After first time, I felt extreme pressure to sign up for monthly massage program. I got a gift card from relative. I left very stressed out after high-pressure pitch to join monthly. They obviously work on commission, the woman didn’t like that I wouldn’t sign up. I think she was manager and 2 others stood there listening to whole thing. Way to turn someone off. Why not just offer those prices all the time without having to join, people would come back. I would have but that pressure situation turned me way off. They could have taken me to a side room to talk instead of everyone. Now wait for the manager to come on and invite me back, I won’t ever go back. By the way, massage person brought about her kid and I felt like she was really fishing for big tip. Please don’t bring up your personal life with a client on first visit.

There is really no such thing as a bad massage but i wouldn’t say that Heather gave a great one. i will try again with another masseuse.

If you like a deep massage, Chee, Barbara and Amanda have a great idea how to dig in! The reception staff here is super friendly and helpful. Though it’s an important service they offer — everyone should learn to RELAXMORE! — and they do it well, it’s more costly than finding an independent therapist and there aren’t enough necessary benefits to justify(for me) the added expense. There’s a «relaxation room», but I think it’s really the«Sales» room because I was only directed there on my first visit. I did try a facial(super chatty therapist, don’t expect to sit back and chill), a sugar foot scrub, and aromatherapy treatments throughout my membership and they were nice, but were advertised as «additional services» when they in fact cut into your actual pre-paid massage time. The rooms were small and dark off of a somewhat creepy hallway, though the music was nice and the therapists were very accommodating so comfort was not an issue. I find myself very sad to be parting ways with Amanda now that I’ve found her!

I’m going to be honest, I avoided this place because it was a chain and I was afraid of a sales pitch since I know they do a monthly membership thing. However, a co-worker of mine who I like works at a different location and another co-worker went for a massage and was pretty pleased with the result, particularly since it was so cheap for the first time. I had to book a few weeks out at this location, but I got the time I wanted and I was excited to be able to spend an hour relaxing. Now, I will say, I really enjoy my massages at Aveda salons because of the essential oils, but they are pretty pricey so it’s a rare treat to get to go to a Juut; however, honestly, I was just as happy in the end with my massage at Massage Envy. This entire facility was clean and very professional. The front desk staff was helpful and the consultant I met with prior to meeting my massage therapist took good notes because George, my MT, did an excellent job at adhering to my requests and also not being chatty during the massage besides asking about pressure. If you go to this location, I highly recommend seeing George. Or maybe you shouldn’t so that I can see him the next time I want to go back. The 50 minutes flew by and he definitely got some of the knots out of my shoulders and neck. They did pitch me the membership when I was checking out but they weren’t pushy. The $ 49.99 first time price was really nice but even at their regular non-member price of $ 80, I would certainly be back since that is about $ 20 – 30 less than the massages I have gotten other places. Also, a big thanks for finding and returning the necklace that I left in the massage room prior to my exiting the store.

I have never had a professional massage before going to Massage Envy. The therapist I got was professional, and understanding that I wasn’t really interested in talking during the massage. I was so relaxed and it felt longer than an hour. They put you at ease and are concerned with your massage experience. Because of that massage, I became a member, which they were not pushy about at all, which was refreshing. If you’re looking for a good place to get a massage, please look here. This place is amazing.

I didn’t have the pleasant experience that the others did on this page. I must admit that I steered clear of this place because it was a chain. I found myself in a jam in need of a massage due to pain, and realized that this would be a good opportunity to try it out as they advertise to have«day of» openings. I called to make my appointment for that day and was rudely corrected by the receptionist because I asked things in the wrong order. Upon arriving to Massage Envy I was greeted and placed into a quiet room to fill out paperwork and wait for what I thought would be my Massage Therapist… instead I was falsely greeted by a bubbly sales person… I had no clue so I was spilling all of my concerns to this person assuming it was the Massage Therapist… she then noticed that I was under this impression and stated that she was NOT the Massage Therapist but she would pass the message along to the MT. A few minutes later I was greeted by a tired, overworked Massage Therapist. She didn’t ask many questions or explain much. The massage lasted a mere 42 minutes(I’m assuming she was behind, and tried to make up time with my massage) and not the 60 minute I had thought I was paying for. Later I also found out that their«60 minute» massages are supposed to be 50 minutes for clean up, etc… which I was still robbed of. Lastly, when leaving I was given a 7 minute sales pitch… not my cup of tea. If the massage is great it will sell itself in my book! In the end… I probably spent 20 minutes listening to sales pitches, and 42 minutes getting an actual massage for their whopping $ 49 first timer special. This means that I paid more than $ 1/minute that a typical massage costs at any high end spa. Also, it stated«One hour special» on their website… again, it is NOT one hour. This is deceiving. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

If you’re like me you think that Massage Envy sound too commercialized and maybe like it wouldn’t be a great place for a massage. Well… You’d be proven wrong. My first couple there were two different therapists and did a good job, but not amazing. My 3rd, yes I gave it another chance, was with Josh. He great me with a soft handshake, this worried me, but he was amazing! I have been going a lot due to serious headaches from muscle tension. He addressed all concerns and did such a wonderful job. The great thing about this place is that they’re open 8am — 10pm. So it’s very catering. I didn’t give it 5 since I think the music is far from relaxing in my opinion, but at least it’s easy to drown out.

Last week at a trade show, I had to carry the booth from the hotel to the convention center and then back again. God hadn’t intended for me to be a pack mule. So I went to see my usual MT, Bob, at the Massage Envy/Edina location, who worked on me for 1.5 hours and couldn’t get all the kinks out. Flash forward to today, when I was able to sneak in an hour session with Wade at the Massage Envy/Roseville location. Man, did he beat me up!(I believe that’s the clinical term for«beat me up».) Wade can do some serious deep tissue massage if you’re up to the challenge. I don’t think he was able to work everything out, but he could tell my back, shoulders and chest were a hot mess. He did his best in the time allotted, and I feel a lot better. So when it came time to check out, Kayla was there with her super friendly attitude and cheery disposition. There are two signs outside of Massage Envy right now(check for availability) with a promo for«Buy Three Get One Free» gift cards. Get yourself down to Massage Envy Roseville today to take advantage of this offer! You’re probably much nicer than I am and will share these gift cards with the ones you love. Me, well, I’m too selfish. With the great service Massage Envy provides, I’m keeping these for myself to spoil myself!

Amazing Amazing Amazing. My MT was Wade, I had the relaxation massage and I’m telling you my friend and I were in a daze leaving this place. I Love how they take their time and that they customize the massage for you depending on your needs. Definitely a place to visit again when I get back in town ;D
