This used to be Chuan Ma. The girl working there says it’s the same restaurant with the same menu.

I have been here several times, and I won’t be here anymore. After the dinner, I called waitress to check. The amount is 18.98. I only have a 20 bill so I went out to ask my husband for more cash. At this time, the waitress said«you only gave me a dollar tip?» What the hell!!! There would be no problem if I left a dollar for her! And I was trying to get more money for her!!! This never happened before! I came here every week! I will never go there! At last I left her 4 dollars!!! So everyone, if you wanna go there, please remember to leave more cash for tips! Otherwise, she will call you back and yell at you!!! Don’t come to this place ever. You have no choice to give the tips. She will ask more and more.

My sister’s friend recommended this place because she loves all things super spicy. However, I was underwhelmed and it’s probably because we asked them to prepare our dishes less spicy? We only had time for a quick lunch, so we ordered the beef noodle soup, dandan noodles, and spicy wontons. The beef was not tender and tasted sour. The dandan noodles was tasty but stingy on the ingredients. The wontons were gross because the pork tasted like it was on the verge of spoiling. In terms of ambiance the restaurant looks a bit run down. Our table felt kind of greasy and I think it’s because they cooked some of their dishes table side? Our waitress was super nice but she only speaks Mandarin, so something to note if you don’t speak the language, but pointing is a universal language. Overall I thought the noodles itself was good, but the quality of the other ingredients does not make me want to come back to try other dishes. Cash only.

The combination of words that make up this restaurant confounds me. A Greedy Cat… mhmm I semi-get it, but then you add in the improbably grammatical addition of Taste. How did this happen? I put my paws on these several dishes. Of which, I enjoyed a fair amount. I had… Spicy beef which they dip & sizzle in a hot water pot — I ate a lot of this and with the onions, due to it being pretty tasty. Beef lung dish which is actually beef slices and tripe and cucumber lathered in a chili sauce — it’s a cold appetizer which is as appropriately named as greedy cat taste; I don’t think cow lung is legal in the US anyway Specialty Fish in a hot pot tray which has potatoes, lotus, and other vegetables in a spicy sauce — my peers enjoyed it a lot, but to me, it was OK Yam and seaweed dish — the only non-spicy dish, which was equally as good as the spicy ones but much healthier

Best szechuan restaurant in town. very local taste and feel I’m in Chengdu. I always get extra spicy. It’s a little pricey compare to other sichuan restaurant, but it worth it. beef noodle soup is good, sour and spicy noodle is good too. I’d like to try all dishes there.

This restaurant is hit or miss. From my experiences, if you come during the afternoon time, the nice waitress is there. I typically tip them 20−22% because they accommodate my needs quite well and their beef stew noodles(which I always get) tastes above average. However, if you come here on most nights, the mean/rude waitress is working and she has the most awful attitude ever for any waitress of any place. She is not welcoming nor approachable. I usually tip her much less due to her distasteful service and the food is typically bland during this time. I would only ever come here again when the nice waitress is working. Otherwise, I wouldn’t want to waste my time.

Better than Chengdu taste. Definitely will go back again although it’s a little bit far away…

5 stars because I love their noodles. Their signature noodles are beef stew and pork rib. Pork rib is the best of the best. No where else could make Sichuan noodles so authentic. If you are craving a Sichuan noodle. This place is the only place to go.

I have lived in Chengdu, Sichuan for 6 months, and operated a Sichuan restaurant for 4 and a half year. I do not recognized their foods. May be it is Chongqing style. The foods tasted good, but it is very poor value. The dishes are mainly bean spout and rices. They charge over $ 9 per plate – outrageous. Will not return. They also attempted to package their foods as jianghu cuisine. There is not such thing. They are pretentious – not very literate people. The kids accept them because they do not know either.

One of the best Szechuan restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Each dish has unique tastes that tantalized our taste buds… wow. Each dish is so different in taste and the handmade noodles are just the best. The Dan Dan Noodles are springy and full of flavors. The spicy green Serrano chile and peppercorn chicken dish is hot and delicious. Highly recommend this to everyone

I come here for the Dan Dan noodles, I just love the taste of it. But I commend the girl waitress there working all by herself during the busiest hours during lunch time on Sunday 1÷17÷16. Please get her some help, she was running all over the place and working really hard to help all the tables. She did a excellent job!

The food I felt was delicious and traditional sichuan style. The service was great. There was one lady running the whole show(besides the cooking). I would encourage others to try the stone fish pot(this is enough for two people). Overall, the only reason why I gave this place a 3 is because I felt that the food selections and taste did not stand out past«chengdu taste» — another sichuan restaurant in the area.

This is a great authentic ChongQing restaurant. The food might be pricy due to its huge portion. It’s great for 2 or more people to come. Also, they have noodles for individuals and the restaurant is clean and they tell you when the food will be ready. Great place to come!

We tried this place last Sunday. The place features the best authentic Chongqing food around(according to my wife, who is from Chongqing). The fish we ate was the best Chinese fish dish I have had here in the United States. We also had a chicken dish, which my wife enjoyed(but was a bit too spicy for my wimpy tongue). Then I chowed down on the stir-fried cabbage, mmmmmm! The meal brought back some good memories of the food in China. The best part about the experience there was meeting the lovely people who owned and managed the restaurant. They were very friendly and kind. You all need to try this place. It’s in a shopping center filled with other Chinese dining choices. You will be glad that you made this place, Greedy Cat Taste, your dining choice. We cannot wait to go back there tomorrow!

The owner is a really kind lovely lady, when we trying to give her $ 20 tips for her satisfying service, she told us that’s too much tips. That’s the first time I ever saw someone refuse tips because it’s too much! The food is awesome, too. Even though this is a small restaurant without fancy out looking, they really serve with their hearts. Highly recommend.
