Food is always consistent. Nothing special, but good. Always order 3 piece spicy chicken dinner(2 wings & breast) w/red beans & rice. Food is always consistent. Very clean inside. Never had the same order taker twice. Have has some that are super nice to border line rude.

Disclaimer: only had biscuits and sweet tea to go from drive thru on Thanksgiving Day. Biscuits are delicious and a good price. Kinda have a sweet taste to them and my niece really enjoyed them as well. We added some blackberry jam to them just for the flavor but they are pretty dang good on their own. The sweet tea was essentially sugar water. They need to either use more tea bags or steep longer. I made some unsweetened tea at home and split with this and it was perfect. The tea is a too expensive not to have flavor: $ 5 a gallon. The person at the drive thru was pretty nice and patient but she forgot to give me the tea and I had to ask for it.

Don’t go to this location unless you have a LOT of time. I gave two stars because the food is good. The drive thru Is a joke as they are SLOW. I won’t even attempt unless I have twenty mins to waste. They make you sit at the order screen for at least two to three mins before even greeting you. Terrible.

I’ll never go to this location again. Here’s why: Upon arrival at the drive-thru, the very first person my wife and I encountered, the person taking orders, was rude. She was rushing us, and sounded annoyed that we somehow wanted to add more to our order. When we got to the window, I asked to speak to a manager. Wouldn’t you know it, he was the manager! I informed him that the person taking orders was being rude, and how so. He just didn’t really agree with me. First, he explained how busy they were, as if that excuse would have been sufficient. After that, he assured me that she wasn’t being rude at all! Fuck me, right?! At this point, I knew a free meal was in sight. Rude employees aren’t a complete loss. Oh, but they weren’t finished. I asked to speak with someone higher than himself, and at first he said he was it. Finally, I was able to get a first name out of him, accompanied by a satisfied little smirk. I persisted, and got a last name. But the whole experience was quite annoying. I spoke to what looked like a «team leader» of sorts and got a number to their corporate office. I explained the whole ordeal, a couple of weeks later received an apology letter, along with a coupon for an entire feast for my wife and I, completely free of charge. Kudos to the Popeye’s company for taking care of its customers, just avoid this location at all costs.

definitely the true definition of «I have had better». 9⁄10 times they mess up my order! Why do I keep going back? the food is good. I love the tenders. Not the chicken on the bone, that’s for sure. It’s way too greasy. Last time I came here they didnt add the extra side my husband ordered. but charged us for it. It was drive-thru so I didn’t catch it till I got home. Time before that, we ordered inside b/c they were so busy outside: and they just didnt even add the extra side onto the order. Since they didnt charge us for it. and the line inside was now really long so we just left without it. saving calories I guess… I wish we had another one closer, that was better service!

Popeyes fried chicken used to be good but now it’s just some soggy nasty old chicken.

My husband and I stopped by for a quick bite before heading to a movie. We both ordered the two piece combo that comes with two pieces of chicken, a side, a biscuit and a drink. The drink was fine and the biscuit was tasty. Even so, the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. I had the mac and cheese as a side and was disappointed. It was very bland and parts of it were hard and dry. This is not the kind of food you serve, rather it’s the type you toss out. I doubt we will ever return.

My lunch was ruined today. I had a meeting in Georgetown and I was heading back to Austin and stopped at Popeyes in Round Rock. I asked that they include honey for my biscuit and Mustard dipping sauce. They did neither. It’s not like I can go back and get those things they forgot. That’s like ordering a salad and they give you no dressing! VERYDISAPPOINTED

Their customer service was awful. Went through drive thru ordered a spicebox combo AFTER telling me to pull around she rudely said how«it’ll be 5 – 6 mins on chicken» I paid and waited there was a couple cars waiting in front of me as well. After 15 mins, the 2 cars ahead of me had been given their chicken and they including the rude drive thru attendant all staring in my face I drove back around to the window. She wanna smile and act like she was gonna take me my food and act surprised when I was right there. Said«they hadn’t dropped it» not I’m sorry for your wait, not let me get a manager for a refund or discount next time just blamed it on someone else. They all apparently had enough time on their hands to be messing around in the restaurant but couldn’t get someone’s order out. And it wasn’t hot, fries stale but sack was full of condiments I didn’t need or ask for. #GARBAGE

The food was pretty delicious and the place looked clean. The only thing that worries my bf and me was the bum that was sitting in the drive-thru. We informed the manager and he chased him off. We feared he could get run over since his legs were in the area cars drove over

I was really excited to drive by for some spicy chicken. As I was ordering at the drive through I could hear what to me sounded like sniffing snot and a congested person struggling with a runny nose. I don’t like hearing snot get sucked up by the person handling my food so I cancelled and drove off.

We’ve been huge Popeye’s fans for over a decade, love the cajun flavor. But, every time we try this one it’s like the staff is having a contest to see how bad they can treat us. The lady at the drive thru is hands down the rudest, most unhelpful customer service person we’ve ever encountered in Central Texas or at any Popeye’s in the entire country. After we let her talk to us like we were the scum of the earth, we drove off and went to the one on Grimes where an exceptionally nice young man took our order, served us some hot, delicious food and away we went. Bottom line: avoid this Popeye’s unless it’s the only restaurant left on Earth and you haven’t eaten for two weeks. I’d sooner hunt down and eat a rat as ever give them my hard earned money again.

My wife and I both ordered the crawfish tacklebox, the crawfish were pretty small and were good but not great… for $ 5.99 I wasn’t expecting awesome. They came with a drink and a biscuit and one side… the red beans and rice was pretty good, and the cole slaw was good too.

I ate enough Popeyes growing up in La that I must be part chicken. I’ve noting in particular to say about their food other than I find it consistent and flavorful. They’ve done an interesting job exporting and marketing La food but honestly it’s way more than chicken in La. Service is fine, food is good and this one is close to home so I’ll stop in occasionally. Where else can I hear Dr. John while I eat a chicken wing?

Its Pop-Eyes, yo. Lol MM. so, this location(and most come to think of it) almost never disappoint. Their food taste and quality is almost always consistent. Pricey at times, but its a good Shrimp Po Boy w a side and drink for $ 6 – 7.Their biscuits are heavenly, and their honey is perfect. Fries, strange and accustomed to. Potatoes & gravy, 10 times better than ANY chicken joint. Tenders, perfect. They have some interesting folks working there, always have, lol– but its good stuff! My 1st stop for fried chicken & tenders.

Popeye’s cares about me and my health. It’s quite brilliant, actually. The employees here are intentionally surly, and the service is glacially slow by design. It’s like the old quote: «It is good that war is so terrible, lest we grow fond of it.» Would I want to live in a world where Popeye’s is blazing fast and friendly? That would be a world in which I weighed 450 pounds and had the diabeetus. Let’s talk about portion size. I ordered the 5 piece chicken tender meal for lunch. I am a gluttonous pig, so the 3 piece just wouldn’t do. Popeye’s thoughtfully provided only 3 tenders, ensuring a more reasonable portion size for my lunch. I don’t appreciate paying for tenders that I did not receive, but I suppose that my health is what matters the most. Thank you, Popeye’s! Don’t ever change!
