listen up children of color… if you need a good meal with excellent service, this is not the place. I was visiting the area due to work, and wanted a really hearty meal. As i arrived there i had attitude from the beginning to the end of my visit there. From pickles being thrown across the register towards me to them overcharging my meal and fighting about who’s fault it was. Last i heard, make the customer happy and just execute the issue and get the customer out happy. I did not get a greeting coming in and only on the way out by a Hispanic man. I guess this place only welcomes and appreciates the local people of Roslyn and doesn’t want business from outside of that village. Never recommending this location and disgusted with the amount of attitude i got from my entire time there. The girls in the front were the main ones and got upset when i mentioned the salad i picked up had a hair in it. This is the reason businesses go downhill… due to the rudeness and judgement of who walks through that door… good luck deli… you’re going to need it because i will let everyone in my company know how bad of a service i had there. «you never know who walks through that door»

This restaurant does not know how to get their job done. Do not go here.
I ordered for delivery and an hour later I still didn’t receive my food, and when I got in contact with them (almost impossible to get in contact with them), they said they never received my order-​but I had an online receipt with a confirmation number. Pretty much they forgot to print out my order.
I was told not to order from here and I thought, why not give them the benefit of the doubt. I immediately regretted it. Again, do not order from here. Horrible service.

Grossest thing ive ever experienced in a food place. I was in today and 1 of the guys making the salads dropped his glove then put it back on THEN put it under his armpit and THEN into the salad tray. It sounds unbelievable just writing it. I was expecting someone to jump out like it was a hidden camera show. I had to walk out, although i really should have said something to a manager. Ive been to dirty and rundown and fly infested all over NY but that was the worst. Ive never given a place a 1 star review but i have to just so people avoid the salads. I really used to like coming here.

What a disappointment! Overpriced is one thing, but ONE piece of french toast for an order?! How can you justify that? Ridiculous!

We order from here at least 3 times a week. Their selection is great, delivery is prompt and the girls that answer the phones are always super friendly. Check their daily specials for great hot food also.

This is my favorite deli on LI. I always get the roast beef and mozzarella on a garlic hero. It is just perfect. The other stuff looks good too. I have had the pizza and it is OK, but I highly recommend this sandwich, I get it whenever I go and have never been disappointed.
The only hassle is you have to pay for parking. Thanks Roslyn!

Don’t wast your time. Food was average at best.
Service was worse. They were more interested in hanging and chatting with each other than talking about the menu.
The hostess didn’t know the name of the place. She called it Nooks and doodles?
Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.

Now the one star pertains to the deli ONLY not the pizza which is top notch and evidently under different management. Tried twice in the same day for breakfast and lunch with a group of business folks working near by. I may actually congratulate them if they got an order correct! Multiple mistakes on order, egg sandwich with bacon and cheese, bacon no cheese, another ham egg and cheese, forgot ketchup, lunch same story multiple mistakes, I mean how hard is it… to make a f’ing sandwich right.

You never wait too long here even when its crowded. Something delicious for everyone! Have to shout out to the Healthy Choice Egg wrap… its my fam’s fave!

I usually order from here Because of the wide variety of food and what I’ve usually gotten has tasted good and it’s close to my job. The service however is horrible. I had ordered a panini and asked for pears and arugula on the panini along with other things. There were no pears or arugula and when I called to tell them she said that they don’t have arugula and I never said pears, yet she repeated my order to me and said both those things. Then we also asked for one medium drink and one large but sent us both mediums, so on the bill it charged us for the large still… whatever it’s a .50 cent dif. But when I told the lady on the phone she goes…“we can send over a large and pick up the other one”…really…we already started drinking our drinks and it’s a mistake you guys made you would think that they would be like oh ok we will send you a large. not we will pick up the one medium that was wrong… who does that. Very disappointed.

I’m just so done with this place. The food has always been good, if inconsistent, but it is not worth anything near the headache anymore. I am a very non-​confrontational person, so when the constant mistakes occurred (wrong Items, missing items, etc.) I just grinned and said it was a bad day from them. But now its gotten to be constant. I am always missing at least one thing from my order, or they add melted cheese or mayo despite the notes clearly stating NO CHEESE/​NO MAYO. Now, in the last week, they have complete forgotten my order on 2 separate occasions. Last Thursday, after waiting for an hour and a half after the delivery time I called and was told they didn’t have my order. This morning, I waited a little more then an hour after the delivery time and was told it already left and should be there soon. A half an hour later (so now 2 hours since i ordered and 1 hr 30 min after the delivery time) I called again and was told that they once again didn’t get my order. Both times I was sent confirmation notices about my orders. I just cant take it anymore. There are plenty of other places in the area that don’t screw up every order. And by just going from the comments here, its seems I’m not the only one who they have messed up orders for. Avoid, unless you really don’t care about accuracy, or even if you get your food at all.

Honestly don’t even want to give it one star. They are so rude over then phone and they mess up your order every time. I work in the area and my company uses them for catering and that’s not terrible but for ordering lunch and breakfast for yourself is terrible the delivery drivers are even worse! (nasty) theirs one very nice guy who they usually send with the correct order after they mess them up.
This morning I ordered breakfast (I don’t normally do) and it took over 2 hours first it took an hour to get my order and it was egg whites and they messed them up and they were cold then they said they would fix them witch was nice and that took another hour and the order was still wrong at that point I just gave up. they are also extremely over priced.
I am going to be looking for a new Deli for myself and my company to use.

This place is off the charts good and clean and has a nice helpful staff, they’re over staffed for excellent customer service, this is everything you can expect from a gourmet LI deli !

Changing menu everyday, so as an everyday diner here, it helped keep me on my toes. My visits to the city were 2 weeks at a time, and restraints on time and efforts meant we, as a team, stuck to this one place everyday.
Their salads were fantastic, and freshly chopped up in front of you. You choose the toppings, the dressing, the leaf, etc. and walked away with a huge salad lunch.
Another favourite is the burger (I think it was called the King Kong?). Huge, with slabs of ham and cheese in it. So delicious. Had to save some for later, though.
The pizza section was a nice addition as well. I ordered the chicken ranch pizza for days on end, and didn’t get tired of it.
The service was always friendly, lots of «darling“s and «honey“s thrown in, but always efficient.

What a rip off. 3 slices of turkey and 2 slices of swiss on a stale hero roll for almost $ 10? I just went to Uncle Giuseppes and bought a whole pound of boars head oven gold turkey for $ 5.99 on sale. Tried the pizza last week too. Very expensive for nothing to write home about. Well-​to-​do clienteles who dont cook accept these prices because they have no choice. Delicacies can continue to cater to th

Extremely disappointed right now, I order from this deli at least 3 times a week. Today I ordered and over an hour and didn’t get my food, I called and they said it was on the way, another half hour still no food, called again and it finally came. My food was ice cold ! I called them and told them and the woman was rude to me and didn’t even apologize… they’re now sending new food 2 hours after I originally ordered. I am beyond furious !!!

I ordered breakfast from here a couple times and it was pretty good. The service was also extremely good. They call back after I ordered from seamless just to make sure that they had it right.
I ordered from them today and the food was OK but not amazing.
The delivery guy this time around was very rude, and he was getting six bucks to drive three minutes away to give me my food. NOT COOL AND NOT APPRECIATED.
They have a ton of stuff to choose from, so I could imagine that not everything is stellar.
I’d imagine that as a restaurant in a place like Roslyn that they prioritize their most frequent customers and sweep other customers under the rug. I am guessing that’s where all the one star reviews came from.

Thanks a lot for my fucking simple pizza that you took over an hour to deliver and after the wait was as cold as ice and tastes like dirt. Wont be buying from this piece of crap business ever again. Supposedly the pizza is made fresh, but it tasted like it was made and then left outside for hours. If i didnt order from seamless id demand for my money back from these ass holes. I would give them ZERO STARS if it were possible!!!

Here with kids for a wedding weekend. This place is awesome. Pizza on one side, ny deli on the other. Good salads, sandwiches and breakfast was fantastic. Kids got waffles and sausage and I took down a bacon egg and cheese that couldn’t have been better. Nice crew too.

After a year of writing my previous review I decided to order from them again in hopes they have improved. I ordered a: Rare roast beef sandwich on a scooped and toasted hero with lettuce, tiny onions salt and pepper. Not too much to ask right? What I got: Stale old well done roast beef. Not scooped, not toasted, old browning lettuce with no salt. This sandwich literally looks like shit and tastes even worse. Shame on you Delicacies, you guys SUCK.
