This place is fantastic. Open the front door and the smell of hickory smoke welcomes you. No frills, just great down home cooking. Friendly staff makes you feel right at home. I’m a ribs kinda guy and these are better than most. Veggies are over the top as well. This place reminds me of 12 bones in Boone. The only thing I didn’t care for was the brisket. You will be served in a to go box but that’s okay because you will need something to take the leftovers home in.

Prefer this bbq over the pit anyday. Best bbq in Roxboro by far. Comparable to Smithfield and Dickies with menu selection and prices.
BBQ sandwich with the choice of two sides for 4.99. I chose Brunswick Stew and collards. Stew was pretty sweet but full of all the good stuff. Collards were in vinegar and some scrap meat. I’d get both again but would probably try something different next time.
