Whenever i go here, I always order their Carne asada fries! Recently just went here this weekend & order their carne asada fries, I was surprised at the portion I got. It was so much, I was really satisfied. Love eating the fries with their sauce. So delicious :) only thing I dislike is the wait & that they don’t really have good customer service.

I hate not bringing lunch to work! When i dont bring lunch i just come across the street to adalbertos and roll the dice, it might be good it might be bad i might get exploding diarrhea i might not its always a gamble! Today i crapped out, wait dont think i shitted my self i meant it in a way that today was not good when i rolled the dice. Normally i stick to getting the chicken burrito cuz it normally good but today it was way to salty i guess the cook wanted to give every one high blood pressure. The meat ratio on the burrito was about 35% meat and 65% tortilla like for real for real. But i come here cuz it close to work and is not like i do it all the time man i think im bout to crap out again smh gotta go!!!

One word I have for their super carne asada burrito, DISGUSTING! Came here a hour ago to order the burrito for my boyfriend and when he took his first two bites he noticed that there was not enough steak and tons of rice!!! Such a disappointment! Haven’t been here for the longest and thought I’ll give them another try but I was dead wrong! never again! Please don’t waste your money like I did because the burrito was tossed out! It did not taste right with just a bunch of rice and their pico de gallo!

This place is probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Disgusting carne Asada. I didn’t even finish my food. That wasn’t meat. Made me take a break from Mexican food for a while. Never again. Not to mention I felt sick to my stomach all evening after eating there.

Had to stop here with the husband and we got our regular order of California burritos and rolled taquitos. Both were flavorful and a perfect combination to cure a hangover. French fries inside were crispy and the right amount of greasy. I can’t wait to come back and have the famous steak fries when I have cheat meal next week. Fast service in the drive thru. I only do the drive thru the heat and smell would be unbearable to seat inside.

Has been my go to spot for years and years. Classic #24 burrito is my favorite. Cali burrito is great. Anything with steak here. Compared to Carolinas, the steak has a much better flavor to it. Adobada is also a favorite here. Rather it be drunk Friday nites or a work day lunch break, Adalbertos always hits the spot.

I like their Carne Asada Fries but their burritos are questionable. Because it’s a 24 hour fast food restaurant they have food that has been sitting in a heater for long amou ts of time, I’m specifically talking abojt their rice here. It tasted like it had been in a steamer all night. The rice was all mushy, not the texture I’d like in a burrito. Their fries are always made right when you order them. Thus their California Burritos are pretty good also. It’s a great place to go after having a couple beers and you have the munchies while all the other places are closed.

What can I say about Adalbertos? Well, I just want to give this place a try since it is right by my place. I did not get the carne asada fries. I know I should, but I don’t want a heart attack yet. Went through the drive-thru and ordered the California burrito and a large horchata. Could barely hear what the guy was saying and he spoke very fast. Didn’t even know what was my total or he didn’t even mention anything about how much my total was. Off that bat, I know that my experience wasn’t going to be good. I’m just hoping the food would be at least decent. Pay the guy and left. He wasn’t the nicest guy to say the least. Not sure if he was having a bad day or it’s the way he is. He needs to work on his communication skills. Got home and see what I just got myself into. I didn’t really care because I was pretty much starving at that moment. The burrito was mediocre. The cheese was towards the top and not with the meat. My overall experience is just meh. Maybe I should have gotten the carne asada fries everyone was talking about, but it’s likely I’m not going back. Not my cup of tea. Love Mexican food, but not from Adalbertos.

I’m from SoCal and I’ve tasted plenty of Mexican food to know the difference. Mexican food is known to be rich in flavor, bursting with different spices. I don’t know why the Mexican food here at Adalbertos was not rich in taste! It was not up to par with the mexican food trucks and restaurants I’ve tried in SoCal. My Mexican friends said the same thing. Ive tried two different things on the menu, hoping my first experience was just a one time thing. Then I came back and tried something else with my cousin when she came down from LA. She said the same thing as I was thinking. We tried their carne asada fries, beef burrito, and California burrito. They were all disappointments.

Love the fact that they are 24hrs. After a night out, nothing beats their carne asada fries, chicken supreme nachos, or their chips and salsa. Use the drive thru because if you go inside you may think twice about ordering.

After working a 16 hr shift sometimes you just need to inhale some greasy cheesy chorizo! I mean that as a total complement! I’m from southern Cali and it’s been so hard finding good Chorizo in the Elk Grove Area. But i finally ventured out to Sacramento and found this beautifully dirty place. Again that’s a compliment. Yea it looks a little sketchy but that’s ok with me. I’ve been here twice and I’ve not been disappointed. There’s never a line in the early morning(around 8am) Both times I’ve ordered the #27 chorizo plate that includes rice and beans. And I added extra cheese. Which was $ 1 but whatever. I don’t have any complaints except I wish they used actual hashbrowns instead of fries. Moral of the story it was delicious and I will be returning.

I would imagine the feeling of visiting a prostitute is similar to the feeling I get about Adalbertaco’s: kinda nervous about visiting because it’s in a shady area, but it’s cheap and it’s easy. When you’re done, you’re super satisfied… and then the next morning you’re kinda sorta disgusted with yourself. Adalbertaco’s(important to note that’s what the sign says outside, not Adalberto’s, which has always remained a mystery to me) is THE spot for late night 2am munchie cravings if you just HAVE to have a grossly delicious, dripping-with-grease burrito gutbomb, as the drive-thru is open 24⁄7. The area itself is pretty sketchy, and we frequently find ourselves rolling up the windows in the drive-thru to avoid the randoms that like to meander through the back alley yelling at the sky. Inside the restaurant is pretty tiny; not super ventilated; and the chairs are janky & weird so we tend to just stick with grabbing our food to go. There is one thing we can always count on when visiting Adalbertaco’s: a relatively long wait for food, whether inside or to-go, especially if you’re doing drive-thru. Expect to turn your car off and put it in park because you WILL be there for a minute, regardless if there are other customers or not. But the food, ohhh the food. I have eliminated most fast food from my diet, but this is my one«cheat» fast food place I can always count on for a treat. It is the closest to authentic Mexican food it can be for a fast food place; I would recommend it to anybody who loves Mexican food & doesn’t mind blowing their diet out of the water. The California burrito with potatoes is favorite of my husband’s, with the carne asada burrito being mine. The burritos are GINORMOUS and I can never finish an entire one in one sitting. If you get sour cream or any other sauce, expect a steady stream of liquid to run out of your burrito or taco as you eat. They are always packed to the brim with meat & produce though, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The carne asada always seems to be a little salty for my taste, so I have switched to mostly ordering the Mexican chips with cheese & salsa, which is a HUGE serving of crispy tortilla chips with pico de gallo and melted cheddar cheese. Really delicious. Like, get in my mouthhole right now delicious. The horchata is really good for a sweet treat. The fish tacos are kind of so-so; I’ve had better fish tacos other places. I am sure there is some kind of joke in there somewhere. Your stomach will probably not like you the next morning, just FYI. Proceed with caution if you plan on gorging yourself. Overall I give this place 3 stars. The customer service could improve a little bit(for instance, it’s really unnerving when they take your credit card at the drive-thru, because they will take it and seriously leave the window with it forever; also ordering at the drive-thru is really difficult to understand & hear due to the busted old equipment they are using, and you have to repeat everything 10 times, and you never know when to pull forward because they don’t tell you… it’s so awkward), and it could be cleaner inside(flies a lot of the time, uncomfortable seating, dirty tables, etc.), but it’s one of those places that you just hate to love so much. I’d recommend it to anybody, especially gluttons like me who love going to town on some cheap, greasy Mexican food once in a while.

Here’s a tip: Carne Asada Fries will be the best bang for your buck. The reason being is because they«have» to use only steak and potatoes to fill the plate, so you won’t be cheated out of the cash you are paying. Get it with a side of sour cream/guac, and you are good to go! The«California Burrito» is their iconic specialty and comes packed with steak and potatoes wrapped in a huge tortilla. If you want only meat, get their Carne Asada version. The«Super Burrito» which is their most expensive one, is the WORST. Do not get this unless you want to pay the most for the least amount of expensive ingredients. The only thing the Super Burrito has over the others, is that they pack more ingredients: rice/beans/salsa…but they also overdo it. It’s basically a giant rice burrito. The hot sauce they have is also damn good. If you love spicy food, you will love their hot sauce. I’m giving this restaurant a 5⁄5 for being a delicious hole in the wall. It’s also open 24⁄7 and is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in town.

The good: — open 24⁄7 — large portions — friendly service — tons of options — for the most part very tasty(every place has a down day) The not so good: — the wait can be long in the evening — food can be a little rough on the stomach — the cheese is never melted in the cheese enchiladas(which is what I normally get); and because they put the lettuce on top, I have to scrape of the lettuce throw the food in the microwave to melt the cheese and then put the lettuce back on top — it can be hard to order through the drive-thru; partly because it’s old and then because of the language barrier

Don’t go here after 8 pm unless you want mud butt’s and yack attacks for the next 3 days. I Think they left their cheese out for way to long or something but myself and the bf had to learn the hard way after getting food poising here. ugh…and to think this was a go to spot for a good minute for those late night drunk /medicated cravings.

An extra star for being open all the time. If you ever need some delicious, heart-stopping mexican food for cheap, this is the place to go in my area. Get the carne asada fries or the CA burrito for maximum pleasure. Also, use the drive-through. Its slow and its hard to understand through the speaker, but its part of the experience. Its also better than standing in the dining room, which feels a little greasy. Nothing wrong with that, because that equals deliciousness, but you will feel better when you get home if you just stay in your car.

Ok when you come here and after you take forever just to order 1 meal because they cant understand english in the drive through they never tell you how much it is so you can have your money ready which is unprofessional in my books. Also they use cheap ingredients and they stuff most of their california burritos with fries and cheese so they dont put in too much meat. I usually dont expect much from cheap foods but since I have tried better Adalbertos from different locations this is by far the worse and can do better.

Adalbertos is opened 24 hours, which is the amazing! This means you can get late night snack at ANY hour of the night. So I usually come here with my friends when it’s late and we want a snack. The best thing here is their nachos. I always get their carne asade nachos with both guac and sour cream. It’s made fresh, and it’s super greasy and oily. I have tried their California burrito, but I wasn’t particularly against or for it. I do like Oscar’s California burrito better, I think it’s because Oscars have tomatoes in it — so much better! Usually, I don’t have a problem with Adalbertos but the other day, I was in my car for about 2 minutes waiting for the drive-through. I always go through the drive-thru to get my food, I have never stopped to go in the restaurant. Summary: –Get the nachos and make sure they give you the sauce. Yum! –The jalapenos seemed weird to me… it isn’t my thing. They weren’t sliced jalapenos. :(
