Beautiful settings in the heart of the the Gold country. Guest house is nice and perfectly set up for a wedding party or women’s retreat etc.

We had a wonderful wedding with all out family. The staff was helpful with our needs from the start. We had 6 months to plan and was worried about getting the date we wanted. The grounds are lovely with parking and a nice area to get dressed. We were very happy with the entire venue and memories.

Lifetime Ranch is a joke!!! I was in a wedding that was held at Lifetime Ranch in Rough and Ready, CA in June 2011. My frends that got married at Lifetime Ranch paid over $ 2000 to use the property with little other services being offered. The wedding party(and friends, thank you) set up ALL the tables and chairs along with adding all the linens and décor. Lifetime Ranch did NONE of this. The night of the wedding, the groom and us groomsmen met at one of the groomsmen’s truck, and enjoyed a shot together in celebration. The«person» in control(don;t know if I want to call her a «lady») came down and threatened to kick us off the property for drinking liquor. We had no problem with the rules(which we hadn’t known), only the way in which this«person» handled the situation… completely classless. The next morning, when the bride and groom should be enjoying their first day of marital bliss, they had to join the rest of the party in cleaning off the tales and rolling them to a storage area along with over 150 chairs. We planned on just removing the décor and piling the linens… then…“person” comes out and says we have to carry over 150 chairs to the other side of the property to store them. When«person» was questioned as to why the wedding party was doing this and not Lifetime Ranch, «person’s» reason was…“we had the guys out here for 7 days in a row working, so I had to give them a week off, and there’s no one here to do it.” After that, I looked around to see what these guys had done over 7STRAIGHTDAYS… nothing…they created a path out of bark for the bride and bridesmaids to walk up from the bottom of the hill to the altar… THAT’S IT!!! In the end, the chairs were moved to the other side of the property to avoid any issues and to just get it over with. If it were me, Lifetime Ranch would be in for a fight!!! Don’t waste your money and most of all, your time!
