i came here for a hair cut and color because my previous color was too uneven… i was scared for a drastic change but the result is awesome! the color is what i wanted and the cut was awesome! the hairdresser convinced me that i should cut off my dead ends as I was hesitant at first because i wanted to grow my hair out. but i love the result! love how my hair have movement now :) sometimes you should listen to and trust professionals!

I got my hair dyed recently and I brought a friend as she needed to get a hair cut to and well now she loves her hair. I liked the business here, as it didn’t take too long and I love the color that my hair is at since my last hair color had faded off way too much.

I just had my hair cut. The lady was so talkative with her other clients before me. When I got to cut my hair, I told her how I would like it. She kept telling me no you should cut it like this. I’m so upset because she mess up on my bangs. I said I want side bangs, a little thicker since I always had it and if my hair grows out I don’t have them. She doesn’t even cut it right. She just layer my hair. The isshhh is that. I’m never going here again. You mess up my bangs the most important part. For that price, I should of went somewhere else.

Oh my freaking God! This place gives one of the worst haircut EVER! Do not let the sister fool you by telling you that she knows what the hell she’s doing, and that she’s been doing it for over 20 years. Those are all freaking lies! Just shut up and focus on gaining your skill, sister! Point here is, do not go THERE! The sister will mess your hair up BIG TIME and make you feel miserable for the next two weeks! Nobody goes to get a haircut to look normal after two weeks OK, sister!

Worse haircut I got in my life. I told GiGi not too short because I don’t want a short cut. I specifically said that and she said she’ll cut a bit to see how I like the length. She then goes ahead and snipped half of my hair away. That’s not the worse, she snipped my bangs to the point where I dont think it could get any shorter. Seriously this is how she cuts a little to see if I like it? Uhh please continue snipping until my bangs are gone (sarcasm)… Now every time I look in the mirror, I’m annoyed. Never coming back again.

This is the best place for a haircut out of anywhere in California I’ve been to. I used to drive an hour here with a friend just for haircuts. They really know how to cut hair (especially asian ppl’s hair) unlike places in the Bay Area.

I came here after a referral from my best friend. The salon is owned by my friend’s mom and two aunts. They’re Chinese, and super friendly. I got my hair cut by Gigi, and immediately she knew that I was unhappy with my cut from before. She said that my right side was heavier than my left bc there was more hair there and the layers weren’t cut evenly. She seemed very professional and knew what she was talking about. She originally came from working in Hong Kong, and then went to beauty school here in Sacramento. After obtaining her license, she opened up this shop with her two sisters. She’s all about customer service, and making sure the hair cut looks good before letting you go. Perfectionist, and that is a good quality to have at least in my perspective.
Cutting my hair took about 25 – 30 minutes. And I definitely happy with my new bangs and hair cut. Price is decent compared to the professional salons in downtown. This place was $ 20 for a haircut. She is now my GO-​TO for hair :)

I don’t think I’m ever going to go back to the salon I’ve been going to all my life. I have been really unhappy about how my hair looks, so I was recommended this salon. Gigi looked at my hair and she automatically knew what was wrong with it. The right side of my hair was longer than the left side and also my layers were not cut nicely. Gigi definitely took her time fixing my hair. I like how she only uses scissors and not the razor. She also straightens your hair. While getting my haircut, I learned so many things. About how to wash hair and skin care too. Haircuts are $ 9 and up. I believe mine was $ 15, but I’m really happy with the results.
If you want to try this place, call and tell Gigi when you’re going so she can be there. She is the only one working, but there is an extra person if she needs them. She has two kids, so she’s busy with them too.
