Rowland Elementary School

Stop 4 on our family’s visits to some of the local churches in the area.
I’ve heard some really good things about Living Hope and so was glad to finally make it out here.
Yet another church that seems to be filled with great people. It’s interesting to see so many different churches becuase you get a quick snap shot of different cultures and environments for worship.
I know this church is moving locations but personally, I think the elementary school location is actually pretty neat. You already have classrooms and a playground for the kids so its very family friendly.
Kind of an off week because apparently many of the women were out on a retreat. Anyway, I think it’s a good church. Close to the right mix of people although closer to the younger side.
Good sermon on Hebrews. The Senior Pastor Steve was very welcoming and friendly.
God will lead us the right way eventually. Just glad to have had the exposure we did.

Living Hope Church is currently using Rowland Elementary as a temporary space while they are renovating/​building their new church on Lambert in Brea. My family attends church here every Sunday, and I go with them occasionally.
The church uses the school’s auditorium and a few classrooms for children’s services. Hence, my review is based solely on these areas. The auditorium has entrance lobby with bathrooms and a fairly elevated stage. The air circulation is poor in here (last time I was fanning myself with a program).
The school grounds are much like any other elementary school with walkways outside, which provide shade but no other protection from the heat during the summer.
