Wow! I’m literally speachless!!! After seeing several commercials attempting to get business, we decided to try the place out. Apparently they don’t need the business after all because according to the website, Unilocal, and Google, they close at 10:00 on Saturdays however; when we arrived to the resturant at 8:40 we were promptly greeted by a rude woman who informed us that they were closing In 20 minutes. Hahaha! It’s actually comical bc there were 2 people in the place anyways!!! Then the woman proceeds to tell us that she just didn’t want us to feel rushed… AREYOUKIDDINGME!!! I worked until the service industry for years and I have never turned away business, I don’t care if we were closing in 1 minute. If you wanted to close early because the resturant is dead, that’s fine however; if a customer walks in… guess what, you need to serve them. Great commercials, very welcoming, unfortunately; the reality is they are not customer friendly and apparently don’t need business or money. We will not be back, I don’t care how good their food is… Austin has excellent places to eat with great customer service. Good luck competing with your terrible customer service… I give them a year and that’s generous.

Waitress did not know what gluten free meant. Did not know what antipasti was. They cannot substitute something if you can’t eat the pasta side. I have Celiac disease so cannot eat regular pasta but most places will substitute something for me — vegetables or salad or something. Not here! So all I could eat was a salad which while good was certainly not Italian food. Very disappointed. Won’t be back.

They have good lunch prices and the service was good, the down side was all our food was just average, very bland. The lasagna had very little flavor and my wife’s chicken parm was the same. They bring you a plate of fresh baked rolls/bread, they were very soft but not a lot of taste. The $ 1 add on salad was the best thing we had today…

A gem in our community: This place has a nice relaxing atmosphere. I’ve been here twice and both times the food and service has been great. Food tastes authentic, love their tomato based sauces. Prices are reasonable. Their free appetizer bread is delicious.

We had to ask for the AC to be turned on. It was super muggy. The staff looked less than thrilled to be at work. The bread was cold. Some of our food lacked flavor. They have many choices and the people next to us ordered subs which looked very good. It’s ok for a small family owned Italian place, but I don’t think we will be coming back again.

Best Alfredo sauce I’ve probably had at a restaurant in along time, possibly ever. The front appearance of the place almost steered us away but there was a family of four that loved the food. And they have Moretti beer. I’ve had lots of beers and I’ve never tried it but just like everything else it was amazing.

Me and my fiancé 1st time eating here and it was through take-out. The food was delicious and very favorable. Every item was neatly packaged to go — and the food remained hot till we arrived home. Items ordered included the lasagna, chicken parm, side salads, garlic cheese bread, Italian cream cake. Again everything was very delicious and had a homemade from scratch taste. The portion sizes are very good on all items ordered and had plenty of left overs for lunch. The only item I was not to pleased with was the portion size on the lasagna. It was very small compared to the pictures posted from customers who din-in. Other then that everything was great, looking forward to dinning in next time and trying out some other items. Would highly recommend this place over Olive Garden and other Italian places.

I’d do 4.5 stars if I could. And only for service. Just a tad slow, for a not full restaurant. Got seated right away though. Very clean and nice inside, very unexpected. Had the calamari to start off with. Melt in your mouth amazing. Bread rolls are so good and salty and garlicky. The kids fettuccine Alfredo is a good portion size and the Alfredo was probably the best I’ve ever had. I had the shrimp ala Palermo. Perfect amount of citrus. Shrimp was a little dry, but other than that, perfect flavor. Hubby had the lasagna. Said it was good, but he preferred the Alfredo. Over all, we’d definitely come back. Worries me they’ve been open for 8 months and this is the first I’ve heard of them. And they weren’t busy on Mother’s Day. We will be back for sure though!

Wow. It’s refreshing to finally have great Italian American food in Round Rock. They use actual REAL ingredients!!! All pasta entrée’s, pizza, subs, and salads were fresh and fantastic. The red sauce was sweet with no acid. Chicken Picatta was phenomenal. Restaurant was very neat and clean. The service for lunch was spot on. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Thank you!!! We will return.

Tuscany is a great Italian place in Round Rock. The first two visits I noticed there was only one waitress. While this place is not very large inside I definitely gave the waitress some slack since it was just her. The first time I came in for lunch(on a Saturday) they did not give us any bread. We found that weird. The second time we came in at lunch(during the week) we did get bread and I noticed they had different items on their lunch menu than the regular menu. My last visit(Saturday night) they had three people waiting tables. The wait staff was very attentive last night. It was pretty packed too. Food: The food is really good. Kids loved their pepperoni pizza. Omg! The pizza is good. I was craving the pizza so had to stop in with the kiddos. Must be their cheese. I have had their seafood combo pasta dish and pasta from their lunch menu. Both dishes were good. Give them a shot!

This is based on both food and service. It would’ve scored higher had the service been outstanding. We have been here at least 5x since it opened. The entrees I’ve had were delicious and their garlic rolls are good as well. I do want to point out that I’ve had their Shrimp Florentine(Special of the day) twice and both times they were delicious… but not consistent. First time I felt like it was perfect and had the right amount of large size shrimp and the creamy sauce with the spinach was on point. The second time I had it, it was spinach overkill and for some reason I felt this time around there were less shrimp to this dish than the first time. Nonetheless it tasted great, just not consistent. The service however needs work! The waitresses stand around by the computer giggling and talking amongst themselves. This was on a Friday evening with only 5 tables full. We had to wave down someone for refills and the only time they brought out fresh hot rolls for us was on our very first visit. Every time after that we had to ask for it. This most recent visit I felt like our waitress rolled her eyes at us for asking as if we were bothering her. They only time I felt they were sincerely pleasant was when they gave us the bill … as if to pour on the charm for their tip so to speak. The tip is based on your entire performance through out our visit not 10 mins prior to us leaving. If it weren’t for their food, we probably wouldn’t be back again. Perhaps next time we will request a different waitress(is that rude)? The tall one with the accent seems to know more about the menu but service and attitude — sadly very lacking. The owner should really focus in on this. No matter how amazing the food is, poor customer service will drive your customers away. Especially when there’s another fantastic Italian restaurant(Gino’s) on the other end of Mays behind the Outback shopping center. As always, we like to support new, locally owned businesses rather than the usual chains. Hopefully this and other reviews will get the attention of the owner. Would I recommend this place to others? Yes! I feel every place deserves a chance at redemption and to be successful. We want more choices and better restaurants to stay in our area.

Super delicious Italian food, especially for the price. The wife ordered the spaghetti works which had meat sauce, meatballs and Italian sausage over thin spaghetti. The sauce was an odd orange color but every bite of it was tasty and hearty. I had the lasagna and while it wasn’t mind blowing it was still pretty awesome. Careful though I burnt the crap out of my mouth because they serve it boiling lava hot. Everything here taste homemade from scratch and each dish is around 10 bucks, overall a great deal for what you get. The service wasn’t anything special but good enough. The dining area and bathrooms are super clean. For a city lacking in really good Italian food this place scores high marks across the board. We’ll definitely be back for more.

Have no idea how the food tastes. But am very disappointed with the fact that we were driving back home to Waco and figured we try this place, but couldn’t because it was closed. The hours on the door and on Unilocal say 11am-9pm Sunday-Thursday. Today is Monday and they are closed. Waste of gas and starving. So I’m disappointed!

I noticed that a new Italian restaurant had opened in Round Rock and tried it for lunch last week with some friends. Last night the wife and I scooted over in the Catmobile(new car that replaced the Batmobile). The parking lot was full and there was a wait. We noticed that about 10 table were available. My wife thought they did not have enough staff to handle the large crowd and were not seating them. I guess they were not prepared for that size of business. I think a lot of people like the place and they will hire more staff to handle the crowd in the future. We were finally seated and placed our order. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana($ 9.99), breaded Chicken breast in Marinara sauce and Mozzarella cheese over pasta, I changed the Marinara souse with meat souse. The wife ordered Scampi Ala Palmero($ 11.99), classic shrimp dish with butter, lemon, wine, and fresh garlic served over angel hair pasta. I ordered a salad and she got the basil tomato soup. She wanted to trade me her soup for my salad so I did it. The soup was good but I had never had tomato soup that was the consistency of water before I have always had s much thicker style tomato soup. Garlic bread was served with the meal. We both liked our dishes very much. The service was fine and the décor was nice as well. Also, I had strawberry cheesecake at lunch the other day and it was great. I think this is a great new addition to Round Rock and it will do well. Would I(we) go back? Yes many times.

My wife and I visited tonight as new customers because we had purchased a Groupon. Based on some of the reviews saying it was some of the best Italian food in the area, my expectations were very high. We like to give new, locally owned restaurants a chance to earn our business. Unfortunately, we were quite underwhelmed! The waitstaff seemed quite unorganized. Once we were brought our drinks, it took a long time before they actually took our order. We were eventually brought bread, which was just dropped on our table. The bread had no taste and seemed like it was previously frozen. My wife ordered cheese ravioli and found it very bland. I ordered a hamburger and mushroom pizza. The dough had no taste and it seemed like it was also previously frozen. Also, the hamburger didn’t seem fresh. The best thing about the pizza was that it didn’t seem like the mushrooms were canned. I am a stickler for fresh ingredients when I eat out and either they are not using fresh ingredients or they need to change where they source their ingredients. When we left, there was no effort from the staff to thank us for coming in and inviting us to return. It’s too bad. I really wanted to like the place, but we will not be back. In my opinion, there are much better local and chain Italian restaurants in Round Rock. :-(

We tried this place because we had been searching for an authentic Italian resto and saw this one had solid reviews on Unilocal.Bonus… they offered a Groupon that we picked up to check it out. The ambience is pretty cool and the staff very nice, very friendly On to the most important aspect… the food. We ordered a cheese pizza, spinach tortellini and a cheese ravioli… and LOVED every bite! The pizza looks way better than it tastes and the pasta was just what we were looking for, real, homemade flavors that we had gotten used to after living in NY/NJ for the past 15 years. All in all a home run. I wasn’t able to give a total five stars because there weren’t a TON of vegetarian options on the menu, but I am sure most pasta items could be made veg if one asked. Our new Italian go to!

A 2 or 3 — truly nothing special… food was OK, service was good, prices were ok, atmosphere was decent but could have been better which will be described below. We went early on a Saturday and there was nobody there… We ignored the misspelling on the special sign out front(it’s creamy not cramy) and my wife ordered it… she liked it well enough. Tiny salad was extra which I thought was a bit weird. I ordered a sausage sandwich which came with zero sides which, again, I thought was weird… The only problem was that the kitchen was so busy pounding out veal or chicken that it was annoying… we mentioned it to the waitress and instead of requesting them to hold off or stop, she just explained to us why it had to be done NOW! Oh well… that bothered me… we may or may not return-probably not

Just ok. Maybe shouldn’t have went on a Friday night as the waitstaff(or lack of) seemed overwhelmed. Food was decent, not out of the park but ok. Our meals. Shrimp scampi –way under seasoned! Pasta combo– decent Seafood combo– way under seasoned! Calamari was ok(honestly I didn’t try it because I have a hard time with any seafood in Texas) I was finally asked if I needed my water re filled when we were leaving. The place was SUPER noisy. I had to repeat myself several times just talking across the table. That may be due to the wood walls. Something good, the prices were great! So I can overlook bad service. There are so many Italian restaurants in RR, it may be difficult for me to give this place another try. My mother in law is definitely going to give the lunch menu a try. Caveats… It was Friday night There was a huge party seated when we arrived.

I just noticed a week ago that Tuscany has opened. Chilled salad plate, crazy fresh salad vegetables, and the house dressing is a homemade tomato basil vinaigrette– Outstanding! I was too hungry to take a picture, but it was a beautiful salad. First you eat with your eyes, right? Perfectly delicate slices of eggplant– not the off-putting slabs of heavily breaded mystery vegetable that is so common(unfortunately). Angel hair pasta? Really, and perfectly cooked at that. The marinara is flavorful and obviously made in house. Only a few options for vegetarians, as is usual with Italian restaurants, but why would I want anything else? I may have to come back for the ziti or stuffed shells, but I love eggplant, and this is extraordinary. For the omnivores among us, there is seafood, chicken, veal and pizza, a children’s menu, beer and wine, splendid service and good parking. My search for a delicious and affordable Italian restaurant is finally over. Eat here!
