I am reviewing the food. Stopped by on a Monday lunch and got the Cobb Salad. It wasn’t that good. My buddy got the Bologna Sandwich and it didn’t look that good either. Our bartender/waitress was pleasant and we were happy with her services. The restaurant was super clean and smelled clean. I just wish the food was a little better.

This place has a huge bar but it’s always completely full. It’s really hard to get a drink here. There is a nice dance floor, but the music is usually not worth dancing to.

The group I was with this weekend had a VIP package. $ 50 per person for all you can drink and a reserved section upstairs. It was pretty nice because there was no one else up there so we had it all to ourselves. We had a nice server as well who worked as fast as he could. The bar is really large with many different sections. There was a live band so we watched from upstairs and then went downstairs to dance a bit. Overall it was a decent experience.

It was really good from start to finish! This includes service and food. The burgers were very juicy, I will definitely be going back. The desert was like eating a elephant ear at the fair. The drinks were a little too smooth. We had to be careful as we were able to knock the drinks back pretty quickly.

After reading some of these reviews I was under the impression this place was going to suck, but I guess I had a different experience. Was here for a bachelor party and we all had a great time. I’m not a huge country fan, but the atmosphere was fun. I also had no problem walking up to any of the bars and getting drinks within a few minutes. Didn’t have any problems with bouncers like others have said, but I guess I wasn’t drunk enough to become a problem. I stayed till 2am and the place was still packed, but nothing too extreme. Drinks weren’t priced bad, and the servers and bartenders were all nice and polite especially with the place being busy. Cover band was good and kept playing good songs for people to dance and sing too. Overall, was a good time.

Aside country music not being my preference, this place really is lacking in quite a few areas. Saturday night, a group of 15 smoking hot Crossfit gals arrived at 7:30. We were not immediately seated. No big deal– we rallied at the bar, and ordered up a round of shots. Fast forward another fifteen minutes or so, and we were seated at a long table in the back. Score! I was ready to order some grub, eat and get the party started. The wait staff, though almost friendly, was not on point. We ordered meals and appetizers and the meals came before the apps? Really? It’s actually worse. The food comes out via runners, who, clearly. Were given no instruction outside of our table location. It was a disaster figuring out who got what as it arrived. Not the worst thing… I ordered brisket. It should be good at a honky-took bar… Along with salad and sweet potatoes. What arrived were three leather rough pieces of meat(assuming it actually was meat) smothered in a delicious barbecue sauce plated with both sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes. No salad in sight. Still not the worst part. As the runners brought out the food, they were clearly perturbed that we, the customers, were not telling them to whom the food belonged. It was evident in their eyes, which were rolling with each trip to our table, and their attitude in dropping the dishes off. We didn’t let this ruin our night– we ate out food, after it finally found its rightful owners and proceeded to drink. I ordered two shots of patron with pineapple. I received a plastic cup with two shots of patron and pineapple juice in it. So I reiterated that I wanted two shots. The bartender advised that there were two shots in the glass. I pointed to myself, and my girlfriend next to me. «Two shots» She got my drift, sort of. Pouring two shots for us, and pushing them and the cup of pineapple and two shots of patron toward me. $ 35.00 I enjoyed the shots, and the drink. So all was not lost. The music and the vibe were great. The service and the food… Yeah, not so much. Recommendation: eat beforehand, speak slowly when ordering beverages, and get drunk as quickly as possible, it’ll make dealing with the staff much less aggravating.

Yo, Toby, I love ya man but you gotta stop giving that beer to your horses and start stocking your bar with more beer for us folk who don’t like the whiskey so much. I’m sorry, but I’m just not a little whiskey girl. The beer selection, though not terrible, was not up to par with my standards but then again I think I’m a beer snob so I can’t blame anyone for that… except my fiancé who has introduced me to these ultra-trendy craft beers. A nice touch was that all of the beer was in a mason jar, but damn that mason jar was huge! Had I gotten a stronger beer than I did I probably would have been a litttttttle tipsy toppsy turvy. I did like it though because it brought the country feel alive. What I didn’t like was that these mason jars of beer were $ 12 each. I don’t know man, but that seems a little steep even for Chicago. We didn’t order any food, but judging from the other patrons’ plates the food didn’t look like it was anything special. The only thing that’s probably unique about this place is that it’s huge and great for groups of people, especially on the weekends. I haven’t been there on the weekend but it’d a truly great venue for when you’re looking to have a grand olé time. The interior was a little blah for my taste. I would have thought the bar would have more fun decorations — maybe something like Christmas lights strung up to emulate that fun, laid back feel. It just seemed like Toby was trying to be too cool for school with the barely decorate restaurant. I wanted more! So much more! I probably wouldn’t go back unless I was with a group of friends on a Friday or Saturday night, but hey it was worth the trip. I had to see what Toby was all about. Toby, like I said — much love for you, but it seems that this bar should be called Toby Queefs because of how it blew ass.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I was shopping at the outlet mall and this was within walking distance. It was with the walk! It was not very busy but it was only lunch time on a Sunday. I sat at the bar with my husband… two bartenders came up to us right away. They were genuine when they welcomed us in. I always ask for drink & food specials. Jordan was the bartender that explained all of the drink specials and poured the beer. Angel was there right away to refresh our drink and take our food order. She took the time to explain the menu and offered suggestions for popular items. I had a question about food allergies. She went back to the kitchen and confirm certain ingredients. We ordered the one meat plate with two sides to share. The brisket was very flavorful and the Mac and cheese/beans had unique flavors. I loved that the beers were served in a mason jar! Overall– I would rush to go back here if I was in the area. I think I’ll go for the Bloody Mary bar next time. The restaurant was clean, the servers were friendly, and the food was good! I love this bar!

This is a very spacious place, open floor, stage in the back with additional«beverage» stations. Country music is played loud but not so loud you can’t enjoy conversation. We were seated rather quickly and the server was great. We started with appetizers and drinks that arrived promptly. The food was delicious with generous portions. I suggest you try the fries! Yummy with a really nice crisp to them! They have a great selection of moonshine drinks that are fresh and delectable! We were celebrating my sons last meal before leaving for Marine bootcamp and when the server heard that, he brought out two fried Twinkie desserts on the house. Overall great experience. Parking is free or you can valet for $ 10.00. Definitely would go back for more comfort food in a comfortable atmosphere.

When you hear Toby Keith’s Bar and grill you probably think of country… As that only makes sense… Along with Country music, sweet southern servers, good«soul food» This is the complete opposite. I went there for a late dinner– service and food was terrible(¾ people left throwing up by food poisoning) Our waitress was straight up rude… And then came to our table only 3 times total through out the night. 1. To get our order 2. Give us food 3. Check Nobody came around we could not even find the manager to complain and order more drinks or get condiments. They played country music for maybe 30 minutes and then it was rap… I have no idea how this place stays open or functions with the Toby Keith name. This is an embarrassment of an establishment… If you really want a country bar go to Joe’s bar on weed street or bub city. Do not waste your time, money or energy to come here

I decided to give this place another chance and I am glad I did. Came back with a group of other managers from work and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had excellent service and my burger was really good. I must have hit it on an off day. Who knows, maybe next time it will be a five. Everybody deserves another shot, happy I gave them one.

If you like quality beer at a great price and country music, this is your spot! Came here while out of town and enjoyed it very much. It was a Wednesday so all drafts, including local and crafts, were only 4 bucks. Plus the beer of the month was $ 3(New Belgium’s summer). It was a good vibe here also as all the staff were friendly and they have a duet playing live music. My only complaint is the bartender didn’t ask and I forget to request a temp on my burger. Came out pretty medium but oh well it wasn’t bad. Great for drinks, not bad for food.
