I WISH I COULDGIVETHISPLACE A 2 ½ but you guys are lucky I rounded to 3 the reason why this deserves 2 ½ is because the server was AWFUL he didn’t come to our table at all not for coffee when we asked not for corn bread and biscuits didn’t give us a box… I am very disappointed in the server. But the food when we got it was great but they need to get rid of the server

Good services. They had 2 people helping our party of 10. And we were seated in less then 30 minutes on a Sunday morning. The pancakes were the best part.

I’ve been to this location several times and a few others. I usually order breakfast. It’s often the Momma’s Pancake breakfast with thick sliced bacon and eggs over medium or the Double Meat(bacon and sausage) breakfast with grits and buttermilk biscuits. My sister likes this restaurant and sometimes requests to come here when she is visiting from China. The food is usually good and the service is also.

All the workers are slow and too many have poor attitudes. I will never go back to this one.

Not much to say… The robot hostess sat us. It was around 6pm on a weeknight. 10 minutes later no one has even acknowledged us, despite 2 different servers helping tables around us. So we left. I complained to the robot on the way out who literally stared at me like I was speaking s foreign language. Will NOT be back to this location.

Dined here last night with son and g/f, to condense this awful experience… walked in(7:04) Seated with menus… waited…server finally acknowledged us explained that no one was sure whose table we were are we ready to order… we asked for beverages first then placed our order… waited…after one hour and six minutes(8:10)I finally got up in search of a manager to inquire where our meals were. She came to our table«they are making it right now, it will come out hot»… Waited(why we didn’t leave? I don’t know)…meals arrive(8:23) each missing a side, son and g/f meals were hot, mine, not so much… server even pointed out upon setting my plate down«those fries aren’t hot are they?»…they weren’t… nor was the rest of my meal… I’ve painted the picture, no apology for our time wasted, just«I’m sorry we did not provide the promised fun experience» oh, and the full bill. Not looking for a free meal, which upon leaving they table another manage did appear and told him full experience, how I did not eat my cold meal… he did comp mine. One more thing… upon check out one girl was«doing» the girls hair that was checking us out… the full time of checking out.

Awful experience. My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday and it was the worst thing ever. I get that they are busy on Sundays but our waiter forgot about us several times, never came over to ask how our food was and took forever with the bill. Then when we went to check out the staff just looked at us like we were crazy. Never eating there again!!!

What a joke, this place is nothing like the one in Port Huron. I have never in my life seen so many lazy people sitting in chairs in the retail shop waiting to get service. Mind you there are no chairs for waiting, these people just walk up and ask for chairs. You couldn’t walk around and shop anywhere because these«people» were so lazy. We took my parent’s who were older yet able to stand for a 30 minute wait but these lazy useless pieces of waste couldn’t. So we finally get in and place our orders, the«waitress» comes back 20 minutes later to say«oh sorry we don’t have any meatloaf right now, but it will be ready in 40 minutes» could she really be this clueless? We waited 30 minutes before being seated, then place our order and wait another 20 minutes for her to come back and tell us another 40 minutes… IDIOT! Yeah we have nothing to do but wait on your crummy service, ask the lazy bums sitting in the retail shop i guarantee you they have nothing to do. So we have to change my parents and my wife’s order because they wanted meatloaf. Never refilled anyone’s drink we had to ask her everytime, that’s just pathetic. She would come out to bring the food and then you wouldn’t see her for a while. I bet she was back there eating our meatloaf, she looked hungry. I get my breakfast that was suppose to be two eggs, i received one and a half. Okay so the cook was obviously an idiot for letting that leave the kitchen, so what does that make the«waitress» for bringing that mess to the table? Not to mention these eggs sat around till they cooked the other orders. Never brought out the biscuits and corn bread that she said she would. The clientele and the workers stink! I know i called a lot of people idiots but in reality i was the biggest idiot for not speaking to the manager and for leaving her a tip. Stay far far away unless you like waiting and horrible service. They are wretched.

Oh my goodness! Horrible service, dry meat, tasteless sides and nowhere near friendly. Hadn’t been to a cracker barrel in at least a decade and this location proves why. And to think I chose this over what I wanted. How does one mess up breakfast? I may not know how, but I know who. I think I would’ve liked it more if I didn’t have to tell my server bout the thing hanging from her nose. Yuck!

The food here is great it’s kind of hit or miss with your waitress so if you’re looking for down south home cooking like your mama makes this is the place. I recommend to go the cheesy hash brown casserole is a must and so are the fried apples and if your grits fan then they nailed it. I also recommend the iced tea as well as their coffee is amazing and not to mention shopping along with great food the gift shop is a bit pricey but they have a little bit of everything for everyone.

Awful service. I have not been here one single time where I I didn’t have to wait at least 10 minutes to even see our server and get waters. This has been consistent over 3 visits. The food is less than average. The staff is actually quite friendly but horrible at their job. Don’t go here.

Horrible! Ordered the combo sampler. Did not wish to have ham so I asked if I could have extra chicken n dumplings. Waitress said sure. Well, My plate showed up with a normal size meatloaf slice but only two small pieces of chicken and two dumplings(small too). What a joke, I told the waitress and she said combos do not get large portions. I said yeah but I sacrificed a slice of ham… surely I should have more than one bite full of chicken n dumplings. She went and got me a small cup with more… guess what? All it had in it was dumplings… no chicken!!! This place sucks! Also important to note. I asked the waitress for extra butter and extra napkins, neither arrived with my meal. My corn and mashed potatoes were cold! My mac and cheese was old and crusted over, real sick looking… tasted horrible… one bite and I gave up. I will never go here again. While nobody was rude, the food was awful and my server was extremely forgetful. I still tipped her $ 2 on a $ 9.35 meal but only because I was in a good mood from other aspects in my life. Normally I would not do that. I have eaten at 5 other Cracker Barrels in other states, like Kentucky, Florida, etc, never had a problem. So… it must be this location… bad management I would guess. Will never return… it was really that bad!!!

My wife and I ate here today for lunch. I had the perch, fried okra, and cole slaw. It was delicious. My wife had catfish, mashed potatoes and fried okra. These orders come with complimentary corn bread or biscuits. My wife had the biscuits and I ate corn bread. This was the real corn bread, crumbly and not sweetened to resemble cake, like most restaurants serve. Both meals rated a ten out of ten. The place is crowded and noisy, but so what? It’s a family restaurant, not a gourmand restaurant. Service was exceptional and parking was plentiful. There was a 20 minute wait, which gave me time to shop through the old style candy bars and drop $ 20.00 on them. All and all a good time. I have eaten here several times and always been pleased with the food and service.

This is one of our favorite places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We come here often. You never leave Cracker Barrel hungry. This restaurant in Roseville is always clean and the service has never been anything but friendly.

My server Juan was fantastic! The young lady in the country store was friendly and walked me around to promote for me the peg game to take home! Plus some proceeds went to Veterans organizations! How nice! I enjoyed it like any other CBOCS, but I had the haddock. That was so good! Along with their buttermilk biscuits and country vegetables, it was great!

They are out of Apple Dumplin until January 2015. The only dessert available is coca cola cake. I was extremely disappointed when I found out. The dessert is the best part of my dining experience.:(

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I tried to order a meal to go and after being transferred 4 times I finally got to the right person to end up being hung up on. So I called back giving the benefit of the doubt & long and behold same scenario. I will never eat at this location again. Get your customer service skills together people. It does make a difference.

If you are a large party and you have Patty you might want to ask for someone else. She does not enjoy large parties. Except for Patty, who actually interrupted a family conversation with a «So Anyway» in an attempt to get us all to shut up so she could take our order it was a decent Cracker Barrel experience. My parents LOVE Cracker Barrel, so they weren’t as cross as I was by the waitresses attempts to interrupt us and generally be combative with our requests. A little bit of humor, that doesn’t really affect my review. I had a hamburger that was made with two«bottom buns» while my brother in law had the two«Top Buns» on his burger. Overall a Meh experience, but if Cracker Barrel does better next time, I’ll be sure to update my review

Initally, the ambiance was fun. The little shop and décor were both great. The food, however, was not meant for human consumption. I had great service, but because of the food, I’ll never go back.

Ate here for second time on Saturday for lunch. Quite packed, took us 15 mins to get a table. Ordered the new deep fried chicken option from the menu and it was alright. Only complaint is the portion sizing seemed a bit small compared to the photo shown in the specials and to the portion sizes I am used to receiving from Cracker Barrel.

Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant, usually located near an interstate highway exit. They have a nice ‘front porch’ area with welcoming rocking chairs. Reserved handicap parking for those who need it, and for RVers, they usually have ample parking off to the side or out back. First off, I have never had a bad meal at Cracker Barrel. Their food is consistently good, and their offerings are consistently Southern. Of course, they also eat macaroni and cheese in the south, so there is honestly something for everyone. A section of the menu lists kids fare, so bring the kids along! This Cracker Barrel is usually busy. Sunday afternoon was no different, and the wait time for my party of 4 was about 10 minutes. If there is a wait, they will put you on the list and call out your name when a table becomes available. During that time, you are free to sit out on the rocking chairs, or perhaps browse in their store for an interesting item or two. Our server was pleasant and attentive, patiently allowing ample time to take our orders. Ayanna B. did an excellent job in taking care of our needs. We ordered 3 meals off of the $ 7.69 part of the menu. I can attest to the great taste of the Cajun Catfish meal, but the other meals were equally good. For a good meal that won’t break the bank, give Cracker Barrel a try.

Although my experience on 12−18−13 was not so good, I contacted Cracker Barrel Corporate & shared my experience. They provided a letter of apology & a generous gift certificate, hoping I will return

What can I say other than I’m a fan. You’ve been there before so I don’t need to review the menu. We pretty much just go there for breakfast and of course, the place is always packed. Avoid Sunday mornings at all costs. Portions are large so bring an appetite or someone to share it with. When you go to the Roseville location, ask to sit in either Robin or Natasha’s section. They are sweethearts and hustle to make their money. They also have the menu memorized and are quick to make suggestions that will benefit you either food or price wise. I love that! My only complaint is that everything comes on its own plate and you end up with a crazy amount of plates. The table top gets buried. My compliment is the real fire in the hearth when the weather turns cold. The smell of hickory is intoxicating.

Went again last Saturday and it was a total disaster. Was told when my dinner was brought out that apples would be 20 more minutes so I could select a different side. Uhh? Maybe make them when I ORDERTHEM. Both dishes were served unappealing and then — get this — it took over 10MINUTES for a manager to come speak with me. I am done. Done done done with this location. They suck!

Back in the day, when Cracker Barrel stores where only in the south, going there was just something you did on vacation and you looked forward to it. Now I’m sad to say that it’s just not the same. The times I’ve been to the Roseville Cracker Barrel in the last couple years have been disappointing to say the least. Horrible service, food quality and quantity was substandard. This was EVERY time I’ve been there in the last few years. I went there with my son this past Monday(gift card from mom) let me run down the list of problems with this visit: Waitress was slow, no forks, no refills(or it took over a half hour to get them), had to send the steak back because it was well, well done(burnt), waitress forgot my greens and my sons baked potato and biscuits, chicken and dumplings were cold. The other tables were also sending back their plates as well. I really felt bad for the floor manager. Seems he had many unsatisfied customers and he was bouncing from table to table to make things right. I really want to like this place again. Probably because of sentimental reasons. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1.
