Alder Creek Millwork did my kitchen cabinets in 2010, and I was tremendously pleased with their work. Everything was custom-designed for my space, and Robert Grossman gave me many creative and useful ideas during the planning. I was able to choose from a variety of cabinet styles(including a simple Shaker one that perfectly suited my Craftsman style kitchen) and a variety of genuine woods.(Cherry would have been oh so nice, but alder stained in a cherry color was better suited to my budget, and has proved to be very durable.) Everything was prepared in advance and the workmen installed it in a jiffy. As with many building projects, there was one unexpected glitch(fitting the window frames) but it was corrected quickly and with minimal hassle. The kitchen looks so classy now– and the fee for this work was remarkably affordable: well below the bid I got from Lowe’s for this project. I am very satisfied with Alder Creek Millwork and would definitely use them again for any cabinetry needs.

Do not use this contractor unless you’re prepared to be told, «You get what you pay for» by the sales manager. Seriously bush league. Their«mill» appears to have difficulty with right angles. Their crew damaged the cabinets during installation. The paint layer is so thin that the merest bump causes chipping. And it’s not as if you’ll get high quality materials. Particle board and MDF with cabinet-grade plywood on the face only. Finally, they were at least 30 minutes late for every appointment. Not okay.
