I feel scammed. We called them to check out our backyard garden for pests — they did that. They also«collected a specimen» of a spider to test in their lab(really???) and called with the results — it was a «common garden spider.» I wouldn’t be writing this review if the saga ended there. After that visit they decided to stop by every two months(actually I think it was every few weeks even though the bills said they put us on 6 x year service) and apparently would ring our door bell — if there was no answer they would take out their bug spray and spray the tiny(I mean microscopic) patch of ivy next to our locked front gate. Then they leave a bill for $ 92 in our mail slot. FINALLY I got around to cancelling the service this morning but not before several hundred in worthless ‘service.’ Be very, very careful with Orkin. Call a company if you have a real issue with pests but under no circumstances allow then to come back out. Be very clear it is a one time call. When I called to cancel they were very nice but after saying she would cancel the bill that was just left the receptionist told me that in exchange she will send someone out to properly treat our full back yard — no thanks!

The first technician who conducted the initial visit showed up 2 minutes AFTER the two-hour window. There were many miscommunications with the Orkin reps on the phone that didn’t match what actually transpired with the techs who visited. On the second visit, the technician cancelled right before the two hour window was up. Options to reschedule were poorly communicated and included me leaving a key for them to come in while I wasn’t there(ahem, for someone who I’ve never met to come into my house while I’m gone). Meanwhile, when I called to voice my frustration, nothing was offered to make me a happier customer except looking at calendars and trying to find the next window for a technician to visit(which let’s be honest, could result in them being late again and/or canceling if we go by the pattern established). I would never hire Orkin again or recommend them to anyone. A waste of my time and really poor customer service.

I knew more about ants than the«expert» they sent out. When the ants were still there two weeks later, they said they would send a «manager“out. They sent the same guy and he was a half hour late!
