I am surprised by the low reviews but realize that almost all of them are reviewing issues not really related to the doctor directly, rather the office. Trivial things like ‘longer waits’ probably shouldn’t be used tor review a doctor. I have found Dr. Gupta to be a really good doctor and funny guy. His bedside manners are excellent and he spends a good deal of time talking to you. I have taken my son here as well and we had great results of the treatment.

Dr. Gupta misdiagnosed my case of thyroid cancer, causing me to delay treatment for months over that time which my cancer has spread into my chest. It took three surgeries to treat my cancer at that later stage which could have been taken care of earlier. He told me the lump in my neck was benign and to remove it would be a «cosmetic» procedure that insurance would not cover. If you are worried about any sort of cancer, please go to a qualified doctor who can help you. I would advise you to seek treatment elsewhere.

During my first visit to Dr. Gupta’s West Bloomfield office I endured a long wait time, a noisy waiting room, and a doctor who was not very friendly. Then I was given a prescription option that was financially ridiculous — a nasal spray costing $ 150. After receiving my Blue Cross explanation of benefits, I discovered that I overpaid for the office visit. After confirming with the office manager that I was owed a refund, she repeatedly«forgot» to mail me the refund check, and my follow-up emails and faxes go unanswered. I am done with this office, and urge everyone out there to go to another ENT as there are many good doctors in the area who surely treat their patients better.
