The staff are unprofessional. My bf and I paid for the app fee and the Manager was rude when she called us back. There is no security, bad neighborhood

We have lived at Arden Fair Apts for a little under two years. Moved here in Aug 2011. The apartments are VERY reasonably priced and upon searching around I doubt you will find a better complex/apartment for this price range. I think the noise level is ok(depends on which area you live in though). We live in what I think is the quietest side of the complex, it also has the most trees and greenery. PROS: Really affordable Individual Utilities bills(some places bill you by diving the building utilities… that’s a scam!) Easy access to mall Easy access to El Camino Elementary school nearby Pet Friendly(sometimes a little too pet friendly… our downstairs neighbors have 3 chihuahuas that NEVER shutup) Management is nice, fair and understanding Large bedroom(in the 1 bdrm apts) They fix issues relatively quickly(sometimes you do have to remind them) Dishwasher Card operated laundry Usually no issues in the laundry room and enough rooms that you can always get your laundry done Nice neighbors Pool Gated CONS: Lot’s of people driving by all hours of the night playing REALLY loud music. Never a lot of music or noise from the apartments themselves though. Pool has no shady areas The neighborhood is sketchy and my car was broken into(I park on the street b/c there is only 1 parking spot per apt) Our neighbors steal our parking spot A LOT! Watch out for the dude in the red truck he just parks wherever he wants! Honestly there are more PROS than CONS and for the price it’s amazing! Like I said the noise level depends on what area of the complex you live and most of the noise comes from people driving by. We will be moving on soon, but it was a decent place to be for just moving into Sacramento and not knowing much about the area. For someone starting out it’s truly a great start.
