Almost perfect. I had a dress hemmed but it was ever so slightly uneven. I don’t think anyone would have noticed except me but, well, it’s mine so that matters. But it was a one time thing and the few other things I’ve brought here were with zero complaint.

I needed a bridesmaid dress altered within weeks of the wedding. They were able to have my dressed altered within two weeks. I had quite a bit done and Blanca did a wonderful job of hemming, letting out, and adding a sleeve that didn’t have a bodice built in.
I docked a star because I did go in on a set date to get fitted but because it was a holiday weekend, they had me come in the next day since the dress wasn’t ready. A phone call letting me know that it wasn’t ready would have been helpful so that I wouldn’t have to make the extra trip.
Otherwise, the price was reasonable for the expedited work, for all that needed to get done, and the quality of the dress. They were great!

Dropped clothes off on a Thursday and asked that the repairs be finished by the next Friday, so I could pick them up the following day, my last in town before moving. The quoted prices seemed high — $ 25 to patch up the middle seam of a pair of jean shorts, $ 18 for a tiny hole in the back of a vintage dress — but based on the reviews here, I thought the work might be worth it. Showed up that Saturday to pick up the clothes, and the shop had forgotten to do the repairs. The woman was very nice about the mix-​up and offered to fix them that day, but I didn’t have time. Saved me $ 43, I guess, but it was disappointing to go all the way to the shop and not have the holes patched.

I took my wedding dress and two bridesmaids dresses here to be altered. I’m very picky about a job well done and Eva and Blanca did a wonderful job assuring me that everything would come out to be beautiful– and all three of them most definitely did!!! Their pricing is expensive, BUT I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I needed my wedding dress to be in good hands… So, by all means, it was worth the extra money to get everything done correctly. Eva is so sweet and personable with her customers. I will most definitely be back to see Eva with my next clothing project!

The best tailors around. In response to another review complaining about prices. I’ve had shirts fully altered (taken in, sleeves shortened, sleeves also taken in) for $ 50. And the work was perfect and well worth it.

Pins and Needles is the place to go for your dry cleaning and tailoring needs. Eva’s work is impeccable and I would not trust my suits to be tailored anywhere else. Their work is high quality and always reflective of current fashion trends whether it be in the office or out on the town. She makes sure you look good! Customer service is amazing, time and time again goes out of her way to get work done and you in clothes in time for big event.

Very friendly, accommodating staff. It’s always a pleasure to come in — I look forward to it. I’ve had alterations and dry cleaning done here several times and everything has come out excellent. Their hours are good. The prices are comparable and fair. The location is very convenient. I moved 8 miles away and still come back here for my dry cleaning and alterations.

The staff are friendly and reasonably competent, but Pins & Needles pricing is exorbitant. Paying $ 75 to alter a shirt, or $ 120 for a jacket, I would expect it to be done perfectly and quickly. P&N has given me middling quality, slow work, and no offer of delivery. I won’t be back.

The staff here are very friendly and pulled off a miracle for me and my brother. My brother’s wedding was coming up fast and we ran into an issue with getting our suits shipped. We ended up getting the suits on a Friday, and requested they be altered by the following Wednesday. Understanding this was very short turnaround, they were still able to do it with no problems.
The quality of work could not have been better. Since my brother was getting married, I wanted him to look perfect. After the alterations, the suit looked great on him and fit him well. The suit was considered to be «slim fit», but the amount of work they had to do to make it actually fit him like it should was a lot… and well worth it.
I will be bringing all my future alteration needs here for sure, and recommend you do so as well.

Eva is a wonderful seamstress. We took my wife’s bridesmaids dress to her and she was able to make the correct adjustments. She even dropped it off to our home after hours in the evening since we needed it the next day prior to leaving for a wedding. She also fixed a pair of suit pants last minute. Eva did a great job — I highly recommend her.

They make you feel like a regular very quickly and always have done an excellent job on my clothing. The team at P&N are super friendly and quick to assist. I make a weekly trip here and imagine that I will continue doing so for the forseeable future.

Brought three pairs of pants in and had a great experience. Welcomed by staff and hem was perfect. Even though is is Rye, the prices were a bit high, it was like buying the pants all over. I will be shopping around for another tailor in the area.

5 Stars!!! It is super friendly, warm and welcoming. Great Customer Service. Not to mention they do an awesome job with my laundry every single time. They are also great with my dry cleaning and even with alterations. Plus they are open from like 7 to 6 pm, except sundays, you really cant beat that.
Trust you’ ll love them too!
