Excellent wines! But the service is questionable. I’ve been here every month for he past year and I’ve noticed that the talk stall at the register always seems to card only the black people and other minorities :/Confronted him about it when he deliberately let a guy in front of me about my same age go without asking for ID and immediately after he carded me yet again! Why? he says the guy’s a regular and he’s never seen me before #majorbullshit trying to find another store that carries my d’asti

Seriously?!? This place is TERRIBLE. This is down there with Macy’s for seedy, no depth, no interesting product. Hole in the wall, dirty, half the price tags are mismatched and incorrect. The wine selection is a wholesale joke. Beer and liquor not much better. This is the place for the local wildlife to come and drink away their sorrows in cheap swill.

Decent liquor store. I’m not necessarily compelled to give Atlas four stars right off the go, however, the atmosphere(yes, there is an ATMOSPHERE at this liquor store!) warrants a bump to four. The aisles are wide and uncluttered. The floors, surprisingly clean. The lighting, sufficient. The selection, slightly above average. The staff, efficient and friendly. Overall, this place is really an average liquor store with average prices and just a tad extra in selection. What gets me, is that people literally hang out here. And I think that is cool! There’s a second register near the exit, and there’s always at least one old dude hanging out chatting it up with whoever is on the register. Now, whether this person is a paid employee, I don’t know. But I love the community«barber shop» feel. I feel better about buying alcohol here, because I feel like I’m supporting the success of an entire community. It’s nice to feel that! If I needed a truly unique brew or a rare mixer, I’d probably have to hit Blanchards in JP or Gary ‘s in West Rox. But it’s nice to have Atlas in my backyard for the staples. I know they’ll have the basics I need when I need them!

Much like their other locations, this Atlas is huge, cheap and fantastic! I’ve never gone thirsty after a trip to Atlas, and they do a very good job staffing the joint. On a recent, ill advised visit on December 23, I worried the place would be overrun with people stocking up for the big day. I actually ended up at Atlas because I gave up on the shit show that was Blanchard’s in JP. But I’m glad I couldn’t get into Blanchies, Atlas is better! The parking lot at Atlas was pretty full, but it was easy enough to get in and out. While in the store, I flip flopped about which boozes to buy for people, and went from aisle to aisle a bunch of times. Observant and helpful employees twice approached me and asked if I needed any help. I appreciated their friendly offers, though I didn’t actually need help. Just decisiveness. They had great attitudes, as did the guy at the checkout. They seemed excited about how busy the place was, and cheerfully told me it was only going to get busier as the day went on. This packy has it right! There’s a parking lot, you don’t wait a long time in line, and they’re well staffed with good people. Nice!

Yep! This is your spot on the Boston side of the river. WHEREVER you are located, Atlas is worth the drive. BEST prices in town on EVERYTHINGALL the time. Ginormous selection. Guess what? They’re open on Sundays!

Great selection, they always have something I have never seen before and because of their size everything is very competitively priced. I found an Irish vodka, Ireland has potatoes, vodka is made from potatoes, it seemed to make sense to me. Theres always a lot of stuff on sale so even if you dont know what you want when you come in you leave with enough for a week-long bender.
