Not what I expected. Definitely not coming back. Staff(some)have no idea what is going on. They have a system where they can text you when you table is ready. We came in and said we could seat inside or outside and there were couple of tables outside(empty) for like 15 minutes and I had to come and said something, by coincidence we got seat at one of those two empty tables. The sitting system NOT good. The wings: well, not what I expected, didn’t taste good. The Beer: Michelada, a total waste of my money. NOBUENO.

My all time favorite chicken wing place! I always go for the ranch and spicy ranch and lemon pepper! The fire in hole sauce on the side is awesome with the wings! As for the appetizers we usually get fried pickles and the potatoes chips!

I went to Pluckers as a party of 5. I was expecting I would accomodated usual friendly Texas manner. I ask the waitress for reduced portion and was denied. I then gave the waitress the card from my Doctor explaining a MEDICALNEED and ask the waitress to check with her Manager. I was complicated rejected again. Their only suggestion was take the leftovers home. I’m traveling today, so that was not an option for me. Baritric people beware!!!

Been here a few times now and always dissatisfied. This is essentially a mega-sports bar with every available inch covered with TVs playing different games. If you’re not a sports fan, this probably isn’t the place for you. If you are, then be prepared for typical sports bar hygiene — everything is always sticky here. The menus, the chairs, the table tops, etc. If you’re looking for a light or healthy meal then this definitely isn’t the place for you. For those of us who don’t want to have a heart attack at 40, there’s not a single truly healthy food item on the menu. Who needs to eat fried macaroni, fried cheese, and fried pickles on one plate?! I’ve had the salads and they’re loaded up with so much cheese and high calorie toppings you’re better off ordering a wings platter. Speaking of the wings, I’m pretty sure all the sauces have about 5 tablespoons of added sugar per serving. And the sides are a various assortment of more fried foods(tater tots, french fries) and macaroni. The service is hit or miss here. When it’s bad I think it’s because they are constantly overwhelmed by busy crowds but when it’s good, it’s good. There are a few positives about this place though. One being that if despite all these things you’re still a fan, they do have a rewards program where you can get a free meal on your birthday as well as free appetizers from time to time. It’s also kind of neat that you can buy a 34oz beer, even though it’s mostly crap like Bud Light and Dos Equis. The have a pretty nice outdoor patio with mister fans, if you’re able to get a table out there.

I really enjoy Puckers, but do not visit it often as it is inconvenient from my home. I can sum up the review in five words: cold beer and delicious wings That’s all you really need to know. If you get any of the many great options, go with the boneless wings. They are very meaty and extremely tasty. You just cannot go wrong with this place.

I seriously must just have odd experiences here. Came in tonight for a «late» dinner with my family at 7pm. Asked what the wait was, as it’s a family place and as a family, we have time constraints in the evening. Was told«we aren’t giving time quotes right now because it’s trivia night so we are just having people wait.» I just stare at the hostess…“huh…okay???” And walk off. This is the second time this has happened here. Therefore, I’m on my way to the cedar park location where I have had zero issues.

OK, I will base this review on my first tip. NEVER wait for a table. The wait is insane. People will wait like an hour to eat here. I lost patience for waiting a few years back. These days, I go for bar seating. Time it right and you wait 5 minutes. Once you are sat, the wings are the best(I recommend the buffalo hot,) waffle fries delicious, the bar staff is literally moving at the speed of light. Great place to watch games.

Pluckers is my favorite wing place for one reason-thr spicy lemon pepper sauce. I wish I knew how to make it. As for the restaurant, I have mixed feelings. Tables are usually sticky, especially out near the bar area. They don’t get cleaned. The wait for a table is quiet long. My last two carry out attempts were horrible. The first one, the chicken was old and my food looked like someone’s cancelled order. Today I called for carryout and was put on hold for 6 minutes. After holding, they asked for my phone number and then hung up on me. I called back numerous times getting a voicemail that says rhey are closed. Then, finally a girl answered and apologized saying they have a really old phone system that does that sometimes… really? I asked to not be put on hold again and she said I have to hold. It was then I said never mind. I decided to go to another wing place. Customer service needs some help.

First off this review is for Kurt, our server. This pluckers is great. Good food, atmosphere, and just overall a fun place. However there is a darkness here, a stain on Pluckers good name and that stain is Kurt. We sat down at a table and waited 15 minutes before Kurt came and gave us menus. He took our drink orders and moments later we had them. After we decided what we wanted we waited for Kurt to come and he never did. Instead he could be seen flirting with what appeared to be one of the bartenders. He talked to her for about 7 minutes before heading towards us. Thank god we thought but instead he went to a table of 16 year old girls and began flirting with them as well. He walked past and around our table at least 11 times before taking our orders. When our food was brought out it was by a different waitress and she apologized about Kurt not bringing it to us. We ate the food which was delicious but we ran out of drinks. I had a sprite and my friend, a beer. We had ordered the Fire in the Hole wings and definitely needed the drinks. Kurt began walking towards us and we tried to get his attention, he told us just a second and went to flirt with the underage girls again. We were dying… after what seemed like an hour and was really 15 minutes Kurt came and asked what we needed. We told him more drinks. I got my new drink quickly only to find it was just Soda water. My friend however wasn’t so lucky. He never got his beer. Ever. I guess Kurt might be a great server if you’re an underage girl that he thinks he can easily pick up, but to all us men who want to drink beer and eat wings Kurt is a stain on Pluckers, on Hospitality and on The Great State of Texas. I hope he knows about the age of consent… pervert.

I have always had a great experience at this location. I love the spicy ranch, buffalo medium and spicy lemon pepper wings. Their fried pickles are really good. They are not pickle chips, but pickle spears. There have been times when I had to wait 15 – 20 mins for a table. This is usually when sports are on. Their staff is friendly. Their food is good… try it out! I love their waffle fries and like to get spicy ranch to dip it in.

I swear to God it’s always something with this place and THIS location specifically. Last time there was no running water to wash my hands in the woman’s bathroom and today a literal puddle of grease discovered at the bottom of my tots basket. Patting them down did little to help. This place needs to get its shit together(especially since my husband insists on giving it second chances). Not to mention, the kitchen vents weren’t working so the smoke really lingered.

In all honesty, I would choose Pluckers as my last meal if I had a choice. I even chose Pluckers as my dinner spot before prom almost 20 years ago. I’ve been a huge fan since they opened their first location on campus. Of course the wings are bomb(my personal faves are spicy ranch and spicy bbq) but what really stands out are the fried mushrooms and micheladas. Get the wings extra wet and get your fries tossed in the spicy ranch seasoning!

Hands down, Pluckers is my go to spot for delicious, fresh, plump chicken wings. I have tried many places that pride themselves on chicken wings, such as Wing Stop, but Pluckers takes the gold on every wing place you have dined at. Usually dining at the Austin or San Marcos location(s), this was my first time at this location. I enjoyed a quick 10 piece wing combo lunch special. My go to wing flavor: spicy lemon pepper. This mixed flavor consistent of their mild sauce and lemon pepper; tangy and sour at the same time. I have never had a bad Pluckers experience. Ever since dining at Pluckers in Austin, I can’t see myself spending money on chicken wings are other establishments. If you haven’t experienced Pluckers yet, do yourself a favor and indulge in delicious food.

Sitting at a dirty table for ten minutes with no menus or water. Fiancé decided to clean the table himself and find menus. I mean seriously, I know it’s Sunday, but this is pretty terrible service. Another five minutes have passed and finally someone comes to wipe down the table. We came here because I wanted fried pickle spears and boy were they good! It was worth the dirty table. The queso was good, but the chips were gross. They had a strange taste. The queso paired well with my waffle fries. I tried a tater tot off fiancé’s plate and it was gross. It tasted like frozen tots that were in the freezer past the expiration date. I got the veggie sandwich which wasn’t bad, but it was really messy to eat. The sautéed veggies were really good. I don’t think the sandwich needed avocado, which was pretty over ripe. Once we finally got a waitress, she was wonderful! Overall, it was OK. I’d come back for the pickles, but that’s about it.

It’s game day. We stopped here to eat some wings and catch the Chicago Bears and KC Chiefs game. My husband and I ordered the 4 piece boneless chicken wings with sweet potato waffle fries. My wings were spicy barbecue and my husband’s buffalo hot. I mean hot! They were so hot I couldn’t eat them and so hot my husband couldn’t finish them! The wings were more like chicken strips than wings, which was okay. However, the serving was humongous. We both could only eat two pieces. The atmosphere is fun. Everyone is friendly. There are about 20 screens where you can see several games in real time. No matter who you root for everyone is happy to see a team score. If your looking for good food, great fun and excellent hospitality, this is the place. We’ll be back.

Never disappoints however this visit they must of been short staffed. The wings are becoming more and more messy with the sauce. Seems it’s just poured on plain wings. They still taste the same as before. Prices have seemed to go up a little. But still worth it.

If you need a buffalo wing fix, pick Pluckers! Great for lunch or dinner! The RR Pluckers location is easy to get to, and also close to a Boot store and gun shop! So much Texas in a little area! This place can fill up quickly for lunch or during the evening for big games and UFC fights — be sure to plan accordingly. The food is fantastic. I always get the Baker’s Gold sauce, on the tenders(basket with waffle fries). B Gold tastes different enough to not feel like you’re eating the same buffalo chicken, but with the same spice. The Dr. Pepper is not good. Parmesan Garlic is good. A «rub» is just basically dry tender with some dust on it, I would steer clear. They have most standard beer selections and some good specials at times. The service is pretty basic. Bits of your order may be wrong, but we are always told it was the«kitchen’s fault». There is always a trainee following the server around, leading me to think there is a lot of turnover, but whatever, we eat well when we come here. Sometimes they give out coupon cards for free meals! You can also get these at CPC or other events around Austin, Cedar Park, and Round Rock. Overall, a great wing place!
