Plaza Cafe

The floor and tables are very dirty, we had to wipe our tables and chairs. The staff seemed very apathetic and disinterested in their jobs and the customers. Food was bland with the exception of the waffle fries.

We were really really hungry by the time we arrived at the zoo having skipped breakfast to make up some time. This is the first concession you’ll hit after you’ve entered the zoo and I’d advise passing it and the rest of them by unless you *must have* food!
Refreshing yourself at a park is always an expensive affair and this restaurant is no different even if supporting a noble cause. I tried keeping that in mind as I munched on $ 8.50 worth of extremely salty seasoned fries (didn’t finish half of them) and 3 thinly battered chicken tenders that obviously once lived in a freezer. SO said the turkey club was adequate but the combo included fries were pretty good and, having tried one of mine, not nearly as enthusiastically salted. Sandwich combo and chicken strips together were over $ 17.

Well we went with my family and the everyone enjoyed a pizza. Was surprised at the size for being «zoo food». There are different things to eat here so it is all up to the person that is hungry.

Nasty nasty nasty. One guy was playing in the ice with his bare hands and then put the piece of ice back in the tray with the rest of the ice. The guy on cotton candy duty played in his ears with his ear buds while rolling some unlucky persons bag of cotton candy. No leadship nor supervision of workers. Sloppy cashier as she ate her burger on the line by the soda machine.
