The Roadhouse Salad with tri tip is the best salad I have ever had. Period. Granted, it is 1300 calories so it can’t exactly be considered«health food.» however if you’re looking for an extremely tasty meal it is definitely worth the splurge while shopping at the galleria.

I was pleasently surprised with the quality and taste of the food at Buckhorn. I found myself at the Food Court looking for a decent meal. I didn’t have high expectations when I decided to on a Buckhorn Tri-Tip sandwich. My sandwich & sweet potato fries where were a wonderful surprise. If your at the Galleria Mall and looking for a good Tri-Tip sandwich I recommend you give Buckhorn a try. The Tri-Tip was excellent and decently priced. This is the only Mall food I’ll endorse.

The good: Their tri-tip is to die for. They have great salads with fresh ingredients and they offer a few different kinds of BBQ sauces which I enjoy trying. The not so good: As a BBQ joint that seems to specialize in tri-tip, they only offer one tri-tip salad and its served on flat bread for over $ 10. Sure, you can order it without the flatbread(I avoid gluten which is why I’m eating overpriced BBQ at the mall in the first place) but the salad becomes rather plain and further overpriced in that case. Bottom line, it’s still my favorite food court option. Not greasy. The meat is smokey and prepared to order. But I would love if they offered better options for those of us who are avoiding starchy or high carb options(which is their major draw in a mall food court in my opinion).

I was very disappointed with this place… They claim to have the Best Tri Tip sandwiches, couldn’t disagree more. I came in to get a quick lunch I ordered a bacon Tri tip sandwich the girl at the cashier was very annoyed and clearly not having a good day, which is understandable(we’re all human) and checked me out very quickly almost without saying a word. They didn’t look busy, but it took them 12 minutes to make a very simple sandwhich, when I finally got my food the meat was soo dry and the bread was soggy that it was almost impossible to eat. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing. But if you claim to have the best, at least make it taste good. I’ve never had the desire to ever come back after that.

I had the Yik Yak with chicken this time, and it was delicious. It’s a salad served on a tortilla. Lot’s of crunchy goodness. The chicken was moist, chopped and spread all over. The dressing is slightly sweet, thick and very good. I thought it was a great salad and would have it again.

I love this place. The Roadhouse salad is so good, I almost hate to go to the mall if I can’t get it! It never disappoints! Everything is so flavorful & served just right. Such a nice blending of fresh ingredients.

The food is fine. Tri Tip is scrumptious, but they need to invest in better utensils because their flimsy plastic black forks and knifes don’t cut it. I’ve broken them from cutting my tri tip

I have loved Buckhorn since day one. They use to cater our work events and how I discovered them. Their Tri tip is the BEST and I am a big red meat eater. It has a nice smokey flavor but not overpowering. JUICY and tender. The chicken is just so so to me though and the red potatoes have some flavor that does not agree with me. Not bad per se, just certain foods/flavors make me gag and it has something in it that does that to me. They are a little pricey for a lunch which will easily run you $ 15. My puny sandwich was $ 7.99 with no fix’ns. The way to go is to order the big tri tip $ 26.99 to take home and do the sides yourself. Last year I hosted a 80 guest party and ordered all the meat from them. It cost me $ 500 but we got a TON of food. It was so much that it fed my 80 plus the leftovers fed 40 at work. They pack it up really nice with tongs and everything that all I had to do was take the lid off and serve. It was wonderful. Again the tri tip was the best. The BBQ chicken was good but the other lemon chicken or something like that was just eh. In essence, get the tri-tip!!!

The food is always a delicious café style barbeque. The flavors are always great. I got the monthly email Tri Tip salad flat bread. I would get it again, it was a large portion. However, the mac and cheese is now a smaller portion in a cup even for a dine-in order. I will not be buying it again due to the $ 3.99 price and small size. They don’t publicize it, but they have pretty good rewards. You fill out an application and give them your phone number after that.

Their tri tip is so juicy and always tasteful. They are in the food core of the galleria. Ordered the bacon cheddar buck with a side if Mac n cheese and it came out to $ 12.88 after tax. Unfortunately the sandwiches are sold separately. It wasn’t a long wait and the staff was friendly, but I ordered medium well and got more medium rare because it was more pink. The pieces of the tri tip needed to be cut more into smaller pieces before being placed in a sandwich. Every time I bit into the meat almost the whole price came out. The size of the macaroni was disappointing and small, especially for $ 3.99. It was cheesy and milky Mac n cheese, but not worth the cost for the amount. I love the trip tip, so I’ll probably be back to try another item, but probably not include a side.

Stopped in the food court and gave this place a try. I got a Krispy Chicken & Avocado Salad. It was absolutely delicious. It was a little pricey, but the lettuce and avocados were so fresh. Chicken had the perfect crunch & the dressing was light/tangy. Definitely loved it! Hubby got a burger of some sort but was disappointed at the portion size to price ratio. It was about $ 9& it didn’t come with sides unless you ordered that extra. It didn’t fill him up, so I shared my yummy salad. They refill your drink for free through, which was nice.

So, we found ourselves in the mall and hungry. What to do? In the food court the choices are so-so except for the Buckhorn Grill. There food looks amazing and there is ususally a line. I love that they give you one of those pagers so that I can track down my husband and what ever he is eating and find a place to sit while my food is prepared. I ordered Cabo Chop Chopped romaine with honey-lime dressing, in a crispy tortilla with avocado, black beans, corn, jicama, radishes, tomatoes and blue cheese crumbles. This salad was really good and they took their time in the plating so that it now only tasted good but it looked good. It was a bit pricey compare with«Plutos»(which is outside of the mall proper but another decent food choice.) at $ 9 and you can add protein such as salmon or tri-tip for a bit more. This is my go to place in the mall.

I usually don’t eat in food courts but the Galleria has some good options. This is one of those good options. The people that work there were friendly and gave great service. I decided to order the Cabo Chop salad. It was really fresh and delicious. A worker from Buckhorn’s even came around to me and other people that had ordered from there and asked how everything was. I was impressed that someone would go around and check on quality and customer satisfaction.

I ordered a California burger, medium rare. I made it into a combo and got a free drink and a side of mash potatoes. I also ordered fries. Service was really friendly, and my gourmet burger was done in less than five minutes. Kinda pricey for the food court. I paid $ 15 dollars. Their sweet and spicy bbq sauce was very delicious but it wasn’t spicy enough. My burger was dripping down my hands. It was poorly wrapped in my wax paper that it just fell out of my hand.

Pretty tasty! I had the chance to try Buckhorn for the first time after hearing about their wonderful ways with BBQ and I must say, I’m impressed. This location is indie of the Roseville mall food court. There is no dining experience here as it is more of a sandwich style place considering the location. Lots of different options! Sandwiches, combos, soup and salads, visiting this small location makes you feel like you’re at the actual restaurant. One thing that really makes you feel like thins place is that you get the same quality food without the high prices and need to sit down and devote time to dining. You have a go at your own pace type of environment here and I appreciate that. I would recommend this place if your looking for fast service and quality food.

This place wasn’t really on my radar but I have been eating with no carbs and it seemed like a great choice, I love tri-tip! However, I didn’t realize they smoke their meat… I hate smoked flavor… that’s really just a personal preference. The one thing I can say is that you can’t cut tri-tip with a damn plastic fork and knife! That was super frustrating and think someone needs to spring for better silverware! My salad was amazing big chunks of cheese and the dressing was great no complaints about that, next time I will stick to the salads!

What can I say? Buckhorn Grill is my go-to place to eat good Angus steak and incredible meals inside the Galleria mall in Roseville! The employees and cookers have done very well, and very friendly too, so no complaints at all! For the food, I’ve ordered the famous Little Buck sandwich which it contains cooked sliced tri-tip steak with caramelized onions and dippable au jus sauce in a fresh sandwich bread. After I ate it, it tasted so good and eatable, so I can finish it in no time! I’ve also ordered the California Bacon burger which it’s outstandingly delicious too. Overall, Buckhorn Grill in the Galleria mall in Roseville is the best food mall site ever to eat! I highly recommend it!

The hunger was real, and I was feeling a burger. Service is nice and the atmosphere is very fast food casual since it’s a part of the malls eatery. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger medium rare, sadly they had run out of fries, which was disappointing because how can you eat a burger without fries? The burger seemed pretty big, decent for the price. The overall burger was delicious however the bacon was pretty salty for my taste. If I ever come back if probably try out another burger.

Seriously good food for a food court! I had the tritip platter…$ 15.99 for 8ozs of tritip with au jus, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables and corn bread. Tritip: very tasty, tender, ample portion. Mashed potatoes: very good Vegetables: definitely not the star of this show… some over done, some not done enough. Corn bread: quality for sure. Even had little bits of corn in it. My husband had a burger that he was very pleased with. Service was nice, food came out pretty promptly and served hot. Final analysis: enjoyed our dinner and the people watching… we will be back!

Pretty steep price point for mall food. Big buck = tri tip with onions and au jus. Add a side of mac and cheese. Add a medium fountain drink. Sounds like it’s going to be great — tri tip! Mac and cheese! Lemonade! Not so much. The meat was tender and I LOVED that they asked what temp /doneness I desired(medium ordered, medium delivered) but so much fat. For every bite I wanted to take I had to open the sandwich and sheer off a chunk of fat. For a sandwich, I wanted to just dip it in the au jus and dig in. Having to open the bread, cut the meat, and then package it back up did not lend itself to the ease I desired. I could have just ordered the meat with sides if I wanted to prep my meal myself. The mac and cheese — I love mac and cheese as a side with BBQ meat. This was noodles with a lump of cheese and some milk. The liquid seemed to settle towards the bottom of the cup and the mac and cheese had a gritty texture to it. I don’t know if that’s because it went from hot to warm while I cut apart my sandwich. For the price spent I would not eat here again. I was hoping for so much more and especially among a sea of «typical mall food court options» I wanted this to be great and stand above.
