This cute little yarn shop has an entrance on the backside of the building. It is light and bright inside with lots of different yarns to choose from! There are free classes offered here as well!

Yarns you can not get anywhere else, classes at a reasonable price everyone can afford, Group projects (but if you don’t finish come on back in anytime and you get help) Traffic not a problem. Make friends. The best Yarn shop I have been to in Years.

Love, Love, Love RR Yarn and Fiber — even my kids love going and petting the yarn and talking to the owner, Dawn, about all things fiber-​related. Dawn is fantastic and so helpful. Keep in mind that this is a small shop, so not the selection of, say, Hill Country Weavers, but she supports small and independent yarn makers which I appreciate. Some really great yarns you won’t find anyplace else.

I stopped by this shop a little bit ago seeking the wisdom and help of the owner, Dawn. I was stuck on a very simple problem and finally got fed up enough to stop trying to figure it out alone. Dawn welcomed me in and even remembered me from a couple of visits I had made within the past few months. She helped me figure out where I was going wrong, showed me how to move forward properly, and even showed me a technique — a lifeline? helpline?- for the next tricky row in my project.
This is a nice little shop right near the downtown area of Round Rock. It is in an old house, not part on the strip. Dawn has a nice variety of yarn to choose from, as well as needles and necessary tools (notions? Does that apply?) for knitting and crocheting. Prices are comparable to other independent yarn shops in Austin and the surrounding area.
There is parking around back, on one side, and in the front. The shop, I think, might easily be overlooked if you aren’t on the lookout. I would definitely recommend this store. Aside from her stock, Dawn has been very friendly and helpful every single time I’ve been in. It’s never fun to go into an independent store like that and either be ignored or be treated with sub-​par customer service. This has happened to me several times in other yarn stores, so Dawn’s friendliness makes a good impression n me.
