Cool atmosphere. Beers were just ok. It seems like they have an over abundance of farmhouse style beers. It was kind of narrow on the flavor varieties.

Working on my quest to hit all of the local breweries brought me to Stickman’s. The happy hour special is 25% off your order. There is a small selection of sandiches and fries available to purchase on the Wednesday afternoon I stopped by. There are no TV’s so you can’t catch a game while drinking but this was designed by the owners to make the bar more of a social scene so you interact with the other patrons with card games and 2 dart boards. I was not a fan of the style of the beers made but everyone has different styles. If you are nearby, give it a try and see if you fall in love.

How this place was not more crowded when I went I could not possibly comprehend, which was on a Friday between 5 and 630. When you first walk in the thought is. wow this is dark. but that can work, and does, for this location. The people behind the bar could not be more friendly if they tried. I even saw one of the bartenders go and chat with a couple at a table that had a baby with them. You definitely do not see this at any of the other local breweries. They were really pushing their«Beer From a Farm» beer, which they touted as their flagship beer. It was solid, although not my favorite one on the list. I did have a flight and a full pour of another beer. In an area that boasts Sly Fox, Stable 12, Iron Hill, I say make this for your first stop. Every beer was great, especially if you are already a belgian fan. This place should really be more full than it was, and i would love to see them come up with a full menu. The food that was coming out looked tasty and was quick! Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been here three times since it opened, once to get the special white-waxed bottle of Valentine’s Day ale, which was great. The venue is big, open, and a bit cold, but not in a negative way. There are ample tables and bar space. The beer is very good, 8 – 12 selections of very well made beers, ranging from abbey ales to sours to stouts. The prices on the beers are a bit high at this point, making growlers hard to justify based upon comparative prices at other local watering holes. The food is in its infancy stages, and I get that, and the food trucks are a great idea, but I’d love to see a fuller menu eventually. I’ve enjoyed myself here, and will update this rating as need be. I hope to see these guys reach new heights of success.

We went on a Sunday for dinner and a beer. Grilled cheese was very good, not greasy. French fries were really good too. We had a flight of four beers and they were all really good. Staff was very friendly and laid back, but you could tell they really cared. I like that. We’re definitely going back. Loved the atmosphere.

Excelent new micro brewery right in our neighborhood. The beers are crisp, unique and«to style» all at the same time! WTH??? They’ve got mussels on the food menu tonight. I’ll review after I eat. CHEERS!

Delicious, thoughtful beers far from the cookie cutter brewpubs that seem to be popping up in every town. Killer sour beers, farmhouse & Belgians. Staff couldn’t be friendlier. Stickman is going places.

Excellent beer, great atmosphere. Ethan really knows what he’s doing here. The Crushing Student Debt is amazing. It’s a double Belgian brown(8%). There’s usually a food truck on the weekends, though now they have hotdogs and brats inside that are pretty good too. Every table has Jenga and cards against humanity or saddle up to their sweet concrete bar. They are currently sold out of bottles but still have 8 beers on tap of different varieties, something for everybody. Love this place, stop in for a pint.

Stopped in here yesterday and was really impressed. I love the no nonsense industrial atmosphere and cool bar. As others have said, it seems like they are going for more Belgianie(is that a word?) style beers, which is a nice change of pace, although I favor more traditional style ales. That said the beer suggested to me was delicious. There was a food truck outside and the food people were eating looked awesome. Stickman Brews looks like an awesome addition to the RoFo area and I wish them much success. I can’t wait to stop back when I have more time.

They are most certainly different and are a refreshing change from the norm. There currently is six different beers on tap and several others that are«test» batches in the bottle. They seem to specialize on Farm House/Saison beers; however, I am not too sure if they will expand into other styles in the future. I went on the opening weekend and it was a little too busy to get a chance to speak with the brewer in-depth on future brew plans. What I tried from the tap I enjoyed. I tried two different«test» batches in the bottle and found one«Trotsky» to be solid and the other«Kentucky Common» to be suspect. To be fair, I have never had a commercial example of a Kentucky Common, and from what I understand, it’s a pre-prohibition style that involves a sour mash; however, this one just had something«off» about it. Other than that, I really enjoyed the beer. In fact, the«Crushing Student Debt»; which is a Belgian Double Brown was/is World class. If it wasn’t north of 8% ABV, I would drink it all day! The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. There are games on the tables for people to play. There was a nice selection of music that wasn’t too loud so you could maintain a conversation. They also had a food truck come out that had the usual pub fare: burgers, cheese steaks, fries, etc. I hope the food truck is a mainstay as it really helps the experience having food to pair with your beer. All in all, this place provided a really solid experience, and considering this was there opening weekend. In the past, I found a lot of breweries have an initial hiccup when they first open, but not this place. One would almost think they have been in business for a few years. Welcome to Royersford Stickman! You have a permanent fixture customer!

I am so excited that Stickman Brews is finally open! They are going to be a much welcomed addition to the local beer scene. Hundreds of people showed up for opening weekend and everyone I talked was very impressed with what they found. The Beer — It’s an awesome take on modern American beer culture with the classic funk of Belgian farmhouse brewing. My favorites were Wishbone and Plant Matter(10.6%), but I would encourage you to try the sampler flight and find out what you like the best. The Atmosphere — Stickman is keeping it simple with a refreshingly clean and contemporary space that shows their focus is on their beer and the people who drink it. Tables are topped with a variety of games and the owners circulated around the bar area to welcome customers, make beer suggestions, and even pass out a few free samples. But don’t take my word for it — Go see for yourself that the Stickmen are brewing up something special at their brand new location, and be sure to check back as they roll out their full menu and bottle shop over the next few months!
