Great customer service! Treated my wife and I both to a free medium sandwhich on our birthday. We have the same birthday, April 1st. Not a lot of people believe it’s our bday, but It really is. These guys did. They get a win in my book. Foods good too, our daughter likes the pickles.

This was my first time to fire house subs. I am vegetarian hence ordered the large veggie combo sub. It contained lettuce tomatoes onions peppers large cut cucumbers three cheeses and since I don’t like mushrooms they eliminated that. The sub was awful. It fell apart as I was eating it. It was tasteless. I like subway & enjoy their veggie delight however since I had never tried firehouse subs, I wanted to give it a try. Never again!

The restaurant was dirty. All but 2 tables were dirty, the fabric on the chairs were torn and the Coke machine was very dirty. The restaurant was not that busy and there was only 4 other people in the place and they were all together. The guy who was making the sandwiches has a beard and was not wearing any type hair net.

I came here after experiencing the hot mess that is Which Wich across the lot from this place. It’s definitely an improvement on that place(anything would be). Friendly staff greet you as you walk in, its clean, they have a good selection of subs and they taste pretty good. I went with the Italian sub as it didn’t have turkey in it(I’m turkey’d out after the holidays!) and for some reason a lot of their sandwiches have turkey in them. I have to say I prefer a Subway or Jimmy John’s but this is a solid lunch option if you’re in this shopping complex.

I really love the flavor of a firehouse sub, but who does the hiring at this location? The employees had greasy hair under a cap, saggy pants, sloppy oversized shirt, and in general looked like someone I don’t want anywhere near my food. At a place where you can see the person making your food; it seems like management would be sure their employees looked groomed. I was disgusted. Everyone looked like they rolled out of bed with a hangover, grabbed their work uniform off the floor, skipped brushing their hair or teeth, and came to prepare food. After my sandwich was paid for and made; I couldn’t even eat it. Gross. I’m getting disgusted just thinking about it.

I gave the last firehouse I reviewed 4 stars. This is not my home location. I visited this location around 1pm. The store wasn’t busy and there was one person in front of me. First it took almost 25 minutes to get my food. Why? The staff was watching football. I finally get my sandwich and it was cold. The inside is warmish but the outside bread is room temp. It tasted like crap. I don’t know what is wrong with this location but I know I will not be back.

Food is usually good, but you are one of the lucky few if they get your order right the first time. It also usually takes more than 20 minutes to get food, so it is not a good place to go during a lunch break. Staff is kind of out of it, and don’t really seem to care.

Mmmm. The Italian sub is do full of amazing flavor! It is unlike anything I have ever had! It blasts every other sub out of the water!

Worst customer service experience in a firehouse subs I have ever had. I will never visit your store again. The employees are playing around and service was extremely slow. I usually get great service at other stores too. This store won’t stay in business long unless they change somethings.

This review is to inform the management of happenings going on when they are not present. Having come to this location for five years I have seen the staff progressively get worse and worse at having a professional attitude and maintaining a pleasent and inviting atmoshere with each visit. Several of the staff seem to be more interested in disscussing their social life loud enough for everyone to hear which should probably be saved for after work, having conversations with friends that come in to this location instead of focusing on preparing food in a timely fashion(still not sure if they were giving away sandwiches or if they paid), and making mistakes on sandwiches then offering free sandwiches to make up for it(again too busy talking). Finally the gentleman with the tattoos on his left arm who seems to be the ringleader and talks to guests as if they are inferior or with a macho attitude is the main reason I am writing this review. Perhaps a chat is needed about customer service and the etiquette that should be followed when working in a dining establishment. The food has always been great which is the main reason for my return buisness. I would be sad to see this location go under because it is ran by high school or college age students who lack responsibility, direction, and the understanding that being employed does not entitle you to act immature at your job.

Great sandwiches with toasted buns and melted cheese. I usually get the Firehouse Hero. Huge selection of hot sauces, and one of those cool soda machines where you can mix any combination of flavors. Good stuff.

Food is always wonderful but the service and attitudes of the staff were not up to par. Of the 3 young guys working the front, no one ever said«Welcome to Firehouse». There was one in particular(tall, dark hair, tats, no nametag) who did not want to be there and even said so. As I was leaving, someone came in and Mr Bad Attitude said«Welcome to Schlotskys».

I have eaten at this location many times over the past year. I am a reformed Subway fan but my new favorite sandwich shop is now Firehouse. I really love the new chopped salads. The one with chicken salad on a bed of chopped lettuce is outstanding especially when you substitute the balsamic vinaigrette for the standard dressing. Brownie are very good as well! Great menu for a sandwich chain!

Firehouse subs is okay. just okay. It’s definitely tastier than somewhere like a subway but it’s also not the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I do appreciate that they have a calorie-conscious menu off to the side for all you calorie-counters out there. It’s an «under 500» calorie menu with salads and sandwiches. From this under 500 menu, I got the Hook and Ladder light with Hook & Ladder Light with: Smoked turkey, Virginia honey ham, Monterey Jack, lettuce, tomato, onion, spicy brown mustard, light mayo, and light wheat roll. 450 calories, and honestly not that bad! Customer service here is hit or miss. I’ve been here a couple times where I’ve gotten different cashiers who are either really upbeat and smiley… but I’ve also gotten some who are pretty indifferent to you as well. Overall, I’d probably come here for some sammies when I’m too lazy to make my own or want an above-average sandwich.

I love their cherry limeade, tuna sandwich, and steak sandwich which is why I gave them a three. The thing that irked me the most was the people working behind the counter. One time I come in, I receive great and fast service. The next time I come in, it’s a 20 minute wait for one sandwich, I’m missing my pickle(which to me is a must have when your eating a tuna sandwich), and the onions I asked for to be left out, were lo and behold in my sandwich!

My bf and I just moved to this area. Neither of us had ever been here but we’d seen several of them in Las Vegas while we lived there. I ordered the Italian and the bf ordered the Steamer. His was ok but he said I won that one. It was good but waAAAY TOOMUCHDRESSING. I dont even know what sauce ti was but it should be listed as the main ingredient b/c it seemed to overwhelm the whole thing, it was dripping. I ate the whole medium and was sick to my stomach. too much dressing but I knew I was about to move all my stuff to the 2nd floor and was going to need the energy for the nxt 5 hours or so. and I did. The people werent that friendly, the bathrooms were only single bathrooms so since my bf neededed to use it but there was a lil kid in there playing. really? sad. anyway If I ever came bk(which the medium sandwich is 910 calories alone! I’d get it w/no dressing. I think Subway cant be beat. It was $ 16 for 2 combos.

My husband and I, being new to the area, decided to try this particular restaurant because 1.) I was a volunteer firefighter for years and I’m all for contributing to a cause and 2.) we had a coupon for a free drink and chips with our order. We were reading through the menu board when we were asked«what do you want to get?», which is just NOT how you should ever ask a customer if they are ready to order. I explained that it was our first visit ever to one of their stores and asked what they would recommend, which only got me a response of «whatever you think you want to eat.» Um, now I almost walked out right there, but my husband was hungry. He ordered the Hook and Ladder and I got something with meatballs on it. Once again, the guy working the counter was just NOT helpful. He mumbled his words, talked under his breath, rolled his eyes at us and was really someone that I wanted to go over the counter after! He kept asking if my husband wanted it fully involved(he was mumbling) and when my husband said for the second time that he couldn’t understand what he was saying, that is when he rolled his eyes and just pointed at the menu sign. It took forever to get the sandwiches after we ordered them. Apparently it takes two employees to make two sandwiches and the third(Mr. Customer Service himself) just sat down on a stool at the counter and watched. Hey, here’s an idea for ya… how about you walk around the dining area and CLEANITUP. The floor was disgusting, there was meat, bread and chips on the floors, on the tables, in the chairs. The soda machine was, well, we won’t even discuss the soda machine. *Shivers* The sandwiches were sub-par at best, but then again maybe I was already in a foul mood because of the service and cleanliness issues. Never again will I step a foot into ANY of their establishments, regardless of the cause! Majorly rude service, too long to get food after ordering, the uncleanliness of the place and then the food just sub-par? Nah, I can think of a ton of other establishments where I can drop $ 20 on sandwiches and actually enjoy myself AND the food, not to mention NICER people.

I feel bad giving only 2 stars to a place with a noble cause but it’s the food and service I’m rating and not the cause. The spot is convenient to work so of course I tried it, over and over. It takes f.o.r.e.v.e.r to get a sandwich. Have yet to find one I really like. The steak or roast beef I had was tough and chewy. The ham is ridiculously sweet. Hot tuna does not interest me. And when I order tuna and say nothing on it, I don’t mean«go ahead and add the cheese.» What is that about? The service here was okay. People at the register are nice. Sandwich folks are just not moving much so it took way too long to get my order. I may be back because of the convenient location. Nothing has been so bad as to keep me away forever but I am still in search of a sandwich here that I can go back to time and again.

This is just an Ok sandwich. The meats are pretty sweet, but I think that is to balance the people who want to pile on hot sauces. I’m not one of those folks, so maybe someone with a desire for the fire would like it better. They have a counter full of hot sauces for folks to try. The sizes are pretty big and a medium combo is plenty for lunch. If you eat a large you are just being a pig. So pretend yo’ mamma is looking at you and watch your portion sizes, Porky! I like the fireman theme, and I hope they are as socially responsible to fire fighter charites as they lead us to believe. Will I be back? Yeah, probably if I’m in the mood for a sweet sandwich or if it is too convienient to go anywhere else. I’m not going out of my way for it, though.
