Pros — rent is dirt cheap, can’t beat the location, ample parking, great management, good quality Cons — no central air, can be loud if your window is open and facing 11 Mile, not a highrise off Main St. Overall — highly recommended if you don’t care too much for a 5 star penthouse and trying to save a buck.

Absolutely terrible management and even worse maintenance personnel. The location is great but it is not worth it. You will end up hating it; I guarantee it. I cannot stress how much it is not worth it to live in these apartments(which are not nice to begin with; in fact, they’re just barely acceptable) with this management no matter how great the location seems.

Wagon Wheel Apartments, Gross, gross, gross! When I went back for my masters, I lived in these apartments because they were close to I75, and right near down town Royal Oak. The only thing good nice about these apartments was the location-next to down town, and accessibility to the major freeways. I lived in the first floor and my place looked like a dump. It was furnished with an old couch that looked like it came out of Three’s Company. The service man was terrible as well. It took him months to answer service calls and he never did thing right. Once, he retiled my bathroom and it looked terrible! There was cement all over the tiles! When I called the manager to complain, she did nothing. I finally had to get a hold of her manager to get something done about the situation. If I were you, I would stay as far away from these apartments as possible. Good luck on your hunt! I as elated to be out of that pit.
