These property managers are better to deal with than any of my old landlords, but that doesn’t say much since I live in Providence. I moved into my place almost a year ago. It’s a small place, but it’s quite nice and the rent is very fair. During the initial walkthrough we noticed some things that needed to be fixed, which they did right away and they were all set by the time we moved in. However, there were other things we noticed that were broken shortly after moving in and called right away, but many of those things have STILL not been fixed… 11 months later! Many of our windows do not open at all, and many of those that do open don’t have screens so we can’t leave them open without getting bugs in the apartment. One of the burners is out on the stove and hasn’t worked since the day we moved in. We reported a mold problem in the bathroom soon after moving in, and it took them until very recently to make an attempt to remedy it. They DO come very quickly in the case of an emergency though. Anything with the plumbing, electricity or refrigerator is dealt with right away. They’re kind of weird with answering the phone and calling back. Sometimes you call and it will ring and ring and no one will answer. And when they call to finally take care of something, it’s the middle of the day so I’m at work and can’t answer. Then I call back and it rings and rings. A few times they’ve called me back instead of my roommate when he’s the one trying to set up to get something fixed, and it’s gotten über confusing. I really don’t think I would rent a property that’s managed by this company ever again.
