Bruce took a series of family photos for me (myself, my husband, and my then-​4 month old). He is very unobtrusive and lets the good shots come naturally. He’s also passionate about photography and it shows. The end result was a great collection of high quality photos — more traditional shots as well as funny, sweet candid shots, which ended up being my favorites from the day. I highly recommend Bruce — you’ll get a fun, low key, no-​stress experience, and the photos won’t come out looking like every other staged shoot you see these days.

Bruce did the engagement/​save the date photos for my summer wedding. It was a rainy, dreary, cold day instead of the sunny, cheery weather I had wanted. Despite conditions that would put a damper on most people’s moods and creativity, Bruce was such a great sport — he came up with imaginative photographs that captured the quirky, fun-​loving theme we discussed. He has a knack for finding just the right angle, background, pose or spontaneous shot. Bruce made my fiancé and I comfortable in front of the camera (a big challenge) and had us laughing and smiling the whole time. The end result was a collection of hilarious, touching, and beautiful photographs that capture our personalities to a T. I could not recommend Bruce Spero Photography more highly.
