John F Lann, DDS

My family and I have been going to Dr. Lann for years. We are so happy to finally find a good family dentist. I recently had a crown put on a back tooth and he does it in his office makes it so much easier. He also did my son’s braces, he did an EXCELLENT job. My son hated going to the dentist but he gives me no problem going to Dr. Lann. If you are looking for a family atmosphere and quality care this is the place to go. Everyone in his office is, sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and caring.

Could not have been any more wonderful with Kiddo. Dental hygienist explained everything, let Kiddo look at the dental tools, play in the dental chair, made teeth cleaning really important and fun. Closing with a trip to the prize drawer. Kiddo still mentions the «sugar bugs» that we need to brush out. Really nice staff. Great with kids even though the place doesn’t look very kid-​friendly.

I have a severe fear of dentists and this was a great experience. I have very sensitive teeth, so it was nice that they were willing to work with me on my fears/​pains. I bought a groupon for $ 49 and it was totally worth it!

My family have been patients of Dr. Lann for 15 years! He is a very caring and honest person. Woulo not go anywhere else.

Due to a traumatic dental experience as an 8-​year-​old, I was the poster child for lifelong oral health neglect. Finally, at the age of 50 and unable to put off treatment any longer, I went to see my wife’s long-​time dentist, Dr. Lann. He gradually put me at ease (I don’t even need the nitrous anymore) and now, after 15 years and multiple corrective procedures (he performed a root canal and 2 hours later I was eating a cheeseburger!), I actually look forward to my visits with all the great folks at Stonegate Dentistry. They’re fantastic people who are fun to be around. Make an appointment. You’ll be very glad you did.

I couldn’t be happier with this place. The staff and hygienists are very friendly and responsive, the office is really nice/​new/​clean, and they do a thorough job while still being prompt in all phases.
I actually really liked my previous dentist but they were always so busy I would have to reschedule for months later if I couldn’t make my appointment time. Stonegate has all the pluses of my old dentist without any of the minuses.

My family of 5 have been patients of Dr. Lann since moving to the area more than 15 years ago. In all those years we have never even thought about changing dentists. Dr. Lann and his entire staff are some of the friendliest, truly caring, consummate professionals you will ever meet. They always exhibit the highest integrity. I have recently had a challenging experience with my dental insurance company and Christina spent hours trying to resolve it with them. They always go the extra mile to make sure we are well taken care of and I am so appreciative of that. We are considering moving to a town 120 miles away and we have already decided that we would rather drive that distance than give up Stonegate Denistry. They are REALLY THAT GOOD! If Unilocal had a way of doing it, I would give them 10 stars!

I’m with her ^^^ I cannot believe that there aren’t anymore reviews for this Dentistry! Yes, I admit it… I bought a Groupon for a Cleaning!!! I was pretty embarrassed bc I hadn’t been to the Dentist in forever due to moving locations, and then on top of that, being a Groupon purchaser…& reading negative reviews of other Groupon offers… eek…but Christina, the RDH, treated me as if I had been coming to them for years! She really made me feel comfortable and explained all of my random questions in a thorough manner. And speaking of thorough, I have never had such a quality cleaning in MY LIFE… which is SCARY. Their Office and Staff are immaculate which is also comforting. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you Stonegate Dentistry!

I don’t believe there aren’t more Unilocal reviews for this place. They are consummate professionals and care more than you would ever know.
This is why I am writing another review:
My 17 month old fell and it looked like he had knocked one of his front teeth out. He was bleeding everywhere and I was very scared. It was 7 pm and I didn’t know if I should take him to the ER or what to do. I called Stonegate Dentistry (Dr. Lann) because I remembered their voice mail having an emergency after hours number. I called the emergency number and Dr. Lann came on the phone. He was SO kind and helpful. He even offered to meet us at his practice so he could look over the baby’s mouth and reassure me. He told me to call back if I needed anything else!
This morning, the 1^st call was from his office to check up on our son. We took him to a pediatric dentist in case they needed to do any work on him and Dr. Lann and his staff asked us to call and let them know how he did at the appointment.
When I called, a different person than I had spoken with in the morning answered the phone and when I started to speak to relay the message (That the baby was ok and had the Pediatric dentist visit, etc), she immediately stopped me when she heard my name and said, «oh, Lyla, we have all been waiting to hear from you. How is the baby? Come in and see us or call us if you need anything.» That’s what I call a caring practice. My son has never been there, they have never met him for that matter, but that fact that they all cared so much to check in and ask about him has really touched me.
They are a modern, state of the art practice, in a new building and they are fantastic. If I moved 100 miles away, I would still drive to 620 and Cat Hollow to see Dr. Lann and the ladies of Stonegate Dentistry.

Dr. Lann has been my family’s dentist for 7 years. He is very personable and makes dental work a breeze. He has always been honest and upfront with what needs to be done without being pushy or trying to sell on me. He has pulled my kids teeth out and filled cavities for them — and they walked out smiling and laughing.
He’s a great part of our community! I wish he was «in network» with my insurance, but he processes my claims and we have no problems!

Finally, after 25 years of going to the dentist I FINALLY find one that I like. Dr. Lann. Anyone out there have wisdom teeth? Do you enjoy being harassed by your dentist every time you visit about removal? Well, Dr. Lann still has his wisdom teeth and he didn’t’ bother me at all about mine. He is THE first dentist in 25 years that didn’t repeatedly nag me about this. Also, the hygienist that did my cleaning was very professional, very competent and nice. I actually received actually what I asked for, got billed for only what I asked for, and left happy. Seems like something easy, but NO dentist except for Dr. Lann seems to be able to accomplish this small feat. Also, my previous dentist had a huge list of things I HAD to get done. life-​threatening items that cost thousands. Every visit to my last dentist was a battle between my checkbook and their profit and loss statement. I am so glad I found Dr. Lann’s office :)
