In defense of the Virginia Bazaar… it was awesome 10 years ago. I am a strong supporter of small local businesses so I hesitate to criticize. Just visited this morning and it’s flat out awful. The worst of the worst of flea market trash. 1 star is generous. Some of the merchandise you see you have to wonder who on earth would actually buy this stuff. Probably explains why you see so much of it on display… It doesn’t sell. There were 3 or 4 quality specialty vendors(trains, antiques, toys) but beyond that don’t waste your time. Such a disappointment. There were only three outside vendors. I remember when there were over 100 For the other reviewer who mentioned that the inside has coveted spaces… what I saw was almost half of the spaces were vacant. Perhaps this flea market is now more seasonal and does better in the spring summer and fall. If my review is off-base please correct me as I would love to see this place become what it once was.

As far as flea markets go for a vendor, this place is pretty good. To get a coveted inside spot you, of course, pay a premium but you must also register in advance and have a business license from Caroline county(even if you are licensed elsewhere already). A good mix of random people selling their stuff outside and Vendors inside.

Have been wanting to come here for ever! Not even kidding. Drive by it every so often and remind myself that«oh man! when I was a kid I loved these things. «Well guess who, finally woke up early and made it there?!? Me!!! Walked around outside only about 2 tents up. Old stuff nothing popping out at ya. Go inside and not even 4 feet in the door. We are asked to go put our concealed carry in our car. Flat out«hey, can you go put that in your car. Our older folks don’t appreciate that around here.» That’s ok buddy. I’ll just leave, rather give my money and time to someone who would like us around. As always. Keep calm and carry on.
