Beverly Neeland

Beverly is in San Diego! I have curly hair and a LOT of it. Beverly gave me a great haircut and really great color!
I have thick hair, grey (in parts) and its curly! She did a fantastic job and took the time needed.
I could not be happier! If you need a curly hair specialist, Beverly is the best. I have been to salons in Los Angeles that «specialize in curly hair» and they can not touch Beverly’s quality and artistic ability-​she is really the best I have EVER found.

Beverly is fantastic. She recommends great products, let me know about the best possible way to dry my long curly hair, and cuts and colors as only a pro can– FANTASTICALLY.
Sadly, she has abandoned us Sacramento curlies in favor of San Diego, so unless you want to hop a flight down south, you’re out of luck!

Beverly definitely knows curly hair. She treats it as a canvas to be worked on. She will give you an education on your curls while she cuts. I started going to her in 07, and not regularly because I simply couldn’t afford the 60 dollar haircuts. I never left dissatisfied but I realized with my last cut in May that she cuts my hair the exact same way, the same style even though I never ask for the same style. My curls look great but the style feels dated. I miss the compliments that I used to receive with a new haircut, because my cuts always look the same now. So I am ready to try someone else for something fresh. Which is definitely a challenge since I have curly hair. So, would I recommend her to other curly hair clients? Yes. But, I am ready for a change.

If you have curly hair you should see Beverly Neeland. She spent so much time with me, talking to me about what I wanted, how I style my hair, products I use etc. She also gave me lots of good styling tips!
She does cut your hair dry and I was hesitant about that but I am really happy with my haircut. She checks the cut after it’s wet. She also did color and highlights which I really like.
Beverly does «Straights» too as she calls them.
If you have curly hair this is the lady to see. You won’t be disappointed!
