I live in the East Bay and found a «One Owner» Used 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad
Cab that had low mileage online that was 75 miles away in Sacramento advertised for Class Auto Sales.
After contacting Ash (The Dealer/​Manager), via e-​mail asking further questions I decided to make the trip to see the vehicle and look it over.
It had some typical «Wear & Tear» «Dents & Dings» (The kind that a 12 year old truck would sustain over the life span of it’s usage.
Being that it showed only 59.591 miles (4,965 per year) it was one of the lowest on the list of used car choices showing.
Ash was great in making it a «No Pressure» sales. He met my expectations and bottom line Price. He even had 2 discrepancies I noticed immediately fixed and replaced.
Overall, I would use Class Auto Again!

I bought a car and the service was great no hassle get to the point quickly. I refer any body like to buy a car go there .

Just bought a 2007 Mercedes Benz E 350 and it’s an excellent car. Y.L. Is a great sales representative; he was friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t put any pressure when buying the car. I advise ALL to read this review very carefully and read everything before risking your finances with this «dealership»
Because I will tell you the gods honest truth about this dealership.
Well, I decide I liked their 350z. The price was a bit high but I was willing to work.
First off one of their «employees» asked me if he could «have» or «buy» my mothers handicap placard.
Who does that.
Like really.
Really shady character there. He was a Hispanic fellow.
Then when I decide to take a look at the car. Oh well it’s not there. Which was fine. Then I find out, oh the boss really loves this thing. So he’s been using it as a daily driver while it’s on the lot.
He gets back. Let’s us test drive it oh and there is McDonald’s bags all in the car.
Half eaten lollipops in the little change thing on the center area.
Gross, but okay I look past it.
We drive it, seems okay. Then I pull over and the second I do that and drop it into neutral the engine starts knocking.
Well now instantly I’m not quite comfortable.
I pop the hood. The engine bay is filthy.
So I bring it back, we sign some paperwork.
So we apply for the loan yada yada.
The salesman seem pretty confident in this car.
The Z symbol is peeling off in the trunk. The front bumper has a long crack in it, all the way through. There is a long paint chip on the fender with rust and everything. I mention it, oh well they can get it fixed for about $ 200 the whole car.
Well I’m a painter. That is definitely never going to happen unless they do some scam cheap fix.
This isn’t even nearly the worst of it.
So I say okay, you guys fix it blah blah.
They keep saying «oh well it’s not ready» blah blah.
Then why did you get it almost two weeks prior and post it online.
Total BS.
So then I decide I want to get s pre purchase inspection by Nissan.
I come over the next day and let them know.
Well I get there and he did call me back. But I was driving so I didn’t get too mad. Well even though he said okay, the boss was in Fairfield with he car.
Probably hot rodding around.
Even though they think I don’t understand them. They’re sitting there in front of my mother and I speaking a different language.
Which is very rude. Especially when it comes to something like a sale like this.
Why hide anything.
Shady.
So I take it to Nissan spend $ 160
Dodged a bullet.
The crank case was horrifically dirty, the oil was 3 fucking quarts low and it had obviously been like that for a while.
Drive belts were cracked, needed replacing.
All the fluids were disgustingly dark and needed to be flushed out.
Valve cover leaking.
Back tires were pretty much slicks.
Ect ect ect.
You’re looking at $ 2,000 to get it done at a good reputable mechanic not $ 700 like they said.
Oh name brand shops cost more.
It’s prevailing wage man.
Shops can’t charge more than what is fair in the are so bs.
With your quick cheap fixes.
Oh and that’s $ 2,000 before all the paint jobs it needs and the new bumper.
That’s not a bondo job.
I come back and have my negotiating power.
This car is worth 6k retail and that’s being generous.
It’s in «fair» condition.
So I tell them exactly what’s up. Not trying to come out ahead. But just fairly.
Well they’re not having it. He led me to believe the car was in immaculate condition. The engine was really good blah blah.
Then was confident enough to offer me a one year drivetrain warranty.
Honestly. They’re lucky I didn’t buy that car because it’s a law suit waiting to happen on that car.
So I tell them. I will pay their price which was $ 4500 more than what it was worth.
IF they fixed everything correctly.
Well they argue from s business standpoint. Oh well we are only making $ 800 profit.
Well it’s not the buyers problem you got ripped off with the initial price of the car.
Sometimes you take a loss. That’s business.
Anyways after all is done and they don’t want to judge on their rip offffffff time bomb.
We leave and at last moment they ask to have a copy of the pre purchase inspection. Yeah right. I just paid $ 160 for that.
Oh and when we were talking inside. They asked for the keys to my truck since I was looking to trade it in.
Little did I know until after everything. My mother had seen them actually take the truck out for a spin.
Without out permission.
Isn’t that joyriding? Well I didn’t give you permission to drive it.
Oh and what’s funny is, when we told them what the outcome was, it’s like they didn’t even know.
What dealer can drive around 3 quarts low on oil and also not check the engine and act like even if they did fix it all up then they’d just sell it for more.
Anyways, reporting to BBB, DMV for that placard stunt and consumer affairs.
Good job on running a horrible business.
Next time, be careful on who you try to rip off.
Because you never know, who knows who.

Just bought a car from these guys and it’s awesome. I got below the advertised price and the car is in a great condition. The sales and finance was easy and hassle free. I will come back and recommend my friends to go to class auto. Thanks again

I bought a 2004 lexus ls430 from here about 1 year ago. The car itself is great but the experience here not so great…
The car had 104k miles on it & the guy said he had taken it to the shop & they replaced this & this. To be fair, he did disclose the timing belt had not been replaced & I knew that was a big ticket item around this mileage, but when I took it in for maintenance they said the 90k maintenance had not been done (Timing belt + a few other expensive items in addition).
Also after we had agreed on a price & were doing paperwork I mentioned that I was assuming he was going to fill up the tank because it was almost emptyl. (I assume in all dealerships this is standard). He said yes then gave his worker only $ 20 to help fill it to just a ¼…really?
Anyways, car was not a lemon or anything, but this place left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Had my car for over a week now, and everything is going good. Jon and Ash are good guys and car was as advertised. Thanks! They also worked with me to fix some random stuff before I picked up my car. Perfectly priced by carfax and kbb.
