and small Eggs — ordered over medium and got eggs over hard, no liquid yolk left The plain waffle was done but had a funny taste to it like the iron was unclean or they used old oil My wife ordered veggie omelet and she said it was ok. Our toddler had the smiley face pancake it was cute, of course she know ate the whip cream and chocolate chips, I tasted the pancake it was just ok. Service — was ok, a little slow. It was clean inside, and the restroom was too If you have small kids they have high chairs and booster seats crayons and a kids menu All in all if your looking for waffle variety and good bacon, avoid this place

It was a yummy first visit! I got the caramel banana pecan waffles and hash, eggs, sausage, and bacon. The waffles melted in my mouth and i love caramel so that was a plus! The only thing was the hash wasn’t included in the meal but other than that I recommend this to any breakfast lovers:)

This place puts other breakfast/bruch places to shame! Originating from the Deep South, I’ve always been on the hunt for some good ol’ comfort food. and Ya’ll, for the love of baby Jesus, please come here. It’ll make your tummy and wallet happy. Just imagine, a plate of a big ol’ flakey, warm biscuit covered with a deliciously, thick aromatic gravy that would make grandma proud. Lord have mercy on my soul XD The portions are generous and the staff is super friendly, very homey. I actually left smiling and that thing was hurting my cheeks all day :3
