Cindi at Around the Corner Barber Shop is a great Barber. She takes the time to listen to your needs and makes sure you’re happy with your cut.

This barbershop is literally around the corner from my place and yet I somehow seemed to have missed seeing it, which may be because the building is not much larger than most bedrooms. I was on the lookout for a new barbershop as I had grown tired of my usual place, and this one came up as I searched Unilocal for barbershops in the vicinity of my zip code. I had high hopes and didn’t leave disappointed. Cindi is rad lady who is super friendly and takes pride in barbering. She does a great job and finishes it off with a shoulder massage from some industrial strength power massager, it’s awesome. She generally only does men’s haircuts but will accommodate any female that would like the same type of style. Haircuts are $ 15 and include the straight razor finish and manly smelling aftershave that I love. Oh, and she takes appointments; imagine that! I’ll be back for sure.

I walked in with no appointment and Ms Cyndi gave me the BEST haircut I’ve had in years. The entire experience was welcoming, professional, and right on! BRAVO Ms Cyndi!!! Personal and Friendly service that speaks volumes in the industry. Miss Cyndi delivers beyond expectations.

I’ve been coming here for a little over a year now, and I like it as much as any barber shop I’ve ever been to. Miss Cyndi is an expert barber who gives great haircuts and is a really nice and likable person to get to know. She even does extra special touches like a warm towel on the back of your neck, and shiatsu-​ish massage on your shoulders (with one of those thingamajigs from Brookstone). She’ll give you a glass of water and put on a movie for you to watch while you get your hair cut. She also does shaves, which not all barbers do these days. She even gave me a free shave and haircut the day before my wedding as a gift! She serves a predominantly male clientele and does as good of a job as any male barber as I’ve ever gone to. Miss Cyndi has a loyal customer in me. The only reason I ever go anywhere else is if her shop is closed or she is out of town. Oh, and did I mention that her prices are very reasonable?

I’ve been looking for a barber like Cindi for quite sometime. independent, professional, personable, reasonably priced, and expert.
