My hair hasn’t been touched for almost a year and I’ve been meaning to chop off all my bronzed and dead part of my hair. I Unilocaled around hair salon in the area and I found this hidden gem in Rowland Heights!
It’s located in a «Dolphin Bay plaza» (even it’s gone now. boohoo) and attached right next to the bakery shop in the corner. First impression may not wow you but I really liked the service and the price.
Tina is Korean born Chinese living in the US who speaks Korean, Chinese, and English so you can communicate with her at your own convenience :) I showed her a picture of what I wanted– a short bob– and here is a picture of the result and I like it a lot. I know it’s probably a simple cut compared to other requests, but all it matters is that I’m satisfied with it!
As mentioned in the beginning, yes, it’s a $ 20 hair cut. I washed my hair prior to the cut and she didn’t charge an extra $ 5 for the wash.
I will see Tina again soon :)

I would give it 10 stars if I can :-)! Super friendly people and I always get my hair cut from Tina. If you want a beautiful hair cut that’s suitable for schools/​regular office jobs, here is the hair salon you should come to.

I have been going to Jackie for almost two years now. She is the only person I trust with my hair. She has dyed and cut my hair numerous times and it has always turned out exactly the way I wanted! Jackie is always willing to listen to each customer’s wants and even provides helpful advice to maintain the style. I have developed a close relationship with Jackie over the past two years and she is no longer just my hairdresser but also a teacher, mother, and even friend. She works so passionately and always is ready to learn new hair trimming and styling tips that would be beneficial to her customers. In a month I’ll be moving to Northern California, but I’m still going to drop by to Jackie’s salon to get my hair done! Thank you for everything Jackie !
I attached two photos, one shows the color of my new hair dye and the second shows my new hairstyle that I’ve been wanting! Jackie also put some nutrition in my hair to make it softer and sleeker!

This review is not for the quality of their hair dresser as it didn’t even get that far. I called twice on a Tuesday afternoon in July to make an appointment. The first time they hung up on me after saying hello. OK. I called back and asked for a slot with Tina on Saturday. The lady told me Tina is on vacation on Wednesday, not sure what it has to do with my appointment on Saturday so I asked when Tina will be back and she first said April, that’s like 8 months from now, and then she sounded unsure and left me on the phone. I thought she went to check with Tina and after 5 minutes of waiting without response on the other end of the phone, I hung up. Never thought making an appointment would be this difficult.

I read all the reviews that other friends posted earlier that helped me l lot. I called Tina for appointment. She is very good in what she does. The customer before me was a little boy. She was so patient with young baby. He felt very comfortable with her too. Tina is good with all ages. I highly recommend her…

I absolutely love the hair stylist that work over here. Yesterday was my third time coming to get my hair cut. Every time it gets better and better, I do not over exaggerate when I say they are probably the best hair salon I ever went to. It’s a little to see where the hair salon is but I really recommend it.

I read every review carefully before choosing this salon. I made an appointment with Tina at 6. I arrived at 5:55, and waited for about 30mins to get my hair cut. That’s fine. Finally it’s my turn. Tina did a very bad job. Two sides are not even balance. Now I have to do another job by myself. Cannot believe why she got so many positive reviews. Won’t go to this place again.

It’s hard to find a salon that charges below $ 30 for a haircut these days. I finally found this place. It’s hidden behind a Chinese bakery. I’m very satisfied with my haircut. My stylist is a Korean Chinese lady. She layered my hair nicely, since I have thin hair, she used a heated curling brush to style my hair and created some volume. She charged me $ 20 for the haircut. I shampooed my hair before I went so I didn’t get the shampoo. If you are getting haircuts frequently and want to save some money, I definitely recommend this place. I went many places, this is the the best !!! Tina give great service and the price isn’t high at all. she highlight my hair and even considered for me that if later my grow longer. I am so happy that my friend refer this place for me.

This place is a hidden treasure! It is located in the Dolphin Bay parking lot. I’m so certain that if this salon was at a better location, their business would be booming! I always get my hair cut and styled by Tina. She is so friendly and sweet! She definitely knows what she’s doing. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair except her. I’ve brought my friends, family, and boyf here; non of them were disappointed with the end result. Their haircuts are fairly priced too. Tina charges $ 25 for females and $ 15 for males — shampoo, cut, and style. If you’re looking for a salon, this is the place to go! You will walk out with a new, sexy you.

I’ve always got my haircut from the lady named Tina, and I was satisfied each time! Although this place is small and it’s in a hidden area where its not visible from the streets, it should definetly be more known and this place deserves a 5 star
