This is one of my Favorite boutiques in Royal Oak. The owner and employees are awesome, always friendly and helpful. They sell ethnic and modern goods from around the world at inexpensive prices. The store is filled with exquisite items that you cannot find anywhere else. You can easily spend an hour or more shopping at this store. FYI… you can negotiate on big ticket items such as jewelry, statues and clothing. I’ve gotten generous discounts on a variety of purchases.
Recently, Royal Oak has lost a number of businesses due to its high rent and other costs. I hope this store can weather RO’s economic storm.

After walking past this store literally hundreds of times (over the course of years, to be clear), I finally stopped in yesterday. I had no idea what to expect based on what is in the window displays, but figured I had a half hour to kill. I left wishing I had more time, and with a new purse! What an amazing, eclectic store. While ‘artifacts’ describes some of the merchandise, or at least the feel of much of the store, it also has jewelry, clothing, and home and garden décor. The owner was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I encourage everyone to wander into this hidden gem, I guarantee there will be something that interests you.
