Starbucks

As much as I like the Starbucks a couple of blocks away on University, I really enjoy this location while at the Round Rock Outlets. This location introduced me to several new drinks upon visiting the Austin area for the first time three years ago, as well as provides a great pick-​me-​up whenever I need a break from the road when traveling northbound I-​35 en route to Fort Worth.
The last visit was quite memorable. I was a bit short on change and indicated that instead of a dopio expresso with old-​fashioned doughnut, I would just settle for the dopio expresso instead. I took a quick bathroom break and returned to seeing my dopio expresso already prepared, as well as the doughnut awaiting me in a bag. I indicated to the male barista that I only paid for the drink, to which he indicated (with a smile) that the doughnut was on him, and that he wished that I had a good beginning of the day.
A pretty cool thing in paying it forward! This was certainly a gesture that was completely unexpected, yet highly appreciated. I’ve already had a good impression of this location in prior visits, yet this small gesture made a difference in my overall day.
Great service, good location within the outlets, and has a good amount of outdoor seating within the small plaza. Will definitely keep returning!

Worst service ever! Took them 15 minutes to make my drink and I was the only customer in there. Never again!

The guy making the drinks is very nice and knows what he’s doing, but he has a super long beard with no beard net on! I don’t want facial hair in my drink!!!

Worst service ever had to get a refund on two different occasions after waiting more than 30 minutes. Don’t stop here

The latte I ordered came out fine. Just like any other SB I’ve visited. They’ve got that going for them. However, we came during the holiday shopping weekend and their line was ridiculously long. I can understand a wait — and I don’t mind it in the least bit (I’m a very patient person) — but 15+ min to order and another 15+ for the drink just seemed absurdly ridiculous. It was cold and I was desperate.

Came to this location to pick up a hot tea. As customary this drink is served with two cups. So when the barista didn’t double up the cups. Of course I would ask, that’s when she mentioned their manager asked for them to stop this process. To much of my disbelief, I was said do you realize how hot that water gets.
So I of course left without my drink, and said I’d be going to another location.

A little slow… but always friendly and dependable. Coffee is never burnt, lines more fast and the covered patio is awesome.
