While I love fast fashion and the cheap prices that comes with it. I will spend money on good pieces. This is why I love Ann Taylor and its factory stores. This particular store has never failed me. There is always a sale and I usually have a coupon to get an additional discount. I’ve bought both casual and work pieces. I can normally save about $ 100-$ 200 in the factory store verses the regular store in the mall. Hell, I’m not going to lie. Sometimes the prices still feels like full mall prices. The customer service is always excellent. You are greeted at the door. There is always someone one on the sales floor and the wardrobe room. But never do you feel like you’re being hounded for a sale. If you’re ever in the Round Rock area. I highly recommend you check out the Ann Taylor store.

I love Ann Taylor! The clothes are very classy and the material doesn’t wear out. Great prices at the outlet and great customer service!

I’ve been shopping here since it opened. I love that the petite section is almost half of the store, and I can almost always find something, even if it’s just a top, that I like and will wear enough to justify the price. However, I’ve noticed that their prices are increasing while the level of customer service is decreasing. Recently I’ve noticed that their prices are actually nearly identical to the prices at the regular retail stores. I go to outlets to get good deals, and it is harder to find them here than it used to be. They do frequently have good sales, but so do regular Ann Taylor stores. In fact, if you join the email list and are willing to shop online, the«flash sales» at the non-outlet stores will save far more money than shopping here will. The exception to this is the large clearance section in the back of the factory store. If you’re willing to dig(like you would somewhere like Nordstrom Rack or TJ Maxx), you actually can save serious money. Periodically they have sales on clearance items as well, at which time it is absolutely worth shopping here. In the past, the service at this store was on par with service at regular Ann Taylor stores– someone was always offering help looking for something specific or finding your size. Someone always started a fitting room for me as soon as I was carrying more than a couple of items, and once in the fitting room, someone would check in, offer to bring me other sizes, etc. not only is this basic retail curtesy, it’s also good business to help the customer find something she’ll buy. However, the last several times I’ve shopped there, help was nowhere to be found. One evening last week, Despite the fact that I was one of 2 customers in the entire store, I was never greeted at all, no one checked on me in the fitting room, asked if I needed anything… I was, in fact, completely ignored. At one point I had a question about a sale, so I asked an employee who was working on something in the stock room near the fitting room, and I had to ask twice in order to get her attention, and when I did she acted like I was an pest rather than a customer wanting to give them my business. I then stood at the register for 3 full minutes waiting for the employee who was doing something 3 feet from me and who had looked at me as I walked up(although she didn’t acknowledge me) before I could make my purchases. As she was checking me out, she literally said nothing to me until she was ready for me to pay. I returned a couple of days later to return some things, and received the same treatment and the same attitude from a different set of employees. Despite the fact that I like their clothes, I don’t think I’ll be shopping at this store again.
