Came here this after noon with friends, we have eaten here before and haven’t had a problem. But today after we ordered they gave one of my friends her food and my other friend and I were left without any food for another 20 minutes took them very long to make it. Also the pop corn chicken we had tasted like they used tons of garlic. Still good every now and again would recommend just to try it out it’s not for everyone.

I once loved it here ! Now it’s nasty like most restaurants they start out good then turn to shit ! They have horrible service it takes me about 30min to put in a order no bs ! The Communication is horrible, and I’m pretty sure it’s unsafe to eat raw undercooked food ! When you ask them to take it back they play stupid like they don’t see the nasty food they just served !

When I came in at 9, it wasn’t busy at all. I ordered spicy beef, which came out pretty quick yet there was no soup or salad. Then the waitress asked if I wanted the complementary soup and salad which I said yes. But it never came. The table came after us got their soup and salad immediately after they ordered. It got even more ridiculous when my crêpe came out 15 mins after I finished my plate. When I came up to pay, it took a while because the guy was too busy on his phone to notice me standing in front of the register. Mediocre food, terrible service.

Great ambience, super clean. We were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in and seated right away, offered drinks and was not rushed to order. We tried the s&p tofu and wonton in spicy oil for appetizer. Both were delicious. The tofu was crunchy outside and smooth and soft inside, surprisingly, it complemented well when we dipped it into the spicy oil of the wonton. Hubby tried the beef ribs and rice on iron plate, a bit salty for his liking. It came with soup or salad. I had the curry beef brisket in claypot which came with plain rice and soup or salad. The brisket was very tender, and the curry sauce not too overpowering. We also sampled the salted fish fried rice which was ok. We didn’t finish our food to save room for dessert. We loved the Mango gi gi and hot sticky rice with mango. i got especially excited for the mixed fruit crêpe with a hello kitty design. It was great as well. We will come back for sure for the food and hopefully with enough courage to hear ourselves in the karaōke room.

Service was fast. The baked pork chop rice was a little greasy & the red bean soup I had tasted like plain hot water. It absolutely had no taste at all. This got me so disappointed because it is one of my favorite desserts. Other than that, everything was okay.

I love this place! I used to frequent this place every weekend because they’re always opened until 3AM! So if you’re hungry and it’s late, come here. Mixed fruit waffle with ice cream: 5⁄5 — Their waffle has a similar consistency to a pandan waffle. It’s pretty thick but airy and fluffy. The fruits are often times fresh, but not all the time. I always get green tea ice cream and I think they use dreyers brand which is pretty good. Mixed fruit crêpe with ice cream: 3⁄5 — Not a big fan of crepes because it’s just a flat piece of carbs and fat… Hot oil wonton: 4⁄5 — I don’t eat wontons often but these were pretty good! Hot tea is pretty good. There isn’t a strong flavor, which is why I like it. Everything here is pretty cheap. Don’t expect much but waffles are to die for. Well for me they are because I love waffles. Service is always great for me.

Am I being given an americanized menu or something because I can’t ever find the good food(that I’ve seen on here) on it and anything that I’ve gotten that has«mixed vegetables» consists of that shredded lettuce salad that you buy in bags that’s mixed with carrot slices. …can someone help, I’d really love if I could eat good food here lol it’s so close to my house.

The service sucked last time I was here. The girl who helped us was clearly sick and I feel for her but she kept coughing at us as she took our order. She had a horrible attitude as well. The food is fine. But after this service, I will never go back.

This place closes at 2 am so it is perfect for late night munchies. The parking lot is small but plenty of nearby street parking. We ordered the honeydew smoothie with boba. It was very sweet. We also ordered chicken wings, salt and pepper tofu, and the wonton. They are appetizer size very small portion. All were very very delicious and came out temperature hot. Must go back and try others. There is a lot of desserts on the menu. We ordered the mango sago. The portion was enough to share for two people. The sweetness was perfect and the tapioca balls were good. There was pieces of mangos in the dessert too.

Great lunch special $ 7.95. I’ve only been here for lunch. I like the modern décor, not your typical Chinese restaurant interior. Friendly and fast servicea big deal for this type of restaurant, plus one star. Food is good, tasty and big portions.

Lots of great food and snack choices. Boba tea is on par. They were out of a few things like the schezuan tea. Lots of cool dessert options like crepes and waffles at a good price. A large crêpe with fruit and ice cream only $ 6.25! Server is very attentive. Would definitely come back.

Love how this place opens late night so I can satisfy my late night cravings. Salt & pepper wings I would definitely recommend this. It’s hot and crispy when it comes out and I love the stuff that they put on it as well which gives it an extra crunch. One of the best salt & pepper wings I’ve had. Hot oil wontons Another must have right here. It’s incredibly tasty, juicy, & flavorful. Cream cheese wontons I love cream cheese wontons & the ones here aren’t bad, just average. $ 3 for 4 pieces. Crêpe The crepes here are really good. I always get the mixed fruit which is a combo of strawberries, kiwi, bananas & mangos with green tea ice cream.

First time trying it and service was exceptional(2 older ladies). Food was largely Asian fusion, which tasted interesting but still good. It was also very nice to have our food come out so quickly. Cool vibe/atmosphere and nice interior as well! The server constantly checked up on us and was very friendly, which made the experience even better. If you are looking for traditional Chinese food/dining, this is not the place for it. They also do not bring out complimentary tea like many other chinese restaurants, but if you’re looking for a hip place with creative food and great service, this place is definitely worth checking out! I will be coming back to try their other dishes! :) Update: came back a second time and there were different servers(2 younger ladies). Their service was disappointing and not like the first time I experienced here. They weren’t very friendly and they did not check up on us. We had to flag them down several times. I don’t know what happened to the service, but it’ll probably be a while before I come back.

If it’s not yummy, I’m here. I think this place doesn’t offer as much as yummy café but the choices of food and dessert that they offer are pretty good. They offer snacks, hot pot, pasta, etc. And a ton of dessert. For me it is more appetizing than what yummy café has to offer. This place definitely upgraded. They now offer booths for both sides of their dining area. They have a display of ice cream, when you enter the building. Very friendly staff. Can’t go wrong. What I usually order: hot oil wonton, Mongolian beef, wings, and spare ribs with black pepper sauce. I love black pepper sauce. It tastes good. The food here is always hot, it’s offered over a hot plate. The flavor for the food, to me is ok. Maybe I should widen my food choices a bit. Because I prefer the food at yummy café instead. The hot oil wonton is good though. I like it. The salt and pepper wings, honestly I don’t like those anywhere. I prefer regular wings or sauced up with flavor. I don’t mind the food, that’s why I keep coming back. Btw this place is also a karaōke spot. So come eat and enjoy a song or two with your friends. Ahah«I’m a spokes person.»

As I roamed around the Land Park neighborhood yesterday on 8÷16÷2015, I decided to come for this Chinese restaurant: Blue Moon Café and Karaōke. As I entered there, the atmosphere is quite small with a good ample of tables to dine in. The concept is much late night feel because it’s perfect for late night dining and simply having a karaōke night. The employees are very mixed-bag for me as I greeted there, so I have no problems at all for me. For the food ordering, I ordered the Chicken with vegetables with rice for the lunch special offer which it costs $ 7.95 per plate. As I ate it, the food is quite average for me. The chicken and the vegetables are eatable including the starch too which it feels like making my homemade meal. The steamed jasmine rice cooked very well, so no problems at all. Additionally, I also ordered the milk tea with boba, and it tasted very good! The flavor of the milk tea does enhanced the flavors very well. The parking is harder to park because it’s located at this strip mall. You can park there before the doors open or during the lunch hours. Otherwise, you can walk, ride a bike, or using a transit to go there easier. In the end, Blue Moon Café and Karaōke is a good Chinese restaurant where you can dine in your favorite Chinese entrees. Perfect for late night dining and singing your favorite tunes all night long like Lionel Richie did back in the 1980s. A well worthy visit!

Layout /Vibe Simple layout like cafeteria style or a casual café. 6 booths which comfortably fits 4 people and 6 tables which can be connected for big parties or split into for small parties. Vibe here is casual and just sit comfortably to hangout or just grab a simple quick lunch and back to work. Food CURRYVEGETARIAN or CHICKENCREPE Mixed veggies or chicken mixed in curry sauce and wrapped in a fresh made to order crêpe. Crêpe is light and fluffy and lightly sweetened, comes with french fries and a small salad. Sometimes when i just want to eat light or feel like i need more veggies, i would consider the vegetables crêpe. It is a light dish when your not really hungry. If i am in a meaty mood, i would get the savory chicken, where the protein comes into the image. Also its a bit more filling than the veggie one. Now for the fries, they change it every once in a while. Some times the fries can be thin or the fat one. Personally i like the fatter ones because there are Potatoes in each bite. PINEAPPLEANDHAMCREPE This one has a light and refreshing island feel to it. Love the sweet and sour pineapple and the cold cut ham inside, wrapped with lettuce to give it a crisp cold texture to each bite against the freshly light and sweet warm crêpe. Also they have their own homemade white dressing which has a small hint of wasabi taste in it. PICKLEDMUSTARDGREENWITHMEATRAMENNOODLESOUP(can be customized to vegt only) One of my favorite dishes for 365 days. Filling, healthy, and light on taste. Love the light chicken broth and their ramen noodles which are always on point and are different than other ramen shops i have been to. The noodles are never soggy, and the texture is just perfect! PRESERVEDPICKLEDWITHMEATRAMENNOODLESOUP(can customize it to be vegt only) I really like this dish because they put a lot of cabbage, bean sprouts, and the preserved pickle and the ramen noodles. Just something about their ramen noodles which always make me want to order it 8 out of 10 x i come here. SIZZLINGBEEFSHORTRIBS Yes beef short ribs marinated and served on a sizzling platter with black pepper sauce which is very yummy! it comes with steam rice and pc of bro and tomato. Yes great presentation and perfect for food blogging. Great portions as well to share with another person. BAKEDPORKCHOP Big slices of pork chop on top of fried rice and baked inside the oven with tomato sauce on top and cheese! When the cheese melts on top of the tomato sauce its just amazingly cheesy good in each bite! Perfect for meat lovers! The list can go on and on… but here are some recommendations i like… Drinks I usually like coming here during lunch time, because most of the lunch specials comes with drinks and are listed below … ICEMILKTEA Milky and creamy! you can also add fresh made honey flavor tapiocas, for only 50 cents more. ICELEMONTEA Light and refreshing and does solves the thirst. The type of tea they use is lipton. I like to add tapioca balls for 50 cents more but so worth it. I love the chewy texture! BOBA Usually the boba are not ready until noon because they make it fresh everyday at 11am. Service It can be good on days that are slow. If it is decent busy then service can go downhill. I have been here when it is packed and food can take a while. The good thing is they do have wifi so i can catch up on my azn dramas while waiting for the food haha. HAPPYHOUR Yes they do have a menu for that. it starts at 2:30pm and ends at 5pm. The menu is large and you should check it out for some small bites. Overall great place to come here for lunch which is affordable. Also a great hang out spot for anytime of the day. Also they do open late at night and is great to come here for your sweet tooth cravings such as ice cream crêpe desert or egg puffs. or simply come here to sing your heart out inside the karaōke rooms which as charged per hour.

Food: — Strawberry Banana Crêpe with Vanilla ice cream: The crêpe was delicious. The fruits were fresh and tasty! 4⁄5 — Avocado Smoothie: They used avocado powder and not the real fruit. The smoothie was bland and lacked the creamy consistency I like. 2⁄5 Service: Karaōke is cheap! A small room was only $ 15 an hour. Too bad their system isn’t that good. We could hardly hear ourselves sing at first. We asked the employees if she could adjust the settings and she was able to turn the mic louder but it compromised the echo. 3⁄5 Final Thoughts: I would come back to try their other desserts. There were so many to choose from!

Finally tried this place! It’s actually not that bad. I tried the sweet crepes here — green tea ice cream crêpe and it was pretty yummy and was decorated very cute :) Came here at midnight and it wasn’t too busy for a weekday, but it’s nice that this place is opened late! It wasn’t too busy — person seated us quickly, gave us menu and water, and we ordered. Food came out fast and was yummy! Overall, place is good and I would come again for any late night cravings! They have a big menu with lots of different food/drinks and prices are average. Also, I know this place is popular for karaōke, so place can get loud. Oh, and parking lot is a bit small and cramped! But place is definitely better than Yummy Café — just drive a bit further and come here :)

Not a bad place for a midnight snack since there are only very few places to eat after 11pm. I compare this place to yummy guide café because they are similar in style of food. I like this place better because the food taste better and a different variety but it is more expensive and a smaller portion for the more expensive price. At yummy guide foods not bad, but portions are bigger and less expensive, also a lot busier and more of a Hong Kong styled menu. service is slow, but not bad. there are karaōke rooms in the back of the restaurant so there will be loud drunk customers late at night.
