Mainstream Hair Studio

I took my 12 year old daughter here today for highlights and cut and style I had a Groupon coupon and was amazed with the wonderful job Maddalena did with her hair! She was so wonderful and patient with my daughter. I will definitely be going there soon again not only for my daughter but for myself as well!

Yay! I’m so happy with my haircut with Bobbie Jo today. My first time there and I’m definitely going back. Found the salon through Unilocal reviews – and all the good stuff others said is true. I wanted a new, edgy look for my gray (silver) hair. Took a picture of a hairstyle found on Pinterest, which really helped me communicate what I was looking for. Bobbie Jo talked me through what she was doing with the cut and really listened to what I wanted. The end result is a fun, trendy, precision cut that rocks! Price for a cut was reasonable, music was good, and BobbieJo is fun! Definitely going back!

I went to Mainstream Hair Studio last week to get some summer highlights. I went because Groupon was offering a great deal which included highlights, a conditioning treatment, styling and blow dry. I have long and thick hair, so I was certain that I would be charged a little extra as I always am at most salons.
I got there and Danielle was going to be my stylist for the day. Someone had made a mistake with her scheduling, so she was running behind that day, but she still welcomed me. She let me know that it would be $ 25.00 extra because of the length and thickness of my hair, which I was prepared to pay.
Overall, the appointment took forever because of the scheduling conflicts as Danielle was trying to help other customers in between my drying times. But Danielle was extremely professional, fun to talk too, and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and what I wanted to have done that day.
At the end, even though the appointment took a long a long time, I was very satisfied with my hair cut and highlights, and also because Danielle was such a pleasure to work with. The icing on the cake was when I went to pay the extra $ 25.00, Danielle said that she wouldn’t be charging me for the extra as I was very patient even though the appointment took a long time. That was a very nice thing to do and I left the salon extremely happy because she made me feel like that I was an important customer to them and that they valued my business.
Needless to say, the next time I get a cut and/​or color done, I will definitely be going back to Mainstream Hair studio. And trust me when I say that I don’t say that very often about hair salons.

I had a wonderful experience at Mainstream Hair Studio! I wanted to color my hair darker, and absolutely loved the end product. Bobby Jo exceeded my expectations! I will be back. I highly recommend her and her salon!

Bobby Jo is great. I had a living social deal and wanted to get a cut/​color before my graduation ceremony, so I headed out to the salon last week. There are tons of magazines and a Keurig coffee maker so get comfortable! She also has great music playing too. I’ve been coloring my hair for years, but usually out of a box. Bobby Jo picked a great, dark red/​auburn color for my hair. I would never have picked that color in a boxed hair dye, but it turned out great on me. She’s really a pro at coloring which is great. She even got a subtle highlights in my hair without having to do any foils or separate coloring, which looks great. She also picked a great layered cut for me, and the blowout was fabulous. It lasted through a few days til my graduation and still looked great. I would definitely recommend her, especially for coloring, and will definitely go back!

OK, I was in my way home and on impulse decided I was going to get a hair cut. This place took walk ins and wasn’t crowded so I gave it a shot. The salon is new (Sept.2010) clean, has good tunes and the owner is super friendly.
I hate taking a chance on someone new but Bobby Jo did a great job. Will go back again…
