It’s your average Coney Island. Their food is decent, I got their Greek salad and it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it wasn’t terrible. The staff isn’t particularly energetic or welcoming but service was fast and I got in and out quickly. You can’t expect much from a place like this.

I would give them zero stars if possible. This was the worst experience i have ever had in a restaurant. First we walk in and grab a table, it then took 10 minutes for someone to come over and get our drink order. We finally were able to order our food and when it came the order was messed up. Now I can understand my eggs being over cooked but my waitress never came back to our table to see how everything was so i sat there with eggs i wasn’t going to eat and and empty coffee cup for the entire meal. We finished eating and we waited over 20 minutes for the bill to be brought to us so we could leave.(Our waitress only had 2 tables and spent 95% of her time just sitting in a booth doing nothing! If they were really busy I would give them a break but she just really was awful) I will never go back to this place and there are several better Coney options in the area.

I’ve been here countless times and 9 times out of 10 the service is great. The food is as you would expect from a coney island, lots of American type food as well as tins of Greek options! Their chicken finger pita is always a crowd favorite. My wife usually enjoys getting a Greek salad and their chicken lemon rice soup, all which never disappoint. They’re very friendly people at this location and the main cashier Shelby is always a joy to see. I rated 4 stars because there are a few servers that look like they are just not into their job, i.e. always on the phone, messing up your order or gossiping with the other girls. Otherwise, a great place for a cheap tasty fresh meal.

They are lucky to get 1 star. Waitress and manager very rude. Wanted to upgrade a mini Greek to a small Greek, which is a $ 1 difference, offered to pay $ 3 more for the difference, and was told sorry we don’t do that, we weren’t asking them not to charge us, we are offering 3x the amount, like they are making money. But then was told, if we didn’t like it, to leave, and so we did. WILLNEVEREVERWALKINTOTHATGHETTOLEOSCONEYISLAND, ANDEVENMORESOWITHTHEGHETTOEMPLOYEES!!! LEOS is very dumb for having a manager like that, coming from a business owner myself, I see that manager being the worst asset for that Coney Island.

SUCH. GOOD. LEMONRICESOUP. It’s creamy, eggy, and with just enough lemon to cut the richness without making it too acidic. I make my poor husband stop here every time we go home — can’t get this in Lexington…

Always a staple! Leo’s is one of the best in metro Detroit. They always deliver on a fast diner with a great feel. The food always comes out great and tasty.

Good breakfast here. It’s by the hospital so its convenient for me to stop in. Go early for the specials but it’s good breakfast all day which is nice. It’s pretty standard as far as coney islands go. The service is decent not phenomenal or anything but you’ll get your food to you while it’s still hot.

WORST Coney I’ve been to in 30 years. Food was greasy, cold and barley editable. Service was almost worse and the place only had a few tables occupied. Do NOT go here.

I really hate this coney. How on Earth would anyone HATEANY coney? But it is pretty easy with this place. What really sucks is that this is the closest coney to my home, why can’t it be awesome? Really huge place, rest assured your table will be sticky, your food will be mediocre at best, your service might be decent if you are lucky and it is actually pretty expensive. So many better options within a ½ mile radius. This place really sucks.

Terrible service and the food is even worse, don’t waste your time. There are far better coney islands a just a couple mins drive in any directions.

I try not to go to this Leo’s. They give you MINIMAL Chicken and Feta on the greek salads. No matter what size you get, you get the same amount of feta and chicken. Learn how to give good portions and maybe you guys will have more people come in. If you go to the other Leos and order a large greek they put almost two slabs of chicken. This place barely gives you one.

I can’t say much about this particular Leo’s, I only stopped in for carry out. A good though limited experience, and I would go back again if I was looking for a Coney Island in the area.

Go here when it’s not busy, or packed, or a weekend night. I like this place and their food and service, but good luck being satisfied or taken care of on a Saturday night when bars are closing. The annoying drunks ordering saganaki just so the whole place can go Opa! really makes you want to get out asap.

The food is pretty good, but the service here is awful more often than not… on our last visit to pick up our to-go order, the guy behind the counter was too busy socializing with his visiting friends to bother acknowledging us standing RIGHTTHERE. The bad attitude from the Kroger next door must be contagious.

I really don’t even know where to start. The service was nice enough… but how can you allow someone to order something off the menu when half the ingredients are missing and not tell them. When I mentioned to the waitress that my Cobb salad was missing bleu cheese, avocado and bacon she just said«hmmm it should of had bacon but we don’t have any bleu cheese or avocado». My daughters meeting was equally bad, although it was served complete as it was listed on the menu. I do realize this is a diner and my expectations were set accordingly. I’ll be sticking with Nello’s.

Since moving part time to FLL it’s always the first stop– chili real chili and it’s soooo good! You don’t realize until you move how good something is until you miss it!!!

If you want a good laugh, this is the place. But you have to go around 3 a.m. when the bar crowd is stumbling in. On a serious note, I have to hand it to the servers at this place. They do a good job handling all of the orders and they make sure the food is served fresh. Get the village salad!

Watery soup(chicken noodle). Who woulda thought one could ruin chicken noodle soup? Husband had navy bean — same thing… watery. Wait staff not very attentive either. Just don’t bother — it’s a waste of time and money going here. Do yourself a favor and go to the McDonald’s just a few blocks away instead. Yeah I said it — GOTOMCDONALD’S OVERTHIS place.

There’s probably a coney island on every corner in Metro-Detroit. Like Leo’s, they all offer a wide variety of fast, affordable American fare. While sticking to the traditional favorites: the gyro, the coney dog, coney fries, Greek salad, etc. This coney is no different. Its large dining room is great for families who are entertaining relatives or friends and are looking for somewhere fast and cheap to go to breakfast. It is also very kid friendly and perfect for a snack after soccer practice or a violin lesson. The young waitresses are not pros but they get the job done. I enjoy the fresh Greek salad and the yummy coney fries. Come to Leo’s where you get a lot for your money!

Cool place to come for some cheap food and people watching. I dropped in here for a quick bit and some hot coffee. I was sick and couldn’t eat much but I had the chicken and rice soup. It was ok, salty and hot, but it did the trick of fulfilling the magical chicken soup must have remedy for colds. Seems like a great place to come late at night after your finished partying because have plenty of low back booths. So you could definitely scope the crowd out, and hey maybe strike up a conversation while your at it.
