So excited when I saw that round rock had a boba tea place! Its close to my work so I have visited multiple times. I haven’t had a bad experience. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The place itself is cute and has tables to drink and play board games. They have lots of options of drinks to choose from. My favorite is the lychee black tea boba. I would definitely give them a try and sign up for the reward system.

A boba place in Round Rock! That by itself is already a rare occurrence and deserves recognition, though nothing too special otherwise. The menu is pretty standard and the drinks taste pretty standard as well. I guess it’s not that hard to mess up common drinks like Jasmine Milk Tea or Taro Cream Blend. The bobas were pretty tough and chewy, probably have been sitting there for a while since we came on a rather cold day. Overall, if you’re really craving boba and you’re in the area, Sunrise is a safe choice. Just don’t expect to be blown away by the quality of the drinks. One thing I do like about this place is that they have a clear definition of what Full, Half, and Light sugar means on their menu.(Note: «Half» is actually not half of «Full», go figure.) They also have a decent number of tables, unlike many of the Austin boba places that are all way too small. They do have a small selection of board games but they’re not that well maintained, as expected.

I love boba tea! Came to this place due to their reviews on Unilocal, some good and some not so much so I attempted to go any way. Now I am simple, I ordered a mango boba tea and a black boba tea so I had no issues with what I ordered. They also have cookies and fruits for sale but I didn’t purchase any. The place a cute. Had board games, a chalkboard wall display for you to write or whatever, and some books. You can stay and chit chat or work on homework but I don’t know if they have free wifi. I will come here again. Probably order my tea and that’s about it.

This hidden gem has tons of flavor options. While you can get a great tasting bubble tea, I’m in love with their Lavender Green Tea. It was super aromatic and the flavor was amazing. Also, the Peppermint Green tea with cream is fantastic.

I brought my friend here for his first tea house experience. He loved it, and so did I! I got the blended Taro cream(smoothie) and he got the coconut black tea over ice. We both got half tapioca. It’s a cute little space, and it has a lot of games and stuff. It would be a good spot to bring kids, study, or just chill! I believe the woman who helped us is the one who owns the place and she was super welcoming and sweet :) we will definitely be back!

Stopped in the other day after seeing the good reviews on Unilocal.Had the ice cream mocha coffee with tapioca(a new concept for me). WOW. Absolutely loved it! So delicious! Also, the guy working there was very kind and gave great suggestions. Will def go back and so glad I tried something new!

Great ice cream coffee drink with tapioca, I may be getting hooked on these things. The frozen mocha coffee drink my wifey ordered was very much to her liking. I tried one of their oatmeal raisin cookies and it was good. This place is really close so I may need to pop into Greenhouse for a great sammy and get a bubble drink in here.

I love this little place. They have a wide variety of drinks, something for everyone! I’ve had the blended hazelnut, coconut cream blend, tarro blend and the coconut and tarro blend. I always request light sweetener, I may try it without next time. My husband had a tea once that came with a bunch of fresh fruit, it was great but a little sweet for me. It never seems too busy, I’ve never had to wait too long, the employees are always friendly and they keep the shop clean. They also have a frequent buyer program and a wide variety of board games available if you feel like hanging out there. I like to grab a drink here and then walk down the way to diamond nails for a pedicure :)

This place is pretty good. I love that they have the option of how much sugar you can put in your drink. This is a huge plus for me because there are tea houses that put too much sugar in their drinks. Highly recommended. Great place to study too — free Wifi.

I’m not the type to really hang out in a coffee or tea house unless I have a specific project I need some space to work on, and that doesn’t happen often. So I haven’t really hung out here — I’ve just stopped in a few times to sate my cravings for boba. Yummy bubble tea, fast and friendly service. My husband likes the cookies and cream but it’s too sweet for me. The peach cream blend is a perfect summer dessert IMO. :)

Nice vibes, nice staff, great tea! Definitely coming back here! They also have a loyalty program which makes coming back a must! I love how they have games to play while you sit and enjoy your drink!

Not picky about this stuff. It was your running the mill average bubble tea. I don’t like small tapioca. They didn’t have the regular ones when we went. My mocha coffee was slightly on the bitter side and I didn’t taste much chocolate. I drank about a third and tossed it. Not bad but I won’t be driving back there for a drink.

Seating is plentiful and games [we played a couple rounds of Tetris jenga] are provided to enjoy as you sip your drink. I ordered a hazelnut milk tea with mini boba. They happened to be out of large boba at the moment and it would have taken a while to get my drink otherwise. Ain’t nobody got time to wait for boba. I’d also been boba deprived for a couple of weeks so I was fine trying mini boba. The drink I received was plain black tea with hazelnut flavoring and no milk. The owners readily exchanged my drink for no cost to the correct order. They were very accommodating about the matter. The mini boba was good, but not something I would get again in a drink. Definitely worth a try once though. They were too small to enjoy slurping and chewing. I would opt to wait for larger boba next time if a similar situation occurs. Drinks of Friends: –Mango Green Tea w/Boba [probably the best one out of all that we ordered] –Mango Black Tea w/Boba –Melon Milk Tea w/Boba The mango flavoring compliments the green tea more-so than the black tea as green tea pairs well with citrus flavors. I was skeptical about melon tea, but was pleasantly surprised by how well the flavor carries through the tea. If you like melon flavored stuff, you’ll enjoy the tea. The hazelnut milk tea was good, but not something I’ll order again. The flavor was too subtle and the tea was not much different than regular milk tea. Not the best boba place, but this is definitely a place I would order from again. A big plus is that you have the option to change how much sugar gets put in your drink. There is a minimum purchase of $ 3.50 for credit cards, but most drinks are $ 3.00 and adding boba is an extra 50 cents.

My favorite place to get bubble tea in Austin is the Tea Lounge on Parmer! However, I came upon this place the other day while I was in Round Rock and it is pretty good as well! They have Grapefruit green tea which they don’t have at the Tea Lounge! I’ve been looking for it since I left China!!! It’s the perfect drink for summer(although I enjoy it in winter as well!). I recommend the grapefruit green tea with no sugar and aloe vera! It’s a refreshing drink and it’s sweet enough even without sugar! My friend got a vanilla frappé drink and he said it was pretty good as well! I like that they also offer to reduce sugar or ice levels like the Tea Lounge because I feel that regular sugar level bubble tea is usually too sweet for my taste! This place is nice for studying and seems to be pretty quiet. I just wish they had more outlets!

It irritates me when cashiers are so obsessed with their cell phones. When they were paying attention, they were nice and attentive. The area was comfortable and clean. The tea was just okay. Nothing special. I’ll stick to my usual bubble tea spot.

Wow. There sure are plenty of folks who passionately love this place in their reviews. And I’m _not_going to disagree with those who say this place is «the best in Round Rock for bubble tea». But… isn’t that like saying that the 2014UT Football Team is the best college football team in Austin? *ducks and runs* Pluses? — Friendly staff — Plentiful parking(even though it looks like their ‘reserved’ spots are abused by folks coming to the liquor store next door) — I love my Vitamix, but am still envious of the commercial-grade Blendtec blenders — It’s a better addition to that shopping center than yet-another-pawn-shop Bu my litmus test for bubble tea, taro, was a bit meh, and the tapioca was a bit hard. I didn’t even finish it(And seriously, do I look like I don’t finish things?). I think in this case, the unsweetetened powder mix, which allows flexibility for sweetness, or using sugar vs. Splenda, may still be perplexing the staff. I was hoping things would all be worked out since they have been open a couple months. But the bottom line has to be the product served. The location is pretty far north and east in «the Rock». So it’s not exactly centrally located. If I was on the south end of Round Rock, say where Louis Henna meets I-35, and REALLY needed a bubble tea, I’d probably head south to the Parmer/Lamar places I like better. The googles tell me driving time would be about the same. If I was at Ikea, well… I’d probably go to Jamba. I really hope they get the recipes down better. But for now, when I think about the bubble tea places I have four-starred in Austin, I have to rate Sunrise Teahouse a touch lower. 3.4 stars.

I came on Saturday 8⁄16 at around 4. The set up is very nice and comfortable. The drinks are superb. It’s better than the Teapioca lounge because of the flavor and fast service and personalized customer service aswell. They greet you right at the door and the workers seemed very insightful about their drinks

August 1, 2014 at around 4:45pm was when I decided to try this new bubble tea place. I remember it distinctly because I left my phone that afternoon and I failed to check-in. Thanks to Unilocal I get antsy without my phone. I came in and the place was pretty mellow save for a couple of kids who were waiting for their order and maybe 7 employees behind the register. The girl who took my order asked how sweet I wanted it. It took me a second to answer because normally you dont get asked that at bubble tea places. You just ask for extra tapioca and thats it. Maybe its a good thing for customers watching their sugar intake? Anyway, the girl informed me that they put 2 scoops of sugar per smoothie and I should just ask them to add more if it didnt satisfy me. It took them a good 10 minutes before I was handed my order. Thats too much time for a drink especially since I had a class to get to but maybe they just need more training. I wont hold it against a newly opened establishment. However, in my haste to make it to my workout class, I failed to try the drink before leaving. Boy was that a mistake! The Avocado cream smoothie was so bland. I wonder how sanitary that is if they would have to return the smoothie to the blender and have them add more sugar. I suggest they try and work on the sweetness of the smoothies. Itll save time and money. Overall, it was an okay experience. I trust theyll be able to work on a few kinks. Until then, just 3 stars from me.
