Holy moly. I just died and went to ice cream heaven. The ladies working there are so sweet. They let me taste as many flavors until I was satisfied. Their milky buns are little pockets of happiness. I prefer them unglazed with half milk ‘n cereal and half vietnamese coffee ice cream. Yes, you can do half and half. You’re welcome.

I give a 5 star based on the fact that they are open so late! the staff is super friendly and very attentive, quality of the ice cream is pretty good. Overall I enjoyed it and will probably come back! Just a idea though! Tables out side or at least benches!

Had to try out the hype while I was in the area. This location is new but the OG places were supposedly really popular. Sadly, I’ve never tried those places so this review is based on this one and only location. Anyway, let’s get started! Since it was my first time and very new to the unique flavors Afters ice cream has to offer, I didn’t want to commit to any specific flavors before trying them out. & that’s exactly what I did! I had the chance to try Cookie Monster, jasmine milk tea, milk&cereal, and churro. Was not a fan of churro and jasmine milk tea. But liked the other two. This is where I give a shout out to the sweet server who had the patience to deal with my indecisiveness. Ha. Under the impression that I had to pay 0.50 extra to get half&half and being the cheapo that I am, I stood there and thought long and hard about which flavor to choose. Did I also mention that a line started forming behind me? Ha. He then told me the deciding factor: no extra charge to get two flavors. Score! Got the milky bun with Cookie Monster and milk&cereal. Usually, you can pick a crunchy topping like crushed Oreos or peanuts or etc. but, since I chose milk&cereal, the Afters cornflakes automatically came with it. Now for all my Instagram hipsters, this is where you get disappointed. It’s very VERY hard to take a pretty HD photo of the milky bun. Because the donuts are freshly made warm and with the ice cream smacked between two donuts, the mess became real. fast. Very fast. So good luck. On the bright side, there is a cute selfie wall(: Not really digging their milky buns. While it may be cool and unique, the price and calories are definitely not worth it. Maybe it’s just me but the entire time I was thinking about how I was probably reaching my maximum weekly sugar intake from just one milky bun. Also, if you have two kids, don’t bother getting two individual scoops. Definitely more worth it to just get one cup and two scoops. I do recommend this place just to say you’ve tried the hype. Otherwise, probably won’t come back on the regular. Maybe once in a blue moon and then after that, I’d probably have to run a marathon.

This place is great! Tried it for the first time today when we got a sweet tooth and we were not disappointed. I loved what we ordered, it was a great price and the employees were so friendly and nice. I highly recommend. We will DEFINITELY be going back. got cookie monster ice cream with a glazed milky bun loved it. The churro ice cream is also to die for.

It is $ 4/Scoop and $ 6/Milky Bun. The price at this location is a dollar more than Chino Hills but honestly you’ll survive the dollar difference. I only ordered a single scoop of Milk & Cereal in a cup because honestly I don’t really ever have room for dessert and also I don’t stray from my comfort zone of vanilla and vanilla variations because I am as basic as you can get. The workers will offer you samples upon samples of anything you want to try but don’t just come for samples because this ain’t Costco homie. On a side note, I don’t get how an individual can eat a double or triple scoop by themself… I can’t even finish my single scoop before it starts to melt. Anyways, I’ll be back soon Afters!

Located near the same walkway towards Boiling Crab aka old spot where Coconut Bay used to be. Afters has capitalized on making their presence known. With their long lines but speedy enough service, they make this scene fun and worth going out to. Anyone with a sweet tooth, a craving for ice cream, or a snack in mind, this is a spot you have to try when in this part of town. The challenge is the construction on Nogales. I, myself, was discouraged knowing beforehand of this but the trip on a Friday night around 10pm was not too bad. The customer line was moving and people were having a good time. There were no d-bags just good people enjoying their Afters. We tried the jasmine ice cream and no bread. My wife and I shared the ice cream and I was able to get some other flavors like almond cookie and churro from her cousins. The consistency of their ice cream is not soft and has a firm texture. Not too sweet either. Next time I will try ordering the bread to go with our ice cream. Good Luck Afters and many more success!

They opened Afters in RH and I just found out today!!! SOAWESOME!!! It was empty when we walked in so I got the attention of all 3 staffs. Very friendly and helpful! I tried the milk and cereal, jasmine milk and cookie crunch? Settled for the milky bun with the milk and cereal ice cream. It says that I get one free topping. But apparently the cereal in *milk and cereal* IS considered a topping. So I choose the fruity pebbles coz I need to take a Unilocal worthy picture. They gave be the warm bun but I see very little fruity pebbles. So I asked and they said its inside already. I above pictures! Anywayyyyys, I was adamant to get the picture and decided to pay them to add MORE fruity pebbles but kind Jacob offered to top up a bit more for me! You’re awesome!!! thank you! I got the shot. But… I should have pulled down more of the white paper that’s holding the bun. Yes, I’m very difficult. Lol! I’ll be back! Maybe not for the bun coz by the time I’m done fussing with the camera and what not, it got cold and hard! $ 4 for a single scoop, $ 6 for double, and your soul for a triple. Kiddinnnn. It’s $ 7. $ 0.50 for topping, cones. $ 6 for the milky bun. Reminder to self, next time try the Vietnamese coffee, Cookie Monster and jasmine milk!

Prices at this Rowland Heights location are more expensive than the Chino Hills location. I guess prices vary at different stores.

I am definitely not a fan of ice cream and never ever want ice cream. Normally, I can never finish a scoop or even half a scoop of ice cream on my own. I take a few bites, and I am done because it is so sweet and just doesnt taste good! Afters ice cream has gotten me wanting more! I can finish it all by myself. They have unique flavors such as cookie monster, mint monster, strawberry cookie, peach, jasmine milk tea, milk and cereal, viet coffee, cookie butter, peanut butter, etc. IMO, theyre not too sweet. I have sampled most of their flavors. I am in love with their viet coffee!!! Jasmine milk tea comes in 2nd. 1 scoop: $ 4 2 scoop: $ 6 Forgot the price of 3 scoops

Yum yum! I came in so my son can try their Cookie Monster ice cream. Needless to say he loved it and we added some Gummi Bears as well. I, on the other hand, went for the milky bun and was not disappointed. I remembered I visited the Chino Hills location, but I couldn’t remember what combination I got. So I went with the churro ice cream milky bun with sprinkles because let’s face it, sprinkles make everyone happy!!! It was amazing and my taste buds were in heaven. I would love to come back every evening after dinner because I always crave something sweet. I just love that they opened this new location! Nothing but love, sticky fingers, and blue ice cream kisses from my son and I

First in line at their grand opening party… another great trip to Afters. The cashier may need some more experience as he messed up my boyfriend as well as my order, but I’m assuming he was still in training. Other than that, friendly staff and delicious icecream.

One of my favorite ice cream places by far. My first time at Afters was in Long Beach. Opening in Rowland Heights is huge because it is now closed to where I currently reside. The ice cream is always delicious and the toppings are overwhelming. I went yesterday and the grand opening made the whole experience pretty awesome. The people who worked there were hardworking and very nice. I would definitely come back.(:

Pretty unique flavors and creative concept: ice cream inside a warm donut! Glazed was a little too sweet for me, I’ll probably try the plain next time.

Delicious! My hubby and I came here after Korean bbq across the street so we split a milky bun, which is their specialty. You can get 50⁄50 which means you can choose two different flavors of ice cream. I got Vietnamese coffee and he got Cookie Monster(cookies & cream + fudge) with Cookie Crisp and mochi toppings. The milky bun was $ 6 — a little pricy for the amount you get, but still very tasty and original. Would come back for sure.

Amazing how much clientele this brand attracts this one and the one at Chino Hills Spectrum. The ice cream taste great specially with the waffle. Only thing I suggest is to lower the music because it was hard to communicate with server.

Ice cream after dinner. Good choice. Shop is simple and clean. With the black and white minimal decal décor, the main focus was the counter with the ice cream and toppings. Even though I was full from dinner, I couldn’t resist a scoop of ice cream for dessert. There are interesting selections available, you can ask the server for taste test. I got the Jasmine Milk Tea flavor(the color was purple). And it was good.

I love the ice cream here! The flavors are creative and decadent. The main draw to this place is their«milky buns.» Which are ice cream filled donuts! You pick an ice cream flavor, crunchy topping, and they put it in a glazed donut for you. The donut comes out warm and soft(like Krispy Kreme). It’s the perfect compliment to ice cream. I had a tough time deciding which lucky flavor I wanted in my donut. They were all so delicious! During my visit I sampled: jasmine green tea, cookie monster, milk & cereal, churro, and strawberry cookie crunch. Milk & cereal/Cookie Monster are supposed to be the most popular flavors. I found the cereal flavor weak and the blue color of Cookie Monster off putting. The jasmine green tea tasted exactly how I’d imagine jasmine GT to be as an ice cream. The churro flavor was cinnamon-y, but not really reminiscent of a churro. I ended up getting strawberry cookie crunch with Cinnamon Toast Crunch as a topping. It had a bright strawberry flavor and bits of cookies. Perfect in a donut! Be aware, there were no seating or tables available when I visited. Couldn’t even find a trash can inside! It’s bare, so you’ll be standing when you bite into that blissful milky bun.
