Can we take any legal action against him for selling expired stuff? The Ginger paste I bought last week was expired in Jan-​2012. He doesn’t give a shit about the product expiration, he is just there to sell things at double or higher price. You will never find product cost written on the product, even the receipt he gives is not itemized. Will never buy anything from him.

It is a very expensive Indian store with amazingly horrible inventory count. The store does not have any idea on the product count. Please check the expiry date of the product before you buy.

Strange, creepy. They sell stuff from Indian clothing to tea bags. But there are a few treasures in here if you have an affinity for traditional Indian food.

Punjab Mini Mart is by far one of the worst Indian Convenience stores around Boston area, most of the items are well beyond expiry date, also many items are over priced! For desi groceries, there are lot more stores with fresh stock!!! e. g shalimar, spicecorner (online order), college convenience (huntington, limited desi items)!!
note to the owner, please start monitoring your store properly and reviewing which items should be thrown out, also start putting price tags over items (I pity those university students who get their groceries from you)

Very hither-​tither kind of store, as most Indian stores go. The selection is scant, but who can complain? In the Boston area, it is quite hard to get any Indian provisions without having to go out into the burbs.
You can get most bare essentials from frozen naans to spices and bulk goods, including daals, rice, sooji and atta. Expect to pay well for it as well. There is also an odd assortment of other niks and naks.
Rakesh there is very kind and is happy to assist you with anything. I made a few special orders, so we’ll see if he delivers.

this place is awesome. if you know the deal, you’ll bypass the stuff on the shelves and go to the back of the store where they have the home-​cooked sweets and food. go for those.
