A nice, small threading salon and the closest one nearby for my convenience besides the one by Arden. They get the job done, but they do miss a few spots here and there… You need to ask for cooling gel at the end of your session and they’ll give it to you. If not, then you won’t get any. Lol. Sadly, no brow massaging is given, but cooling gel still feels nice after the threading. Other than that, it’s good… But, I’ve been to a better threader.

This used to be my normal place. I would go every 3 to 4 weeks. And there was one girl who always had a line of people waiting for her I would see. Well last year she was rarely there so I went with the girls who were working. They royally jacked up my eyebrows and then would tell me my hair wasn’t growing back right. I had beautiful eye brows originally that didn’t need any shading makeup. I ended up have to go buy a benefit kit my brows looked so bad. Well a few months back I stopped going there and went to one in the folsom outlets and I’m happy to report my beautiful thick and great shaped eyebrows are back. MY WARNING TO PEOPLE WHO ARE THINKING OF GOING THIS PLACE USE TO BE GREAT BUT IS NOT ANY MORE.

This is not the best place I have ever been to, but definitely adequate, and one of the better ones locally. I do not know why this place has so many negative reviews. When the woman finishes, and you see some strays or some unevenness, point it out, they will clean it up and trim. You have to tell them BEFORE not to thin them and I have never had an issue. My guess is these people have already over tweezed and ruined their own eyebrows and want to take it out on someone, even though they didn’t give the threader much to work with.

I used to come here all the time because it was convenient for me and they weren’t that bad. Until one day… I came by and was literally in and out in 3 minutes. This is a BAD thing if you’re getting your eyebrows done! The lady spent NO time on them, didn’t offer any cooling gel/​witch hazel, didn’t even ask what I wanted! My eyebrows were all F’ed up. One was super thin and they were completely different shapes. It’s been a year and they are finally back to normal. I’ve been going to the threading place in Arden ever since this location messed them up, and they are 100x better.

Love this place! The owner is so sweet and she seems to be the only person in the area that does what I ask! Without taking to much off and giving me the shape and arch I want. Always such a great experience, so glad they aren’t closing with the new arena they’re here to stay and I’m here to continue to get my eyebrows done the right way. ! Thank you!

I love this place but right now, they’re making me very upset. They leave everyday the same time for lunch with nobody else in there! There are usually more than one person anyways

My most recent visit has been the best by far. A very pretty skinny girl threaded my eyebrows this time and WOW. She did them so perfect! She cleaned them up without making them thin, they were as identical as eyebrows could get and she even trimmed my brows without me asking and rubbed in some witch hazel for the redness. Very pleased with how my brows came out. Definitely erased my previous bad experience.

I don’t get what all the negative reviews are about! I love this place!
I used to get my eyebrows waxed but I had to find an alternative. My eyebrows were so thin and after EVERY wax I had the worst skin reactions. So, I decided to give this place a try and I have no regrets! My eyebrows are a lot thicker now, I have no skin irritation and it lasts a lot longer than waxing.
And the prices are great! $ 10 for eyebrows – you can’t beat that! This is the only place I trust with my eyebrows!

To clarify, I went to the UPSTAIRS location, across from the food court. I went here because i was overdue for my monthly cleanup and hadn’t been able to make it to my regular place. This place was great! She was nice and quick, which was important because I was on my lunch break. I have a scar on my eyebrow from when I was a kid and she was careful not to take off too much. I walked in with messy brows and out with nicely groomed ones less than 10 minutes later.

Ok this place is long over due for a review from me. I have been a repeat customer for quite awhile now. When I first started coming here I was kinda weary of all this threading business. I had heard about it and was like ummmm ouch no thank you.
My first couple visits I had Charmaine. My eyebrows were pretty thick back then as I really didn’t do any extra maintenance. An occasional wax but I found waxing to be painful and usually my skin would break out afterwards usually due to dirty wax or wax that’s too hot.
Charmaine did a wonderful job the first dozen times I went. I also would see a young lady who was said to be her sister, either way she did a beautiful job as well.
As time went on I would ask only to see those girls as I had bad experiences with other employees there. A couple times I had seen a few other girls working there and I would ask for them not to arch my eyebrows. They assured me that they would just do a «clean up» well the clean up ended up being two different styles! One eyebrow was straight while the other would be arched.
This is completely annoying and to say the least unprofessional on their behalf. Now I have to pay to walk around with half my face looking surprised while the other side was straight .
Uuuugh ok it’s just eyebrows right?! They grow back, I’ll just wait a month or two to grow them back out. In the meantime I have to walk around looking like Sasquatch until they grow back. Which in a sense is better than walking around with one round eyebrow and one straight… I guess.
I vowed only to go when Charmaine or her sister. Which can be a pain in the butt when I can only get to this place on certain days. But worth the wait, for straight brows. Somewhere down the line maybe 8 months into being a regular, Charmaine would thread me so fast it was painful to the point where I could barely look in the mirror between my tears to actually see if my eyebrows were good.
I understand they get busy and try to get as many customers as they can but seriously it urks me big time when I notice I’m being rushed and it becomes painful. I’m a paying customer and I want you to take your time. As the months went on I noticed that my eyebrows were getting more and more uneven. Due to threading too much on one side and partly due to being rushed. So not only are my brows arched way too high but now uneven. The space between my eyes were not properly spaced one shorter than the other.
The response when I look in the mirror is your one eyebrow is different than the other and so I tried to match them the best. «Yeah no sh*t» they’re uneven because you keep threading them differently and uneven. Your the only one I go to to get threaded so if u keep threading them unevenly that’s gonna happen!
Honestly your sister and I wish I knew her name, is the only one who can thread properly. Every time I go and see her my brows are perfect straight and not over arched and never does she not properly space in between my eyes.
I’m sorry Charmaine but I don’t know what happened with you, but maybe you need to slow down and take your time so you don’t mess up my brows. I know a lot of people come in asking for only you, I use to be one of them. But I am fed up with your skills or lack there of. Maybe it’s time to find another threading place. I’m giving 2 stars for two messed up eyebrows. Your sister I would give 5 stars.

After my wedding makeup trial my makeup artist gently told me that I needed to get my eye brows done for a cleaner look. Was I upset? No. I did let my brows get out of hand!
I usually pluck them myself, but I figured I should let a professional handle it. I was weary about getting a wax because the wax is hot, it hurts, and my skin gets irritated afterwards.
On my lunch break I decided to check out the threading version next to Macy’s. They advertised that it hurt less than a wax — which was something I was excited about. I’m not a fan of pain. And since the method was threading, your skin would not feel irritated after — another plus!
Was there pain??? Hell yes! I teared up in both eyes. It stung! With a wax it hurts after one pull. But with threading they sting you several times. Totally false advertisement. However, my skin wasn’t irritated afterwards and she shaped them really clean. Clean, straight lines — my mae up artist will be happy. I think they were cleaner than any wax I’ve ever had. And only for $ 10! Definitely be back before the big day!

Brow Shaping Salon is a hidden gem ! First off; if you are someone who waxes your brows — you have to give this a shot at least once just for the experience! I think you get much cleaner lines with threading but the only drawback is the small blond hairs get overlooked. There are two locations for the Brow Shaping Salons and it is most definitely hit and miss depending on whom you choose to go with. I usually go to the one on the lower level, everyone has their favorite stylist here and I am not great with names but there are a couple girls there who are just amazing and fast. If your a first timer just be ready to hold your brows for them.. it threw me off at first.. And also… it’s just a tiny bit painful at first ;) happy threading!

I was skeptical of going here at first because of the reviews. But I’m glad I gave it a shot. My eyebrows look great. The woman, Gia who did them, did an awesome job. I would have given this place 5 stars but she did get me a few times and so I had some scabs, but it’s much better than getting burned from wax. The price was great too! Only $ 10 for eyebrows! I will be coming back and going back to Gia!

I came here yesterday with my sister and her friend to get our brows thread. I was first, and asked Shareem not to thread it too thin since it was already thin. She reassure me she wouldn’t. In the end, it came out to what I didn’t want. Tooo thin! It took me a whole 3 months to grow it out!
Next was my sister, she was suppose to shape and thread it per her request. She shape it alright, she made her right eyebrows thinner then the left and after we address our issues, she told her that her brows were partially missing from the beginning and all she had to do was filled it in. Wtf? Didn’t care to fix it either.
Last but not least, it was her friend’s turn. Since she’s Romanian, she has thick eyebrows already. I must say, that her brows came out pretty nice once it was done. Only good thing about this whole experience.
I came here before but had another girl, and she was fantastic. I didn’t catch her name, but I’m guessing she doesn’t work there anymore?
When it came down to paying, I used my ATM card to pay for all three. Shareem had the audacity to ask if I was gonna tip her. Wth? Regardless of my experience, I always give a tip even tho it wasn’t that great. Prob would be my last time here unless I see the girl that did my brows here the first time.

Nice, small place by Macy’s. I’ve been going there for a while now & I’ve always love the job they do. I have thick eyebrows & I’ve never had a problem with them taking off too much. Didn’t give full 5 stars because sometimes it feels a little rushed.

If by «cleaning up» your eyebrows, you mean making them pencil-​thin AND two completely different, uneven shapes, then this place is for you. I’ve been here several times with OK enough results to keep me coming back thanks mostly to the convenience, but this last time (and it’s «last time» on multiple levels) was the worst job I’ve ever had ANYWHERE, threading or otherwise.
Never again.

«I mean look, dude. You think this was an accident? All this right here? Premeditated. Partner. You gotta highlight your attributes, like a diamond in the rough.» That’s what Jay tells Andy in «The 40 Year Old Virgin», so I took his advice and tried to highlight the very few attributes I do have.
I’ve done threading before but for the most part I do my own brow manscaping. Feeling a little lazy and this place located right outside of Macy’s where I had just walked out of, I decided to stop. The shop itself is very simple, just a few chairs where they do the threading and not much else. I was the only person there so they got me in and out pretty quickly and painlessly.
As far as their work, ehhhh, it was OK. I didn’t want my brows redone or shaped, just cleaned up a little. I did get home and have to touch up some areas she missed so I guess she could have definitely done a better job. But I rather them take less than more and leave me with «SURPRISED» looking eyebrows.

This is the coolest place ever. I think Downtown plaza is lucky to have them because they kept on having customers one after the other when I was there. The person who was doing eyebrows was extremely nice. She gave us a little timeline of what will be done with your eyebrows and then she got it done.
Threading is great! First time I tried threading my eyebrows. I think it’s better than tweezing and waxing. She even took off the little tiny hairs that look like invisible peach fuzz on my cheek. She was so amazing!
Its really great! I will definitely try it again!

Brow Shaping Salon has 2 locations at the Downtown Plaza. This one is on the second floor, across from the food court and open during mall hours.
They have 2 chairs in the storefront. and the store has large windows so anyone walking by can watch. But, I’m also told they have a back room.

They have a Customer Rewards Program– Get 5 sets of Eyebrows done and the 6^th is free.
When you walk in. You sign in and wait for your turn. or you can also call and make an appointment. I saw Sharmeen and she did a great job. When you pay out and decide you want to leave a tip on a card, you’ll have to tell them the full amount up front.
And lastly, at this store they don’t validate for the parking garage. Sharmeen said their other location on the first level will validate. Slight hassle but if you’re at the mall. you can probably validate anywhere else you go.
