HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Not even worth 1 star! Didn’t even eat the food we ordered. My wife’s «4 cheese mac n cheese» tasted like dried noodles that had NO cheese. My burger was greasy and didn’t even come with everything that was on the menu. Waited FOREVER for appetizers. Had to walk to the bartender to ask for utensils. Our waiter disappeared for at least 20 minutes… and it wasn’t busy AT ALL! Waiters talking about how crappy their tips are… Obviously never going again.

Well let’s start with I absolutely love Applebee’s! And so when myself and a co-​worker stopped for Applebee’s after a 20 hour work day I was excited! However for the first time ever I would have to say I was not happy!!! Let me break down what was wrong!
1. The restaurant was not busy, and were seated quickly.
2. Server finally came over and took our drink order! First off when somebody says «Is your Kiwi Tea good?» This isn’t code for saying ok one kiwi tea! And walking away! This usually means explain the kiwi tea the best you can!
3. Then orders are taken. Remember the place is empty! Why do you take 30 min to make something a busy Applebee’s can make in 20 min is beyond me! And then to bring it out wrong, and cold is not acceptable!
Suggestion: if you are not busy and food is taking time have your servers check on their customers more, have them actually listen to their customers. And realize that great customer service is what creates great tips, and repeat visits!

Me and my daughter stopped in for lunch, and the food was good but I’m really writing to compliment an employee there and I believe he’s named Ben, he’s and older gentleman and made our visit so much better. He went above and beyond for everyone he encountered. I watched him throughout our lunch running, helping, doing a little bit of everything that needed to be done in the restaurant without hesitation. Applebees is lucky to have an employee with such a great work ethic and I hope he get the recognition he deserves.

RUDE. I just called to get carside to go. I wanted to order an oriental chicken roll up. Unfortunately, I was unaware this is no longer a menu item. The girl who was going to take my order could not have been much more rude. She literally argued with me about whether or not they’ve ever had the oriental chicken roll up roll up on their menu. I asked to talk to a manager. Keith got on the phone, and was a bit better, but still I was not blown away by his customer service.
As a side note, I ordered carside to go about a month ago, and attempted to order the chicken roll up, with extra teriyaki sauce. When I got home, opened my bag, I was given a salad, with extra dressing. Not AT ALL what I ordered.
Long story short, I won’t be back. Between the rude girl, terrible customer service, and inability to make an order correct, I’ll take my business elsewhere… I think Applebee’s corporate needs a call in the morning, too… hopefully this is not how they allow their customers to be treated.

A Variety of things to eat from steaks to salads to ribs and more. Usually clean although this time there were black specs/​particles in my drink. Check your water before drinking it because who knows what could be in there.

So I am not a huge Applebees fan but my mother in law wanted to eat here for her birthday dinner. No problem. Ill find something on the menu. This is what I ate, tried, stole off people’s plates and scavenged.
#1 — Triple Hog Dare You, this sandwich had pulled pork/​bacon/​ham with melted cheddar and not a single spec of veggy. Kind of greasy as you can imagine with so much pig. But pretty good once dipped in a side of bbq sauce. I just looked at the menu and it was suppose to have fried onion strings on it. Damn you for not adding more grease!!!
#2 — My wife got the wonton tacos. I basically ate everything that fell out. Chicken was good and the sauce was fun.
#3 — My daughter got full so I ate her last kids menu slider. No I didnt steal it from her! She was full! Lol. Put some ketchup on it, not bad.
#4 — Fries were pretty good, had tons of seasoning. Drank a ton of water that night because I had so much salt in me.
#5 — Oreo cookie shake. Need I say more? Good times!
#6 — Side salad with ranch. Almost forgot to mention this. Veggies!!! Good lil salad. Chopped cucumbers, tomaters, cheese, croutons and dark green romaine type of lettuce. Not worth the 4.59 price tag but still good.
My group was happy. We left in a sloppy mess of full.

Came into a very not busy restaurant. Got seated off away from everyone. Server finally after 10 mins comes over and says «oh I didn’t see you». No apology. Still no silverware or drinks. If we weren’t starving we would have left already.

Their happy hour appetizers are actually pretty good! The wonton tacos are delicious! I had myself two orders and was very pleased!
My buddies ordered a couple Tokyo Teas and they weren’t made very well. This was disappointing because thats a very easy drink to make. I only know this because I’m a bartender ;). We couldn’t even taste the alcohol.
But other than that my experience there was average.

Perfect Margarita is the best thing they got in regards to adult libations. I’m huge on food coming out pipping hot and this place need improvement in that area. The little cute nerdy waitress or bartender with the black hair and glasses gives good customer service. 2 for $ 25 all day.

Outstanding service from Elie. I was hesitant to visit because of some of the other reviews. I am so glad that I took a chance. The service and my order were perfect. Will definitely be going back again and again during my stay here in Sacramento.

This restaurant sucks. I was here for a birthday dinner celebration and the service was very very slow. For a party of 9 or more people you would think that you get more service.
The food was not good at all. We ordered the full rack of ribs chipotle flavor. It came with fries and a spoon full of Cole slaw. The ribs were dry and not even hot. I ate two pieces and boxed the order to go. The flavor was not there. I also ordered the taco that was delicious. That’s why this place gets one star because of the chicken taco. The alcoholic drinks were like juice… no alcohol at all. Talk about overpriced.
The bar like how I remember it was missing different drinks. It is not a full bar they don’t have all the ingredients to make certain drinks. We ordered fireball shots and they were suppose to be double shot for a $ 1 more, but when he brought us the shots it looked exactly like a single shot and charged us for a double.

My husband and I came here for dinner and we were seated as soon as we got there. However, we waited for 30 minutes and no server acknowledged us we decided to leave and go to BJ’s instead. The hostess was kind enough to try to get a server for us but we had no luck. Never coming back again.

Shady shady shady!!! They need to change the name from Apple Bee’s to Apple shitty sauce! Man i cant get this thing right with the customer service. Do we look to hood or do we look to broke that when we sit to eat we get neglected while every ones else gets tend to like royalty.
Out waiter’s name was Aramando dude seemed koo at first but after he took our order he took off and never came back. We had to walk to the counter for refills we were able to snag dude to order some more drinks just so he could come back 10 minutes later and say «oh what was that drink u wanted i totally forgot» smh Armando do ur job bruh!!! We ordered some fries, chips wit artichoke spinach dip which was watery and nasty, and some wings. The food was mediocre nothing special a bout it at all!
I wont be coming back here it really sucks cuz u know when ur going out and ur in a good mood and u just want to have fun but it gets ruined because some one doesn’t like doing their job or is good at it so it ruins ur fun. Thats how i felt. Hella sucked. If you guys here make sure i get a better waiter do not i mean do not settle for Armando ur night might get spoiled.

I really hate that I couldn’t give this place a five star. The food was really good & came out hot. The menus were a little dirty along with the seats. The waiter was very nice but slow, but what the heck as long as my order was correct, no big fuss. Overall the service was mediocre and the restaurant is nice is size.

FYI I usually don’t waste my precious time reporting on such places like Applebees. But here we go… For some reason I had a hankering to try the brunch burger down at my local Applebees. I’m sure its due to the commercial appeal of it all. The idea of a brunch burger was a grand one. But I will give the execution of my burger a thumbs down. The milkshake was good I’m still paying four days later. I will not be returning for the brunch burger. Great idea tho

Had the most immaculate experience with my wives… Yes, WIVES with an S. LOL! You girls know who you are, Dominique & Bridget…
Upon walking in, we just sat ourselves in basically from what I remembered. It was a slow Wednesday night at approx 930ish pm or so, we came here starving after watching «The Martian» next door at Regal.
The venue wasn’t crowded. So we basically had an ok service. Music was really low, wasn’t loud enough though. But comfortable enough to hold a convo with out saying, «Can you repeat that? Huh!» And literally just missed the Backstreet Boys «I Want It That Way» playing in the background…
Happy hour will forever be the best hour to come in on a late night! What more can you ask more to save $$ on appetizers and drinks to munch on and gulp on for the night at an affordable prize without paying retail…
Other than that, Applebees is just like any Applebees nationwide. They have the self serve robot menu thing which I didn’t use, because I prefer human interaction when making my order. Plus the servers are there for a reason! Use them wisely, but dont abuse them and being toooooooo needy. «Ahem, do you guys have tapatio or cholula sauce.!?»

Applebee’s is easy to find and a perfect location to have a quick lunch. The food can be over the top unhealthy. But the heart healthy family favorites, with dressing on the side can work for the lean eater.
The game is on the background and people are comfortable at the bar for a drink. I usually have a good experience at Applebees but I find it to be sticky and dusty. I limit my visits but used to go here a lot with groups of friends. It was fun back in the day.

Got with two extra dressings on the side… Never going back! By the way the salad already came with dressing! Was a waste of time and money. Don’t order to go:-/

I came for happy hour with my boy, when we were seated the server asked us if we wanted anything to drink, we ordered jack and coke, he also brought out waters for us without us asking. This location is located in a huge plaza that has a Walmart, Home Depot, etc. However at night 11pm or so it’s not that packed on a weeknight. There are limited drinks but the drinks were good something to keep an eye out for is Monday nights it’s guys night, which is basically 6 $ for a pitcher of domestic beer (bud light, Budweiser, coors) the import beers are the same price like $ 14 a pitcher. Oh and the burger they advertise for Monday nights (guys nights) looks delicious.
I ordered the boneless buffalo wings, and the tacos from the happy hour menu, both pictures are attached.
The buffalo wings were absolutely delicious and comes with a side of celery and carrots. The tacos, oh man you gotta try these, are the sweetest and easiest taco to eat and you get 4 of these.
Me and my buddy also ordered a yagger bomb, a tip to know is that pour the red bull into the shot of yagger already for you. And a side of extra can of red bull is $ 3.
