Before they changed the ownership, I used to like here. People who took over seem like they are not much experienced. During pedicure, she made few scratches on my feet and toes. I just got simple manicure and the colors were all messed up. Bubbles are every fingernails and the lengths were all different. When I pointed bubbles out, the girl did not apologized at all about taking my time for redone. She tried to fixed it anyway, but there were more bubbles on nails after that. I was in rush and just gave up to complain. As soon as I got home, I removed them right away.

I agree new management is nowhere close to the experience I usually got during a pedicure. I will sadly be looking elsewhere

City Nails 2 is under new management. Tanya and Henry war no longer there. All new faces. I will try it for a while but it isn’t the same.

The prices here aren’t bad, but these people need to learn customer service. I loved this place the first time i went. I got an acrylic full set and a younger gentleman did a fantastic job! I was laughing the whole time and felt really at ease. Since then, i have made several more visits for refills. The first refill, I showed a different man(Henry) a picture of the Halloween nails i wanted. He pressed way too hard with the drill in a VERY rushed fashion that left my fingers raw and tight. Then, when it came time to polish, he completely ignored all my requests and did what he wanted. I felt powerless to stop him as he painted crappy spiderweb after spiderweb on my nails. The next appointment, I again came with a picture. It was a simple almond shaped nail with baby pink polish and gold glitter. Well, Henry immediately grabs a dark red glitter from the shelf and hands it to me. What? Dark red glitter? I wanted ballerina princess, NOT wicked witch of the west. Sorry Henry. So i picked my own colors and sat down. I repeatedly asked the girl if they could do the almond shape for me. Each time she said yes and acted really annoyed that I kept asking. When it came time to file, she looks at me, smiles and goes«You want them square, right?» Not to mention every time i went, they switched off who was doing my nails like they were playing musical chairs. The last time, they even had one girl doing one hand and Henry drilling away on the other, and kept having me crisscross them so they didn’t have to switch seats. This place is full of people who hate their job. They don’t listen, they don’t care about you, and they just want you to pay and leave

The first time I went here I loved it, the pedicure price is great and they gave me a really nice leg massage with hot stones. A few weeks ago one of my friends got a manicure here and said that she was very unhappy with it because they had cut her fingers around the nail and used nail polish remover to get it to stop bleeding. I couldn’t believe what she said because I had never had a problem there, so for my next pedicure my mom, my sister, and I went here again. My sister had a great pedicure, but my mom and I had terrible ones! We were bleeding because they had trimmed WAY too much, and I had gross scabs around my toe nails for days. I will never go here again.

This place is the best! Tonya and her husband Henry(the owners) are fantastic! If you can’t get one of them to do your mani or pedi you will still be pleased with the rest of the people working there! I have NEVER had a bad experience here and I have been going here for years, and my mother has been going here even longer. Great prices, very clean, very relaxing.
