This was my first visit, my friend and I used a coupon to get a 8 inch half off when you buy a 12 inch(coupon came in mail). We both got the Italian sandwiches. We were pleased with the place, seems like a nice clean place to eat in, and the sandwiches were quite good. I don’t like thick bread and the bread they use is thinner and much easier to eat then other sub shops. We were there before closing and I think they may have been starting to clean the ovens or something because this bad cleaning smell came pouring out into the restaurant, and you could even see the fog it made, smelled like oven cleaner. Other than that the experience was pretty good.

My husband just went there today to pick us up lunch. He got me a chicken bacon sandwich. The sandwich was soggy and drenched in sause. Also the meat tasted old and gross. I will never go back there. I am very disappointed that we wasted our money and now have to spend more money for lunch elsewhere. NEVERAGAIN.

My boyfriend and I tried firehouse subs yesterday afternoon, and from the second we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The man working the register was so friendly and inviting and was patient when we had said we had never been there before and had some questions. I made my own sub and my boyfriend got the meatball — he cannot stop raving about it. Mine was good as well with crisp bacon exactly how I like it. I also love the soda machine where you can add flavors and such to your drinks. Prices were affordable as well. My only reason for 4 stars is because I actually prefer cold sandwiches, and am under the impression you can’t do that here(although I may have heard wrong). Overall wonderful experience and we’ll be back, thanks!

Firehouse is my go to sandwich spot! The way the cheese melts and the meat is thinly sliced! YUMMMM! My favorite is the turkey bacon ranch, but I switch the turkey for chicken! OMG! And their roast beef is to die for. I also love how they support first responders and local fireman. Great way to give back to your community.

Firehouse is the tastiest, freshest, best sub place in all of America. This place is my go to lunch spot while I am dieting and counting macros. I literally eat here several times per week even while preparing for bodybuilding competitions. I trust them to make the sandwiches accurately and precisely each and every time. I have eaten here for lunch or dinner probably about 40 times since they opened. I really can’t recommend it enough. My go to sandwich is the Medium Hero Sub with no tomatoes, onions or mayo. I add pickles, cucumbers and banana peppers. I love the coke freestyle fountain drink machine. I usually get Mello Yello zero. It pairs well with my sandwich. When they have the Semper Fi hot sauce, I use that as well! Check out my instagram for pics of my sandwiches. I post them often. @Chris_Elkins

Blah. Hubby brought home a ham and turkey sandwich and an Italian sandwich. Here’s why they get 1 star. 1. Didn’t ask hubby what he wanted on the sandwiches 2. One pickle for 2 orders. And it wasn’t even a crisp one! 3. Crappy day old tasting wheat roll 4. Not enough flavor in the sandwich — where’s the pickeled items, salt and pepper, lacked onions but boy did it have a lot of soggy shredded Iceberg lettuce on that hot sandwich. . 5. Poor quality of meat! I mean salami has a flavor.. and ham should not taste like thinly sliced rubber. I’d rather have subway or even SAFEWAYSANDWICHES!

First time here and not impressed. Never had such a boring sandwich in all my life. I ordered the NY steamer which looked good but was extremely boring. Wont order that again!

I’m thrilled with this place! Not just because it’s so close by, but it’s such a refreshing change from the usual sub shops; and even more importantly because of the quality of the ingredients — this is just fabulous and the variety of the menu ranges from traditional to unique. Not much is available in the way of cold subs, this is primarily a hot menu. I’ve tried about 4 or 5 different subs so far with favorable results. Even the«least» results are better than average, but the best are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The meatball is pretty high among my favorites; but number one is a limited time menu item: Pulled Pork on King’s Hawaiian Sweet Roll with melted Pepper Jack cheese and topped with Cole Slaw. Someone was in a good mood the day they came up with THAT! I also enjoyed the New York Steamer(though why one would put mayo on a corned beef and pastrami I don’t know… that doesn’t seem traditional to me. But to each their own. :) And they gladly will hold the mayo and increase their course ground deli mustard upon request. The corned beef and pastrami were a little on the mild side — I’d have liked stronger cured meats, but they were still tender and juicy. My daughter loves the Brisket with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce… and I can vouch for it, it’s fabulous too. Seems like I’ve tried another one too, but I can’t remember now because my mind keeps coming back to my favorite Pulled Pork/Cole Slaw, and now I want to go get one. Too bad they’re closed. Ha! BTW, their breads are so much better than what we’ve been getting from the other big chain sandwich shop in our neighborhood… these actually hold up all the way through without immediately turning into a dried up, crumbling husk or soggy mess(for saucy sandwiches). Very nice, soft and fresh, yet has some body to it. Highly recommended.

This is a great sub place. First off they have excellent customer service. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by all the employees on the line. The place inside is beautiful. They have murals dedicated to firefighters. The whole theme is spot on! The sandwiches are delicious by anyone’s standards. I’ve personally haven’t had that many because when I find something I love, it’s hard to pick anything else. But we’ve ordered from work and everyone seems to love it. My usual is the meatball sub. But I did switch it up and got the sweet and spicy version! Omg! So good. It wasn’t too spicy. It was perfect. You can always add some hot spice since they have like every hot sauce ever made???(Numbered by spice level) Most meals are around ten bucks but the sandwiches are huge and well worth it. I usually can’t finish all of it. Best of all they have those fancy soda machines were you can mix flavors! Mellow yellow mixed with cherry… Trust ;) They just recently added a rewards app! Got a free drink and dessert today. Yass that brownie was heaven. If you haven’t gone please go in and check it out. Upscale subs /down2earth feel

LOVE how they greet you as you walk in the door, makes you feel so welcome :) Customer service is on point the girl helping my family was very nice & was very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was really good. My boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. He’s LOVED it. Too bad it’s only on the menu a short period of time! I got the Meatball Sub and it was really GOOD. I couldn’t finish it so I took half home. :) This place is a great place to come, eat, and home out. Love how kid friendly it is. My son loved his firetruck hat! We will definitely be back!

Love this sandwich spot! Awesome decorations and«firehouse theme» Plus they include a framed picture of our local Roseville firehouse– really cool. Everything is nice and clean and when walking in got greeted by ALL the crew at the same time. You can tell they are really trying to «market» this place because they went out and handed out coupons to local businesses. Kudos for putting your name out there ESPECIALLY when you are a LUNCHSPOT so businesses are the first place to promote yourself. They really got 5 stars for their customer service. Today my boyfriend and I went in for lunch. He was starving– I wasn’t. We used a coupon for him(buy a sub get chips a drinks free) I had another coupon for $ 2 off a sub. I asked if I could use it towards the kids meal(wasn’t expecting they go for it but they approved!) So $ 3.99– with a $ 2.00 off coupon= $ 1.99 for a half a turkey sandwich– small drink — and a rice krispy treat! Perfect amount for me. And since they were so flexible with todays purchase, I will be back when I’m starving for a FULL sandwich. Way to market and keep customers– especially keeping ME happy. BTW everything tasted AMAZING! And such a cool soda machine!

Excellent customer service!!! My first time here and Jeff explained it all to me. Young lady behind the counter did an excellent job making my 8″ Italian sub! I’ll be back soon

Visited Firehouse around 11am on Monday. Pretty empty around that time. Tough location being right next to Chando’s and The Habit. I had the Brisket and Cheddar sandwich combo. Very good but slightly expensive for my taste(Glad I had a $ 2 off coupon). The bread was very soft and warm, brisket was savory, and Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce was the icing on the cake. Chip selection was limited but soda options are endless! Friendly staff and clean environment was a plus.

I’ve seen the commercials, and had to give Firehouse Subs a try. Who wouldn’t like a hot turkey sandwich with ranch & mayo? Most of their sandwiches are served hot. I, personally, like hot sandwiches. Melted cheese and all that… MMMMMM!!! We got here and ordered the turkey bacon ranch sub on white bread. Smoked turkey breast, bacon, sharp cheddar cheese topped with peppercorn ranch, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. We wanted something to share because dinner was only a few hours away, so we shared the meduim size sandwich. We got a meal deal which was roughly $ 10 with a drink and chips. When we got our sub they were wonderful enough to split it for us. They had put the onion and tomato on the side like we asked. I open the sandwich up to check out the goods. It was shredded turkey, melted cheddar cheese, mayo, ranch… it looked like a hot mess and not in a bad way. Although, it was falling out of the bread, I shifted it back in with the help of a fork. The only disappointing thing, was the bacon. It was super thin. It is Smithfields… soooo… is that the microwaved kind? Barely any bacon flavor. I think they put 2 pieces in there, but with bacon that is paper thin, you may want to double up or bring your own to add on.. and I’m not paying extra for paper thin bacon. Can’t wait to come back and try other sandwiches, but anything with bacon, my taste buds will be more prepared for the absence of bacon rather than the taste of.

Good quality sub. I had the Hook and Ladder. They weren’t skimpy with the meat. Fresh veggies. Reasonable prices. Much better option than Subway. I’ll be back. The soda machine seems to be a big hit w/120+ flavors.

Good marketing but the food isn’t great. It’s good though. Better than most fast food sandwich chains. I had the steak and cheese w/bacon and light veggies. I’m not sure if it’s cause we arrived after the lunch rush that our meat wasn’t hot. Maybe they just refilled it. Looks like they use the pre cooked thin bacon strips as well and not actual pan cooked bacon. 2 bread choices only. Customer service was good and they didn’t mess up my order

A solid 3 star sandwich experience. Can’t expect too much from places like this… I’ve had a couple hits here… turkey cranberry and the turkey, bacon, ranch. Today I had my first miss… the pork and coleslaw on a Hawaiian roll. Coleslaw way too wet… need to go easier on the mayo and vinegar… made my sandwich soupy and soggy and thus a mess to eat! In others news… service is usually nice and the place is always clean. If you like a billion combination of coke products then their soda machine will be a welcome sight! So…to sum this up… if you live near here and you want a good lunch I recommend trying them out! I don’t however, recommend any serious travel to check it out… definitely not worth the trip… but it’s a good spot if you’re in the area.

eeh. The name«Firehouse» Subs gives off the feel that they have some great sandwiches and an awesome secret sauce. I was expecting something similar to the Sandwhich Spot and their bomb sauce but unfortunately their menu wasn’t nearly was big and their basic Sandwhich is sub par. I guess their biggest thing is the hot sauce bar but I went ahead and took my Sandwhich to go. I got the Italian and you’re only offered a choice between white and wheat bread. My Sandwhich was semi warm due to the melted cheese but the bread was soggy. nothing is worse than a soggy sandwhich. Service was great, but as far as dining in they don’t even have beer! Highly disappointed with the food and probably won’t return. I’ll be sticking to the Sandwhich Spot!

Great sandwhiches! Ordered Pastrami & Cornbeef custom, it was delicious. Nice clean new environment, nice staff, I’d go back. The bread their using tastes very good, so does the meats they use. I’m not much of a sandwich person, but I liked these. My wife also enjoyed her sandwich.

WOW! Firehouse Subs, what a fantastic place! I first came here on the opening day(not during a rush), and it was fantastic! I ordered the Turkey Bacon and Ranch sub. The employee were very knowledgeable, and friendly. Being a fire fighter in training, I really love to see a business giving back to the community. The cashier asked me if I’d like to round up my meal to benefit local first responders. Of course I said YES! Food wise, the sandwich was really great! It did not have s generic taste, which is always good when it comes to food. I will happily be returning. It’s a personal goal to try every sandwich on the menu!
