This clinic, based on location and appearance, would not seem to be a charity clinic, but it is, and it is reflected in the quality of service. The paperwork made a big deal out of economic assistance that we do not need — it was as though they could not imagine anyone would have commercial insurance. We wasted 2 hours for my pregnant wife to just get a urine sample and blood pressure. They did not perform any exam otherwise, no guess on how long she’s been pregnant, and they just told us to come back «next week» for the sonogram. The appointment card turned out to say 2 weeks later, and I called them. The nurse could «not understand my question», insisting that 2 weeks later is somehow «next week». I found a new doctor and cancelled the appointment. When I called to cancel, they just said «cancelled» and hung up.
