They don’t even let you inside during dinner time? You can’t get your own nacho chips or use the bathroom. Not sure why you can’t get inside but it really weird the the lobby is completely lite up with lights but u can’t get in. On another note the lady on the mic keeps asking anything else anything else like the movie They don’t have their lobby hours posted anywhere and they charge .50 for chips at the window because they have to use a bag. And they don’t give the jalapeños or carrot at the window either.

You Could do worse. The carne asada is really salty. I’m not kidding if you don’t like things over salted even a little bit, stay away. I would also recommend using your own hot sauce if you get food to-go. I would give the food itself just a star or two, but I bumped it up to 3 stars because of being available 24 hours, and for huge portion. You get so much carne asada on their 5 dollar taco or their nachos. During the day you can find better. But at 10pm when you’re a little lit, this place will hit the spot. I’ve been saved many a hangover by pounding some water and carne asada fries from here.

The al pastor super burrito is bomb! Do think it is quite over priced. The al pastor is always really crispy and flavorful. It’s definitely my favorite. Crave it all the time! The asada fries are also really good! It’s the only spot open late so check it out!

I ordered chorizo breakfast burrito and received carne asda fries instead lol. I already waited 20 minutes in the drive thru… I wasn’t going wait another 10 minutes to make my meal.

The food here is pretty good, but if you have about 20 extra minutes, you should just head to the Adalberto’s on 50 and Bradshaw. I think the two are sister company’s in some way. But the Bertos on 50/Bradshaw is just on point. Carne Asada Fries ALLDAYLONG.

They’ve changed their tacos… Now they put a whole punch of stuff on it, without asking u. Great for late night food and it’s hot and fresh. Really like the rolled tacos and carne asada nachos. Lines can get long, but all the food is cooked right after u order it. Pretty good place to eat

Ordered: 3 rolled beef tacos w/cheese Carne Asada Fries 1 Carne Asada Taco — I am allergic to GUACAMOLE and asked them 3x to make sure they don’t add it to any of our order and they still added it. I couldn’t remove the guac so I threw away the asada fries & asada taco. — The rolled tacos were not good, the beef was cold and dry in the center — We were the only customers & they still messed up our order

So I have not been to this location in quite a while. I went here to get some carne asada tacos and /3 carne asada tacos I ended up paying $ 14. I have never paid $ 14 for 3 tacos in my life the customer service was not that great either. Unfortunately I will not return his worst case scenario I have had much better

Decided to try this place after reading all the great reviews about their carne asada. I ordered carne asada nachos and a large horchata. My total was 13.13 I thought that was pretty expensive compared to similar cal-mex restaurants I’ve been to. Anyway, once I paid the drive thru attendant handed me my food and I asked for more salsa(after seeing 3 in the bag) she then told me «there’s some in the bag» I then told her I would like more. She then yelled«how many more do you need?!» I told her kindly, 2. I drove off and went home to enjoy these pricy nachos and was extremely disappointed by the overpowering salty flavor of the meat. I tried to drown the salt with salsa, but it didn’t work. Wayyyyyyy too salty to eat more than a few bites. This place gets 1 star for being open 24⁄7 but the horrible customer service and unbearably salty food has definitely made this my first and LAST trip.

Had some rolled tacos to tide me over and they were pretty good. Basic but good. Could’ve used some guac or sour cream instead of all cheese but can’t complain too much. Later tried the adobada combo and the meat wasn’t short on the seasoning and flavor. I’d come back as a regular for Mexican food cravings.

I used to love this Carolinas but in the recent time’s, there quality have drastically gotten worse.(3 times in a row) One big thing is there hot sauce is now super watered down. Taste pretty gross. Just ordered Carne sada burrito and nachos, GROSS,. Just by the look of it you can tell it was left over meat from yesterday re warmed up. Again, I love Carolinas. The one in Roseville is still delicious, this one by Mac road… Well, after all these years… Today’s the last day I’m coming to this one

Late night munchies, looking for close to home that is open late, so we were deciding to give it a try, drive through lines all around the building and got to watch police car in action. Any how, carne asada fries for $ 8.50 + tax was pretty good, Mexican-California fusion food, will come back for more and try something else.

I’ve been here only a few times. I’ve tried their carne asada fries and it was bland and the hot sauce didn’t really make a difference. The first time I got a california breakfast burrito from them I was overwhelmed with how big it. It was delicious and totally worth my money. The second time I ordered it, I was just disappointed. The circumference of my burrito was half of what I got the first time and it lacked flavor. I went around 1AM both times on a Friday night but idk. I also ordered some chips. The first time I ordered some of them had a lemon-y flavor similar to the smell of cleaning solution. That worried me so I just tossed the chips away. Sad. The second time I ordered again to see if I was just unlucky but again it had a slight hint of the same smell and so I don’t think I’ll ever be ordering chips from them again. Fries — meh California breakfast burrito — I’ll give it another try Chips — don’t do it dude.

The customer service is hit or miss at times but the food is ALWAYSGOOD! I go here 3 – 4 times a week for either chicken rolled tacos, carne asada fries, or carne asada mini tacos. BOMB! just had an issue, and they fixed it with no issues. I believe their customer service has gotten better. Hella good food!

Open 24⁄7 to subside your late night cravings for some Mexican food. I typically get the California burrito but lately the meats been kinda dry to me., but their chicken tacos are awesome! Chunky pieces of shredded chicken. The meat is nice and moist, not dry at all. I like to pour on extra hot sauce that they give you to make it taste even better. I can even order breakfast for dinner. Their bacon egg and potato burrito with bell peppers is a great breakfast item choice. I havent tried the other breakfast options yet, but i will soon. The carne asada fries are decent. Ive had better.

I’ve always heard about their carne asada fries being great, but eh… I didn’t like them at all. They were quite salty and I mean, they weren’t completely trash, but they were just okay. Wish they had more guac :(they do put a ton of meat on it though, so I’ll give them that. I came here around 10pm and there was a line at the drive thru, but it took forever… Don’t know, maybe I came on the wrong night or something but this definitely wouldn’t be my first pick to get some carne asada fries from next time I’m craving them. Kinda sucks since this location is so close to my house. Still continuing my search for a place that makes bomb carne asada fries ~

If you ever crave for Mexican food at night, then this is the go-to place! It’s open 24⁄7! Carne asada fries is a must. I love the carne asada fries. It’s .yummy in my tummy. It’s always good which is why I keep on coming back for more. I tried the supreme burrito or steak burrito and it was also good. Definitely a fan of Carolina’s.

Just like everyone else, we come here in the middle of the night after partying or even after spending an evening at home, to indulge on the CARNEASADAFRIES! Talk about the most high calorie, salty.. .love of my life :)! We try so hard to eat healthy but every now and again the urge to get the overloaded fries covered in greasy carne asada, sour cream, cheese, guacamole or the rolled tacos covered in melted cheese, sour cream and guacamole, takes over our bodies and no matter what time it is. .. we go! Certain times during the night there maybe one worker, yes one: cooking, cleaning, taking the orders and money so the drive through line is slow and yes I have even fallen asleep(as the passenger). But once we get home, pouring the homemade sauce all over our meals, it is complete silence! Look love for what it is, Great late night EATS!
