Love, love, love, the yellow chicken curry and pad thai was sad when they closed down but they reopened again. I hope they stay open love supporting the locals. Great food, service and good location for large grp or somewhere if you want privacy.

I had always know deep within my heart of hearts that Bee-Bee’s was living on borrowed time. To my dismay the day finally came as I stopped by today to get my lemon grass beef noodle soup fix. I will miss you dearly. Best wishes to the guy with the glasses and to the nice lady owner. RIP

This place had their hours posted for 11am to 9 pm and they were flat out CLOSED! Nothing is more frustrating than to go to a place and it be closed when they were to be open. Went here a few months back business seemed slow. So I guess they may come back or not. Either way not gonna bother anymore.

Noticed Bee Bee and decided to try since I’m always looking for a good Thai restaurant. The papaya salad and shrimp spring rolls are delicious, although the rolls’ peanut sauce was lacking. The red curry with shrimp was good but could have been spicier and with more flavor. The waiter was very friendly and service was fast(came in at 11:15 am). Didn’t have a groupon, and I’d come here again.

I’ve driven by here before. I would recommend that they get their sign hooked up to light up at night. Hard to see this place. They serve Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese cuisine. Their menu is organized by codes with letters, thing you which cuisine the item is. The menu because of how many items were listed made me think of Gordon Ramsey and how he says menus with too many items confuse customers and misdirect. Well the good was not bad, though everything was overly sweet. Fried tofu sauce was super sweet, the dipping sauce for the spring rolls and peanut sauce was like melted sugar. The pad Thai was missing some key ingredients. The only thing I can say is that as people leave the plates should be removed. When we arrived there were plates on a table and still on the table when we left. The food had no order when it came out. Goya soup was an entrée but came out with the fried tofu. Then came the spring roll, egg roll, dragon roll and then the two vermicelli and finally the pad Thai. The lighting needs to be better. Straining of the eyes.

So I really want to love this place and I know I will be back but… I think I ordered the wrong thing(insert sad face here). I had the curry noodles with salmon and the grilled salmon spring rolls and something about the salmon just didn’t taste right… to me. My mom loved the pork and shrimp over vermicelli and the service was awesome but I think I just ordered the wrong thing, le sigh. Does anyone know if this place ever gets really busy because it was nearly dead around ‘prime time’ but they seem to have been here for a while. Anyhow, I am committed to return and explore the menu, what are they known for?

I normally would not have eaten here, as Thai + Japanese + fusion sounds like a Disaster to me, but they had a groupon deal and I’ll try most anything if it’s half off. So, husband and I went here on a Sunday night. It’s across from the executive airport. There were only two other tables full when we ate, although it was early for dinner. The menu is extensive — some curry, some phở, some rice dishes, bento, sushi, pretty much everything but Chinese. I got chicken phở, my husband got a teriyaki bento and we split some gyoza. They gave us tempura sauce instead of the regular ponzu for the gyoza, but no harm there unless you’re an extreme purist. The phở was good. White meat chicken, a little heavy on the onion. Husband liked his teriyaki. I think this is the kind you go with a group when you can’t decide on a cuisine type. Are there better places? Yes. Was I happy and satisfied after my dinner here? Yes.

I came here on a Friday night and it was pretty much dead. I’m going to keep this short, because I don’t want to waste anymore time on this place than I already have. The service was decent and very friendly. The food was okay, but not spectacular(we had Vietnamese. I think the workers/owners are Thai — maybe the way to go). The environment is dark(with most of the light coming from three flat screen TVs) and not really pleasant at all. As of now, this place has 4 stars and it’s inconceivable to me. Are these people eating in the same place? Could’ve been a single star, but the friendly wait staff earned them their second star.

I absolutely love this place! The people that work here are super friendly. The food is extremely good, and it never seems all that busy, so you get great service. The food is absolutely great! I have had phó, Thai, and some of their Japanese cuisine. This food is excellent. The portions are great! Totally worth the also low price! Do yourself a favor and eat here. The mango ice cream and fried banana dessert is a great way to end a great meal!

Came here on a Sunday night at 7. First ones to walk into the restaurant and the first things you notice are that the restaurant is completely empty(though there were a few small groups that came in after us) and that the lighting is very dim for a place that doesn’t have many windows. Everyone ordered a variety of things off of the menu but I only sampled a few things from everyone else’s plates besides mine. Papaya salad: it was alright, I literally only had one piece of it. It was okay, but not something I would get again. Basil fried rice w/pork: my boyfriend got this dish and the first bite is good. The portion is huge, so it might be worth your money if yo love fried rice. This was definitely a fried rice that I’m not used to, because it was really moist and very flavorful. If I had ordered this dish(looking past my dislike for most fried rice dishes), I would have gotten tired of eating it after more than a few bites as it is so moist it borders on sticky. I might go back someday to get the garlic fried rice and share it with someone but I wouldn’t eat it by myself. Chicken teriyaki bento box: they used chicken breasts for this, and it tasted pretty good but after going through half the chicken they put in, I found it hard to continue because there is just too much salt in there for me. For the gyoza, those were good, and would have been really good if they weren’t almost rock hard from being deep fried. The vegetable and shrimp tempura was alright as well, the batter they used was much sweeter and crunchier than I’m used to(I think it kind of started to rub my tongue raw after a while too…). Last are the California rolls. Like someone else said on here in another review, it tasted just like the ones you could get at any grocery store. Overall: the food was okay because we were looking to try a new place but the hype generated for this place doesn’t match what was served to us. I have eaten at better places and this one is pretty out of the way for me to go to, though it isn’t good enough to bring me back frequently even if I were a local.

I don’t trust places that do multiple different cuisines because in my opinion quality is better than quantity. I had the garlic fried rice which was actually pretty good and I couldnt mind having again. However, the red curry was okay at best and the salmon rice bowl was gross, the salmon tasted like it has been sitting for a while and they had way too much sauce on it that just tasted bad. the pad thai was weird because it had a sweet taste to it that wasn’t normal to pad thai. The calamari appetizer sucked considering it was only a few pieces. The service was slow even though the restaurant was empty. I probably wont be back but if i had to go back i would only order the garlic fried rice.

I came here on a Saturday night with my family and when we arrived, it looked so empty. There were about 2 – 3 other families there. So we ordered a lot of items: Tom Yum soup, calamari, garlic butter fried rice, pad thai, salmon rice bowl, and a chicken rice plate. The calamari was disappointing. I rather go to another restaurant and ordered calamari. There’s only about 6 pieces and the batter wasn’t really sticking to it. It wasn’t deep that well, it wasn’t very good. I was expecting calamari like what I would get at a chain, but nopes! The tom yum soup was decent. My sister said it needed more flavor, but I thought it was flavorful enough. It’s slightly sweet and soup. It has mushrooms, tomatoes in it and I added chicken to it. The BEST dish here is the garlic butter fried rice. We all ate it up so quickly. IT’S AMAZING. The garlic and shallots bring out the flavors a lot. If I ever come back, I am getting this dish! And it’s definitely more than 2 servings as well. I didn’t really like the salmon rice bowl or the chicken rice plate. The salmon was covered with teryiaki sauce. The chicken rice plate came with eggrolls and shrimp. I didn’t like the egg rolls, I like the egg rolls better at actual Vietnamese restaurant. The shrimp was decent. Our pad thai came out last and really late for some reason. It took significantly longer than the other dishes, and we were pretty much done with everything. The pad thai is decent, and the mild has no spiciness level to it at all. I have a feeling medium wouldn’t be spicy either. I think the service is okay. The waiter does his best, and he is attentive when we need something. I saw on the website that the student gets 10% discount. So I whipped out my student ID card, and he stares at me and tells me it’s only for college students. And I was confused because I am in college. I told him, «hmmm I am in college.» The manager came out and was nice to give me a student discount just for this time, but she told me on the website, there’s a 15% coupon so if you want 10−15%, GOTOTHEWEBSITEANDPRINTTHECOUPON! The website is really horribly built, but at least, it has a coupon. The parking lot is small, but I imagine it won’t be an issue if not a lot of people show up. Side note: The receipt doesn’t say the name of the actual restaurant, it’s weird. It makes me think the owners of this place used to own Sakura Sushi… hmmm?

Got take out on a Sunday at like, 8 pm. Absolutely empty. We were literally the only people in the entire place when we walked in. Super friendly service, we were in and out with enough food for two dinners worth(for me and the husband) in 20 minutes. Everything was piping hot, well package, labeled, and delicious. I highly recommend the brown rice and yellow curry, and the egg rolls were so good I wish we had ordered more! The sushi was alright, not the best, not the worst I’ve ever had. Husband loved his bento box, and the butter garlic rice, which he ate so much of he had a tummy ache afterward… but he just couldn’t stop it was that delicious. Will be going back!

Came back a second time with the bf because we were on Freeport and hungry! The place looks tiny from the outside but has quite a few tables on the inside. Both times I’ve been here, once for dinner when it first opened and this last time during lunch a few months back, it wasn’t really busy. However, the 4 stars must mean they’re doing pretty good! We were seated right away and served miso soup. I’m not a fan of miso soup but theirs was pretty good! We ordered an eggplant dish, I forget what it was called but it was delicious! It was from the Thai menu if you’re wondering. We also ordered a sushi roll, I believe the most expensive one on the Japanese menu for $ 13.50 and it wasn’t that great. Presentation was nice but you can tell they don’t specialize in sushi. However, it’s nice to have it as an option! Which is why like Bee-Bee’s; they offer Vietnamese, Japanese AND Thai food. Even though their Japanese food has yet to prove to be worthwhile, their Thai food isn’t bad and I have yet to try their Vietnamese food but will update this review once I do!

Really really like this place. It has all you need, very affordable food & excellent service, very friendly. They have three types of cuisine, Japanese(including sushi), Thai, and Hmong. All are very authentic. Having traveled throughout SE Asia, I can attest to the authenticity of their dishes. I have been to Bee-Bee’s many times, and will go back many more. I really would like others to go here and help these guys stick it out for the long haul, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

For the location, an often passed speedy section of Freeport Blvd. across the street from the airport, I was quite surprised. I really wish this place was located on the other side of Fruitridge, closer to midtown to get more business. The menu consists of clearly marked Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese food. I tried the Garlic Butter Fried Rice, Thai BBQ Chicken, and Grilled Pork Spring Rolls. All of these were great. The chicken was nice and juicy. I will be back for more.

I came here with my family about a month ago. The place seemed a little empty at first, but after we ate it began to get busy. We didn’t wait too long before we were seated. The menu was a little too big I think. Too many things and you don’t know what to pick. I hate to say, the waitress recommended the Bento Box and only a few other things. I ordered the Bento Box and I was impressed. The slices of sashimi were thick and delicious. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it so my sister had to help me. It also came with rice, and California rolls. I would def order this again. I would come here again. It’s great they have a lot on their menu, but you don’t really know where to start since there are Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese dishes.

What a gem! This place rocked our socks off for lunch. Short version: Fresh and flavorful lunch for under $ 10. This place is a winner for getting off the grid, and for people within a dining party who have varying cuisine preferences. Longer version: This place may save your relationship. Ok, maybe just my relationship. Boyfriend always wants sushi and I always want Thai or Vietnamese food — now we can each get what we want in one place without compromising. Sure, I can order udon at a Japanese place to try to get a noodle fix, but I’d rather just eat exactly what I want. I was a little concerned that Bee-Bee’s extensive menu might be too ambitious, and the raw fish quality might fall by the wayside, since most sushi lovers seek out a sushi place for their needs. Not so! The sashimi was legit, and the prices were good. Vietnamese spring rolls were delicious, and had a solid amount of shrimp. The Thai eggplant stir fry dish was also excellent, and there is a brown rice option. Service was fast and friendly. Location is odd… I really hope they make it!

I have seen this restaurant on my way home(Grand Opening sign out front) as well as seeing the reviews here(gotta love Unilocal). Decided to give it a go. Walked in and the place was kinda dead(only one other person at a table) but soon after being seated a few other groups came in. The staff was friendly and greeted us as we walked in. Then we were handed the Menu(holy moly) it was more like a small book… lol. Lots of items to choose from, almost too many(kinda overwhelming). After some help from the waiter I decided to go with a Thai dish. As I was browsing the beer/wine list the waiter told us they didn’t have their liquor license yet so they were unable to serve us any alcohol(ugggh was really looking forward to a Thai beer to go with my meal). Anyways on to the food, we ordered the Bee Bee platter as an appetizer and all the food was good, the fried tofu was very interesting and a surprising treat. For my dish I ordered the Hot Basil with the pork. The dish was good, vegetables and meat were prepared well and were fresh. The item was marked with a little chili on the menu so I was hoping for spicy, maybe it’s just me but never really kicked in. Don’t get me wrong the flavor was good, so once I got over the lack of spice it was really enjoyable. I hope this place stays around and the traffic picks up, because I really want to try more items on the menu(this may take multiple trips considering the above mentioned size of the menu). I would have given more stars(can’t do halves or I would have given 3.5) but I’m reserving it for a second trip and the fact we were handed the beer/wine list but unable to order from it.

I was a little excited to see there was a place that had Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese food in one place, but wasn’t sure if one restaurant can do three different types of foods well. To my surprise, everything was pretty good! For Appetizers we ordered the Bee-bee platter which had fried tofu, chicken Satay, eggrolls and butterfly shrimp. We also ordered fried calamari and the mixed tempura. Everything came out piping hot and was very good. We also ordered a few sushi rolls to share and each one is pretty good, their rolls aren’t drenched in sauces and weren’t overly complicated. The menu was a little overwhelming. There’s so much to choose from! My mom and I shared a Red Curry with beef and the Thai Basil Eggplant with Chicken(with brown rice for $ 1 extra). The portions were pretty generous and both the curry and eggplant were very good! My husband ordered the Hibachi Steak and it was pretty good(I’ve had better but it definitely wasn’t bad) and was served with a very generous side of steamed veggies. My cousin ordered the Pad Thai, it didn’t look like the usual Pad Thai that i’m used to ordering, It wasn’t red/orange. It was very white, my cousin thought it was a little bland. I thought it was ok. They serve soup with their lunch menu and salad with their dinner menu. All in all I was very pleased with the food here. The flavors for the most part were very clean and simple. The service was very very good. I’m looking forward to going back and trying some more of their food! I definitely want to try their Phở! There weren’t too many people there when I was there. I really hope they do well as the people that work there are very nice and the food is pretty good. Now if they served Banh Mis as well, I’d be there all the time! (sorry i didn’t take pictures of my food, i had to use my phone to entertain my son during dinner).
